Vanessa gave him look of irritation. Had he come here looking for a fight? She turned back to her laptop and said carelessly," Nothing is wrong with me. It's a friend. She does this sometimes. Uses my name to check into places quietly. It's just irritating, not dangerous. So, nothing is wrong with me."
With that, Vanessa thought she had answered the man and fixed her eyes to her laptop screen. Better to look at that than the golden tanned skin. But Elliott seemed to have no intention of backing off. Instead, he walked further into the room, leaned over her desk and asked, "How long has 'sometimes' been going on?"
