Julian Fairchild drove the car, his fingers long and distinct, beautiful and forceful.
"There's an inn on the mountain, we won't go back tonight."
Maeve Lane leaned back against the seat, pensive, "Palova is quite high. If we want to reach the top today, it might be early morning."
"Then we'll watch the sunrise." Julian had clearly thought this through, he glanced at the storage cabinet in the car, "Look what's inside."
Maeve found a piece of Wishing Wood inside, she had seen it before when filming a show.
Over the years, the edges of the Wishing Wood had been polished smooth and round.
It had her and Julian Fairchild's names written on it.
There weren't many cars heading to the outskirts at night, and they soon arrived at Palova mountain. After parking the car, Julian took out a thick padded jacket from the trunk.
"Put this on, it's colder up there."
Maeve put it on and adjusted Julian's collar, "Aren't you wearing more?"
