"Xu Yi, that's enough, it's too heavy if we carry too much." Lu Ke looked at the basket full of grapes and stopped.
"Alright, that's about enough." Xu Yi put the last bunch of grapes into the basket and then sheathed his dagger.
Next, the two found a spot to sit down and prepare for lunch.
"Nature really is full of surprises; we came looking for a beehive and found so many grapes." Lu Ke commented, amazed by the unexpected bounty from today's outing.
"Yeah, you never know what you'll find." Xu Yi smiled slightly, accepting the smoked meat slice Lu Ke handed him.
"Even though we didn't catch any prey today, we're not empty-handed." Lu Ke took a bite of her meat slice and glanced at the distant beehive.
"Yes, grapes are good too. We really need fruits and vegetables; after all, we have plenty of meat." Xu Yi said while chewing on a slice of meat.
The two chatted casually for a bit and finished their lunch.
Though each meal was just meat slices, they didn't complain.
