"Yes, we shouldn't be so proactive." Professor Sutton said anxiously, worried his daughter might suffer a disadvantage.
Just then, Ms. Hayes came out of the kitchen, speaking assertively, "What does this have to do with being proactive or not?"
"Caleb and Serena are in a legitimate romantic relationship. In another six months, they're getting married anyway, so I think living together now is fine."
Ms. Hayes's voice was quite loud, so loud that Nathan Sutton, who was quietly reading in his room, heard it and immediately opened the door to come out.
Professor Sutton saw Nathan come out and quickly pulled him as an ally: "Nathan, you're the older brother. Do you think it's okay for Serena to live with Caleb now?"
