With both girls having secured their first victory within the tournament they had some time to rest, not that either of them truly needed that time. Despite these people supposedly being some of the best and brightest fighters of the city, both girls felt slightly underwhelmed with their strength.
Sure their opponents were strong, no one that made it to the main event was weak. Yet their is a clear difference between someone strong, and then someone truly powerful.
Both Violet and Luna would fit comfortably within the truly powerful category, so to face off against opponents around their own level was not enough to truly push them to their limits.
