Chapter 197 - Chapter 197: Skipping the World Alliance’s Battleships Like Stones

The global allied forces spent a long time preparing war supplies—three full days. They hauled in resources from nearly the entire world to the outskirts of Marley, determined to blast open a breach in the wall so the people inside could rush out.

But just as they finished preparations and were about to launch the assault on the walls, a massive boom rang out—

Roger Eikam suddenly stood up.

Yes. The thousand-meter Titan stood, and then—right in front of their eyes—walked straight toward them.

Not with the slow pace they expected at the beginning, but incredibly fast—like a normal human walking speed.

They had laid countless traps in Roger Eikam's path, believing that once he stepped into them, they could deal catastrophic damage—explosions, for example.

But when Roger Eikam strode through those traps, he didn't hesitate at all. If anything, there was a hint of disdain.

He crushed them effortlessly.

Explosions detonated beside his feet without causing him the slightest pain. Even when the blast shattered his ankle in that instant, he repaired it immediately with Titan power.

He reached the allied forces in no time, leaving them stunned.

What was going on?!

How was he moving so fast?!

The allied commanders had never imagined this. They'd assumed that because Roger Eikam was enormous, his walking speed would be extremely sluggish, giving them plenty of time to react. In that case, even if they couldn't win, they could still retreat.

But what they could never have predicted was that Roger Eikam was fast—fast in a way that didn't feel human at all.

Only Roger Eikam understood why.

It came from the Female Titan's flexibility and the Jaw Titan's speed.

With those agility boosts, his Titan body wasn't slow and clumsy like other Titans.

He hadn't devoured the Cart Titan or the Colossal Titan yet, so his stamina was slightly lacking—because he didn't have the Cart Titan's endurance.

And because he hadn't devoured the Colossal Titan, he was still only in an early stage.

Yes—he was still just a "mini Titan," without the ability to super-giantize.

Even so, his body was already the largest thing on the ground.

Any bigger than this… Roger Eikam couldn't even imagine how enormous it would become—

—or how anything could possibly survive on the surface of the earth at that point.

He crushed the allied forces' traps with ease and arrived before them at terrifying speed.

They aimed their cannons at him and fired.

Roger Eikam only raised a hand—and blocked everything.

Boom boom boom boom boom boom!

The shelling was dense, trying to blast his arm apart.

But the moment those shells struck Roger Eikam's skin, they did almost nothing. Those bursts of flame were swallowed up as if absorbed—completely taken into him.

And right in front of everyone's eyes, the flames on Roger Eikam's body only burned fiercer.

He didn't even seem to notice he'd been attacked.

Because the fire from the explosions wasn't even as hot as the fire already blazing on him.

The allied soldiers were dumbstruck, and they began to withdraw at once.

But Roger Eikam only crouched down—like he was studying ants—and watched them with interest as they scrambled to carry off their supplies.

Carry it back the same way you brought it.

Truly like ants—tiny and ridiculous.

"If you want to help the Marleyans," Roger Eikam said, his voice thundering like the sky itself, "then I don't mind capturing you too and sending you into the walls with them."

The people on the ground panicked, scattering in chaos, no formation, no order.

Saving Marleyans?

Fighting for humanity's survival?

At a time like this, it was all bullshit. They only wanted to live—to not be crushed under Roger Eikam's feet.

The command center screamed orders, trying to force them to take the high ground and reorganize an attack.

But the army had already lost its nerve. No one dared to attack Roger Eikam anymore.

How were they supposed to fight?

How could they fight?!

They didn't even understand anymore.

Watching them flee while desperately hauling their supplies, Roger Eikam grew impatient with how slow they were.

So he reached down, scooped them up, and dumped them in a heap onto their warships.

Yes—like sweeping trash.

He swept them all onto their own ships.

The allied forces suffered countless casualties. Just being grabbed once by Roger Eikam caused devastating losses.

And after he "sent them off," Roger Eikam even seized their warships and gave them a little push—

Hurling them into the distance!

Like skipping stones along a river, he watched them fly away, splashing six or seven ripples across the surface.

It even reminded Roger Eikam of his childhood.

How amusing, he thought, a smile spreading across his face.

Then he returned to the wall, ready to keep watching over his Marleyans.

The Marleyans had heard the cannon fire, but they hadn't expected that even the global allied forces couldn't do anything to Roger Eikam. In what felt like no time at all, the allied forces' noise vanished completely.

And then, on top of the wall, a colossal shadow appeared. It crouched down and stared at them closely.

After confirming that not a single one was missing, it sat back down again.

Now the Marleyans were terrified. They hid in their homes and didn't dare come out.

With nowhere to run, some of them even thought about digging tunnels to escape.

But that would take time and manpower.

The Marleyans didn't want to do the work themselves, so they thought they could force Eldians to do it—just like before.

But when they came into the Eldian internment zone with that familiar, practiced arrogance—

They discovered the internment zone had erupted.

Those Eldians—people who had been treated like livestock, like pigs and dogs—

Now exploded with rage.

Old debts and new debts—settled all at once!

They seized weapons and smashed them into Marleyan soldiers and every Marleyan who had ever looked down on them.

"Go to hell, Marleyans!"

they roared, voices so loud it was like a knot in their hearts finally snapped open and released everything.

The Marleyan soldiers immediately opened fire in self-defense.

Bang bang bang bang bang!

Gunfire cracked nonstop, and Eldians fell one after another.

But even facing bullets, the Eldians didn't flinch. They still fought back, still charged their oppressors head-on!

Gabi and Falco were among them.

Now even they were lost, not knowing which side to choose.

This was the worst scenario they could imagine.

The surging crowd carried them along, shoving them straight toward the barrels of guns.

At first, Gabi had been trying to persuade people to submit to Marley—

But now she realized her own people didn't want to hear a word from her. And in the frenzy, they even shoved her to the front lines.

Because she was so small, Gabi got tripped and fell. People stepped on her without mercy.

Falco was still in a safer spot. Gabi screamed sharply, calling for him to rush in and save her.

But what she never could have expected was—

Falco didn't move.

He looked at Gabi coldly, as if he were hoping she would die.
