Damon's POV
What a strange coincidence. Ronan stopped by the house to pick something he had forgotten with his brothers, and I had come here for one reason only. We met each other on our way here.
Elora was not going to miss a session just because the whole academy suddenly believed she was a murderer. If anything, she needed this more now.
We stood right outside Kael's door, and the moment we got there, we both froze.
We were not imagining things. The sounds from inside were very clear.
"It seems your brother finally lost control," I muttered under my breath. "He even brought another lady into his room now?"
"It is not another lady." Ronan's voice came out sharp and immediate, fire flashing in his eyes before I could even finish speaking.
I barely had time to process his words before he pushed the door open.
It was too late to pretend we saw nothing.
