Muspelheim, the realm of the Flame Giants. Endless fire engulfed the entire planet, and volcanic eruptions occurred from time to time. Several Flame Giants bathed in molten lava looked up toward the sky.
In the sky, a cluster of starlight gathered into a blinding beam and shot downward. Beneath the beam, Allens' Infinity Gauntlet released a Psychokinesis field—yet he was still blasted into a pool of magma.
Crack… crack…
Inside the lava pool, the Psychokinesis field shielded Allens from the molten heat. At the same time, the frost Infinity Stone embedded in the Gauntlet emitted a cold glow, freezing the magma around him instantly.
Several Flame Giants submerged in lava were instantly turned into ice sculptures. As Allens rose, he saw Odin in the sky—his right eye fully awakened.
"The All-Seeing Eye? The World Tree?"
Allens faintly heard Flame Giant King Surtur's whisper and frowned.
To be honest, Allens didn't know much about the World Tree—the root of the Nine Realms.
In his previous life, some people online claimed the World Tree's power was a Nine-Realms version of Eternity; others said it was an abstract cosmic force.
There were countless interpretations, and even Marvel's comic editors probably didn't know its final form.
"I, Odin Borson of the Aesir, God-King of Asgard and All-Father of the Nine Realms, hereby call upon the power of the World Tree."
High in the sky, Odin raised the Rainbow Scepter. Within his All-Seeing Eye, the phantom of the World Tree emitted a divine glow. Odin's body radiated blinding light, energy tides roaring outward, shaking all of Muspelheim.
Boom—boom—boom.
Even standing on solid ground, both Surtur and Allens could feel the crushing pressure. Not even the power of Allens' fake Infinity Gauntlet could withstand it.
"Allens… I am old and nearing eternal sleep. But I can still use the last of my strength to drag you into death."
With the All-Seeing Eye opened, Odin could perceive the World Tree and borrow its power—but at the cost of his own life and soul.
At this moment, Odin's left eye shone gold, while his right eye burned with white divine light. He did not appear stronger than before, yet simply standing there made others feel the presence of death itself.
Boom.
Odin pointed the Rainbow Scepter toward Allens. A massive surge of cosmic energy erupted, forming a gigantic python of pure darkness—its body radiating the aura of death.
"The World Serpent… Jörmungandr? So Odin even sealed Jörmungandr inside the World Tree?"
Surtur's expression contorted in horror. As the king of the Flame Giants, he knew well the legends of Jörmungandr—the serpent destined to destroy the world. It was said that when the serpent awakened, Ragnarök would begin, and Asgard would fall.
Unexpectedly, Odin had located Jörmungandr long ago—using divine power to trap it on the branches of the World Tree, sealing away his All-Seing Eye in the process so the serpent couldn't escape.
Rumble—
An immense serpent with scarlet eyes emerged. Jörmungandr's body was larger than Muspelheim itself—its head alone the size of a meteorite.
The serpent coiled in the sky, but its massive head descended, jaws opening wide as it swallowed Allens whole.
Boom!
Allens clenched his right fist, and the six psychic enhancement stones embedded in the Gauntlet flared with blinding radiance.
The power of the five auxiliary stones converged, causing Allens' body to swell rapidly—transforming him into a four-meter-tall giant.
He forced Jörmungandr's jaws open.
Rumble—
Allens was thrown backward, smashing into volcanic rock as the serpent's enormous head swung again. Its strength—boosted by centuries of absorbing the World Tree's energy—was now nearing the All-Father level.
Whoosh.
Allens glared coldly at Odin. A blue vortex opened behind him, and he immediately vanished inside.
Earth — New York City.
Hundreds of meters above Stark Tower, a blue vortex opened. Allens emerged through it, and a beam of light shot downward from the Infinity Gauntlet, projecting directly into Stark Tower.
Boom!
The blast was like a pillar of divine light piercing the building. Employees and scientists of Stark Industries looked up in shock, frozen and confused.
"It's Mr. Allens. Something must have happened!"
In the president's office, Scarlet Witch Wanda looked up. Her body was instantly covered in a layer of nano-steel armor, and immense cosmic power surged into her suit from the sky.
ROAR.
Behind Allens, a colossal serpent head burst through the vortex. Jörmungandr, massive beyond comprehension, could travel freely across the Nine Realms.
Whoosh.
Inside Stark Tower, Scarlet Witch's body burned with scarlet Origin Magic Power. Her spiritual senses swept through the entire building instantly.
"Activate the Chaos Super Cannon."
Under Wanda's control, every employee moved at once. Scientists rushed into action.
With the help of J.A.R.V.I.S., the helipad on Stark Tower opened, and a massive mechanical device glowing with scarlet light emerged.
Inside the machine, a cluster of gray destructive energy shot directly into the sky.
Rumble—
The gray energy beam crossed space instantly and struck Jörmungandr's head, which covered half of New York.
The Chaos Super Cannon was a destructive weapon personally developed by Allens.
It combined Scarlet Witch's Origin Magic Power, all of Allens' Super Abilities, and dozens of Ark reactors linked together.
Created through the brilliance in Allens' mind, this pure-energy weapon could absorb the power of Chaos itself.
In terms of raw destructive power—it could destroy the moon in an instant.
Boom!
The gray energy struck Jörmungandr's head. A storm of dark matter, Chaos energy, and psychic force erupted, consuming the serpent's body like a black hole midair.
"Phew… This weapon was originally designed for Odin. Didn't expect I'd use it on Jörmungandr."
Allens watched the serpent vanish into the black hole, a hint of regret in his eyes. According to Norse mythology, Jörmungandr was immortal. Allens had merely shattered its energy form and sent it into an unknown dimension. Sooner or later, the World Serpent would return.
