Lost in thought, Julian's car arrived just in time and stopped beside her.
Sarah opened the car door and got in. Julian noticed she wasn't wearing a shoe on one foot and asked, "What happened?"
Sarah smiled nonchalantly, "It's just high heels! I often get them accidentally stuck while walking, it's nothing!"
Julian wisely didn't press further, "Girls shouldn't push themselves too hard."
