Jason Hawthorne had just arrived at the office when he encountered a visitor, someone he really didn't want to see.
He said with an unfriendly tone, "For work-related matters, just go directly to Mason Cross in the future. I'm very busy."
Although Stella Jennings had mentally prepared herself, she still felt very hurt. She took a deep breath, "Jason, I came today to resign."
Her words surprised Jason Hawthorne a bit. He looked up at her, seemingly waiting for her next words.
Stella Jennings was quite satisfied to see the puzzled expression on his face, "I've thought it through, being a career woman isn't my dream. A lot has happened recently, and I want to go out and clear my mind, to truly understand what I want."
Jason Hawthorne responded in a deep voice, "Okay."
Stella Jennings bit her lip, "Jason, don't you have anything else to say to me? I'm doing this entirely because..."
