Duke's research paper begins with an overview, followed by the historical background of the Magic Potion, the standard composition of the Pupil of the Rule Horizon, selection criteria for each material, refining flowchart, and key points of Spiritual Power control for each process.
He detailed the variation in reactions of each material at different purities, and drew dozens of diagrams for supplementary explanation.
By the time he finished writing, he had lost track of how many pages he had written.
He only remembered looking up to see a thick pile of parchment on the desk, each densely written and interspersed with numerous annotations.
When he finally paused his pen, he counted one hundred and seventeen pages.
The room was filled with the scent of ink mixed with the peculiar mustiness of parchment, and the sky outside the window had darkened.
He rubbed his sore neck and gently placed the last page on top of the pile.
