In the evening, Brandy Quinn returned home and, upon opening the door, saw Leo Ford sitting on the sofa.
There were several empty bottles of alcohol on the coffee table in front of the man. There was still some drink in the glass, and he was leaning back on the sofa, his clothes and hair a bit disheveled. It seemed like... he was drunk.
In Brandy's memory, Leo had never been drunk.
This man had a natural advantage over others, namely a high alcohol tolerance; he was the type to never get drunk even after a thousand drinks.
Perhaps because of this advantage, he chose to open a bar and become a bar owner. Whether drinking with customers or friends, he would never get drunk.
But now, he seemed genuinely drunk.
Leo sensed someone standing at the door and suddenly swayed to his feet, grinning foolishly at Brandy: "Honey, you're back."
Brandy felt irritated whenever she saw this man. Thinking about the child in her belly, she really didn't want to talk to him.
