The bones surpassing Level 6 life forms are indeed worth a fortune, at least for Duke right now.
Items of this level are generally needed by Level 6 Mages, who might use them for research that could help on their path to ascend to Level 7.
Everyone is preparing for the future, and whoever can first ascend to Level 7 after Albert will gain the upper hand in the new world.
Thus, it's not surprising that this item fetched the astronomical price of ten billion Level 2 Magic Stones; it's probably considered quite reasonable by these people.
On the seventh day of the auction, Duke finally awaited the item he truly needed.
The reactions in the venue were somewhat subtle when it was brought out.
A few prominent figures on the first floor took a glance and then leaned back in their seats, evidently not too interested.
But quite a few people slightly leaned forward in their seats.
