Rosalyn Jennings was arranging a bouquet in her hands; she had always loved flower arranging, and her work could be found throughout the Lane Family home.
Maeve Lane walked up behind her and softly called, "Mom."
The woman trembled all over, looking in disbelief toward the source of the voice.
"Zoe?" Rosalyn Jennings was so overwhelmed she was trembling, staring in surprise at the girl in front of her.
She slowly walked forward and tightly grasped Maeve Lane's arm, "Is it you, Zoe?"
"It's me." Maeve Lane placed her palm on Rosalyn Jennings' hand, warm as always, "I've come to see you."
"Zoe... my Zoe." Rosalyn Jennings abruptly pulled her into her arms, tears flooding her eyes, looking sorrowfully, "It's my fault, mom has troubled you."
