Maeve leaned over and hugged Keane.
She actually had such a big child with Julian Fairchild.
But she had no memory of it at all.
Based on his age, he should have been born when she was eighteen.
But didn't she start college just a few months later?
Why did she have no impression whatsoever?
Perhaps this question would have to wait for Rosalyn Jennings to answer.
Mrs. Fairchild saw the two finished talking and cheerfully jogged over, smiling with pursed lips, "How about it, wasn't I right?!"
"Keane, call grandma and let me hear!"
Keane looked towards Julian Fairchild.
The man had been staring at him, but said nothing as he turned to leave.
For some reason, Keane felt a bit disappointed.
Maeve patted his head, saying softly, "Call her grandma."
It's 'grandma,' not 'Grandma Fairchild,' and although it's just a word's difference, the meaning is worlds apart.
Keane spoke, "Grandma."
