Actually, Guan Yu's story, if placed in a novel, would just be ordinary melodrama. It might not even be given to the main character, at most to a supporting one, and described in passing.
Based on her level of reading tragic stories, this kind of plot wouldn't be enough to make her feel so uncomfortable.
But this story just happened to Guan Yu, to someone whom everyone assumed was naturally carefree, funny, and bold.
The deviation was so great that it was deeply impressive.
Mu Qiu wiped her tears again and asked with a nasal voice, "The discomfort came too unexpectedly. I really thought this was just a tea party to chat about life ideals. Does anyone else have such a story? If you do, please tell it too, or I'm afraid I won't even need this last piece of tissue."
Then, crying on camera with tears and snot all over, it was truly terrifying.
Everyone else looked at each other.
Guan Yu: "No more, I guess?"
