The vast wilderness felt desolate and uninhabited.
In the dense underbrush, a gray hare cautiously peeked its head out of its burrow.
It perked up its long ears, listening to the sounds around it.
Recently, many hawks had appeared, causing harm to its kind, so it had to be extra careful.
Suddenly, the hare's long ears twitched.
It heard a strange noise rapidly approaching from afar.
The gray hare was so frightened that it instantly retreated back into its burrow, hiding deep underground.
However, the rumbling sound grew increasingly louder, as if numerous horses were galloping, their iron hooves pounding heavily on the ground, causing the dirt from the walls of the burrow to drizzle down.
After a long time, the external noise gradually faded away, and the gray hare poked its head out again.
It anxiously looked towards the direction where the sound had disappeared.
All it saw was a rolling cloud of dust in the distance!
