Sylvia Lane spoke tearfully, crying her heart out, "If Mrs. Fairchild doesn't believe me and trusts Maeve, then I'll leave now."
As she said this, she shakily stood up, continuously sobbing, and began to walk downstairs.
At that moment.
Mrs. Fairchild held her back, "Alright, I believe you."
Sylvia felt a slight relief in her heart; for a moment, she truly thought her image in front of Mrs. Fairchild had completely collapsed.
Thankfully, Mrs. Fairchild held her back.
"With Maeve as your sister, you really have endured a lot of grievances, haven't you? You must have been bullied frequently, right?" Mrs. Fairchild glanced at Sylvia, whose miserable state reminded her of the last time she was driven to the hospital by Julian and Maeve.
She actually felt somewhat empathetic.
Sylvia quickly turned to gently hug Mrs. Fairchild, showing her injuries, "Madam, look, am I going to be left with scars? It hurts so much."
