It's late at night.
A candle was lit in the air raid shelter. Some people went to sleep early, some were tidying up, and others were curled up on the ground, occasionally letting out suppressed sobbing sounds.
They missed their families.
Most of these people were students studying away from home. After the disaster broke out, communication was lost, and they couldn't contact their distant parents and relatives. Those monsters were terrifying, and the chances of their parents surviving were slim. Even if they were alive, how could they reunite now with transportation paralyzed, and the distance spanning thousands of miles making a reunion impossible!
Some people were wallowing in self-pity, trapped in the corners of their minds, unable to emerge, living in a daze every day like the walking dead.
