Sergei stepped in, moving Kellen back behind him, a clear sign of protection and Hill grabbed Kellen's arm again. Both were behaving like something terrible was going to happen to Kellen, and it was bad that Kellen found their concern amusing.
"We, the other Captains and I, would like to thank everyone for coming out on such short notice to listen to us speak. We understand that not everyone was able to attend this press conference, including some faces that you would expect to be here. However, to keep the city safe, we can't always be in the same place." Sergei's voice rang out over the crowd, his eyes scanning the crowd for any movement that was suspicious.
Kellen hadn't noticed anything, but then again, he only had one eye to look out of at this point. He also didn't know this space as well as the Saturn Guild, so he could only guess at what would be the best spots for an Esper to watch the press conference from.
