Sutton Family.
Professor Sutton was dressed in a brand new suit, sitting upright and straight, adjusting his glasses, and smiling warmly and friendly at Miles Lockwood in front of him.
"Mr. Lockwood, you didn't have to bring so many gifts. You've really gone to too much trouble."
Mr. Sutton nodded to Miles Lockwood, with a tone that was neither humble nor pushy.
Miles Lockwood's lips curved into a standard smile: "It's my first visit, and it was spontaneous. Sorry for the interruption."
"Oh, no need to say that. As the saying goes, it's always a pleasure to have friends coming from afar. Mr. Lockwood, you came all the way from Kingsharbor to Northwood, it's us who should apologize if our hospitality falls short."
Professor Sutton said calmly, without batting an eye.
Miles Lockwood's voice was rich and deep, carrying a sense of presence as soon as he spoke.
"You're too kind, Professor Sutton."
