Within the Light God Court, Duke hovered in mid-air. In front of him was the Heart of the Insect Race of a Level 2 Nest, massive as a small house.
Its entire body was dark purple, its surface covered with veins throbbing like living creatures. The immense life energy contained within it rose and fell like tides, emitting an unsettling pulsation.
Beside it, there were four fist-sized Level 1 Nest Cores, also glowing but much weaker.
Duke's gaze was focused on the center of the pale green Spring of Life below.
In the depths of the spring, the World Tree Seed still floated quietly, radiating an ancient and vast aura, but remaining in a deep sleep state.
