Chapter 227 - Online Court, Death Penalty from the Start!

Group member [Citizen of Sin City] sent a cross-dimensional application to the chat group, with a headcount of 0/1.

In the Marvel world, looking at the invitation in the group chat, White Night hesitated for a moment before sending another message.

[Deep Blue]: @Citizen of Sin City, are you in a hurry right now?

[Citizen of Sin City]: ???

[Deep Blue]: It's nothing, just… if it's not urgent, can you let me play for another day or two? [Deep Blue]: I just finished dealing with things and haven't had time to spend with my girlfriends. If I go to your place, it feels like it would take at least a month or two. So, I'd like to put it off for a couple of days…

Inside Arkham Asylum, looking at Deep Blue's message and thinking of his deceased wife and children, Gavin, who had just been laughing, was instantly silenced.

His gaze moved with difficulty, looking at his body, which was tightly locked up, and the dark cell. After hesitating for a moment, he still sent a kindhearted "Okay" back.

This Gavin is actually quite a nice guy. White Night nodded in satisfaction after receiving Gavin's reply.

After all, helping out the group wasn't a mandatory quest for him, and there were no rewards or punishments involved.

So, this kind of voluntary labor could certainly wait until he'd had his fill of fun. Everything could be done at a leisurely pace. What was the rush? He wasn't trying to make a deadline.

And so, after Gavin spent another three days in Arkham, spearheading through the crowd of women, and successfully stuffing his girlfriends until they were full, it was only after a leisurely bath that Bai Ye finally accepted the invitation.

At this moment, within Arkham, Bai Ye appeared silently, clad in a pristine white robe that was untouched by dust. His clean shoes trod upon the somewhat damp ground, protected by the stance, like an immortal, detached from the world.

In front of Bai Ye, Gavin looked somewhat disheveled. He hadn't showered in over a dozen days, and even handling his basic physiological needs was incredibly cumbersome. The stench of his sweat could be smelled from a long distance.

However, Bai Ye's attention was not drawn to his appearance first, but to his eyes.

"It's only been two months, and your transformation amazes me," Bai Ye commented.

Gavin didn't reply, as even his mouth was restricted from opening. He merely rolled his eyes, gazing calmly at Bai Ye.

Unlike his initial humility, there was unprecedented hostility in his eyes now.

With a light wave of his hand, White Night conjured several gusts of wind, effortlessly severing all the restraints on the other person.

"Clang!" As the sound of metal hitting the ground echoed, Gavin adjusted his posture mid-air and stood firm, his voice raspy as he said, "Thank you."

"No problem. Now, where are your wife and son's ashes?" White Night asked, revealing an eyeball in his hand, the Rinnegan. "I'll revive them while I can… though I haven't tried resurrecting people in your world before, and I don't know if the rules of this world allow it."

Facing White Night, Gavin slowly shook his head, "No need! Don't revive them."

"Huh?" White Night couldn't help but be taken aback. "Not reviving them? Why?"

"I've thought it through these past few days." Gavin explained to White Night. "The dead are gone. Even if they were revived, they wouldn't be the people I knew in my heart, only copies with their memories."

"That's a strange way of thinking." White Night said, speechless. "This world has the concept of souls, so wouldn't reviving them truly be the same person?"

At the same time, in the surveillance room, the security personnel, upon seeing the sudden appearance of White Night and the unbound Gavin on the screen, immediately became tense and quickly sounded the alarm.

Soon, the piercing sound echoed throughout Arkham Asylum.

However, this didn't affect the two people in the room. After confirming that Gavin didn't intend to revive his wife and daughters, White Night could only comply.

"So, my mission is complete now?" White Night asked.

"I have another request I'd like to ask of you." Gavin looked at White Night with a serious expression: "I want to ask you to correct this world?"

"Correct the world?"

"Yes, this world is full of evil, especially this city, which is the source of all evil. I want to completely eliminate the evil in this world."

"I want every evildoer to die in excruciating pain, and I want them to regret their actions before they die."

White Night looked at Gavin speechlessly. It seemed like the other party had gone a bit crazy during this period, but...

"This seems interesting," White Night said with a smile, looking at Gavin, whose resolute eyes held a hint of madness. "No problem, what do you want to do?"

Gavin looked to the right, where a large group of security and doctors were rushing towards them. "Let's start with this asylum."

"I forgot to ask, what are your standards of justice? What counts as a crime?" White Night asked curiously.

"Those who intentionally kill, deserve to die!"

"Those who defile others, deserve to die!"

"Drug traffickers, deserve to die!"

"Adulterers, deserve to die!"

"Those who traffic in human beings, deserve to die!"

...

Listening to Gavin's answer, Bai Ye was speechless. This was like an online trial, starting with the death penalty, even more extreme than himself.

Bai Ye didn't expect that Gavin, who was over thirty, was such a redneck.

Outside the door, the security guards stood nervously at the entrance, holding electric batons and handguns. Because of the special nature of this asylum, their self-defense weaponry was slightly higher.

But compared to the guy inside who had slaughtered countless gangsters, their current tiny arms and legs were completely inadequate.

"Creak!"

Amidst the extreme tension, the door was slowly opened. The moment Gavin appeared, someone fired bullets at his legs, but he easily dodged them.

"Those who abet evil deserve punishment!"

The words faded, and Gavin struck out with a palm, instantly sending out a wave of qi that struck the attacker's chest, causing them to cough up blood and fly backward.

Although this blow wasn't fatal, a few months of bed rest were inevitable.

"Surrender obediently, then go and bring out all the other mental patients, or don't blame me for being impolite." Gavin's gaze swept over the group, his tone icy cold.

"I advise you to listen and be obedient." At this moment, Bai Ye stepped out, gently leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest. "Otherwise, when this guy goes crazy, it won't be so easy to suppress him."

Only then did the security personnel notice Bai Ye. Seeing his long black hair cascading down like a waterfall, they immediately realized that this guy was probably not quite right in the head either.

But as it turned out, they were wrong. Bai Ye wasn't crazy?

But a sane person with power would cause a thousand or ten thousand times more harm than a crazy person without power. After all, the strong truly have the ability to twist the world to their will.
