When the Gu Worms returned once more, there was no trace of those Bird Demons; they had already been devoured by countless Gu Worms, not a single feather remained.
This caused many members of the Demon Race to feel apprehensive, their initial urge to approach was promptly abandoned.
Firstly, the Gu Worm tide was terrifying, and secondly, the Celestial Ruins Realm had yet to open, there was no need to rush, it was better to wait quietly outside the Bone Forest.
After clearing out a few Demon Races near the Bone Forest, the Gu Worms returned to silence, without pursuing the arriving demons in a frenzied slaughter.
Even though they were insects, they possessed intelligence; though numbered in billions, they weren't endless against the numerous Demon Race members, with Great Demons among them possessing deep and terrifying auras.
To them, as long as they could guard the Bone Forest, they could peacefully coexist with the arriving Demon Race.
