"Second brother, do you think my mom gave birth to twins back then? Could it be that I have a twin sister or brother out there?"
Sophie Sutton half-jokingly said.
Silas Sutton replied, "I asked, and there are people who look alike in this world. Plus, with the dim lighting at night, Asher Thorne probably just got it wrong."
Sophie Sutton pouted, "Of course! If I had met him, how could I not remember?"
This statement made Silas Sutton even more certain.
After hanging up the phone, Sophie Sutton stood for a while and then turned to see Eric Thorne standing eerily behind her. She was startled, patting her chest, "There's something wrong with you! Standing behind me like that and scaring me? Were you eavesdropping on my call on purpose?"
Eric Thorne pouted, "You're overthinking it! I'm not interested in eavesdropping on others' calls; I just got here."
Sophie Sutton gave him a suspicious look, "Hmph! You better be telling the truth!"
