Director Liu was unusually on time leaving work today.
Normally, someone as busy with work and social engagements as he is would consider it quite good to be home by eight or nine in the evening.
But today was different; unfinished work could wait until tomorrow, and he cleared up all his engagements.
This certainly made people a bit surprised.
Director Liu took the initiative to explain, smiling as he said:
"Today is my 30th wedding anniversary. I told my family I'd be home for dinner, so I must go home!"
Only then did others understand, feeling both enlightened and a bit emotional:
Director Liu really is a good man who loves his family and wife. Despite his busy work schedule, he still remembers such things.
As soon as it was time to leave, Director Liu leisurely picked up his bag and left, even making a special stop by a florist near home to buy a bouquet before heading to his apartment building.
