What surprised Cui Hu was that Su Jiameng didn't appear forlorn at all; instead, she was visibly euphoric! Her pale face, blood at the mouth, the joy on her face... the night wind blew, stirring an odd sensation in Cui Hu's heart.
"I'm fine..." Raising her arm, she wiped the blood at her mouth heavily, and she smiled broadly, showing blood-stained white teeth, "No need for night watch tonight. You and Theo should go get some sleep. It's not been easy for you these days."
