Lorraine York seemed uninterested in meeting them.
She only stared at Monica Cole for a while before leaving.
Thea Shaw and the others were sharp; they could sense the subtle tension. It was as if Lorraine was a bit afraid that Monica might report her, hence the constant staring.
Monica also seemed to have some unspoken words.
Aurora Sutton smiled, "Are you not on good terms with her?"
"No, no!"
Monica hastily replied, forcing a smile on her face, "She's my cousin, how could that be? She just got here, isn't familiar with the place, and is a bit shy. I'll introduce her to you all later."
She tidied her hair, which had been messed up earlier when Lorraine grabbed it.
After fixing herself, she said to Aurora and the others, "Sister Aurora, I have homework to do, so I'll head off first."
Aurora nodded.
