Kaguya didn't listen to a single word Shigeo said. Her face twisted with fury, veins bulging.
"A mere mortal dares to shout at me?!"
In her heart, the people of the human world were nothing but lowly creatures.
Once, she had wanted to coexist with them in peace.
But what she experienced later made her understand that humans were simply not worth any sympathy.
Hachijū Kōgeki (Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack) crashed down once more.
The rabbit-hair fists poured out like a storm of Hyōton (Ice Release) spikes, densely packed as they shot forward.
But there was no longer any trace of Shigeo on the scene.
Not only had he vanished, even the hundreds of Kage Bunshin (Shadow Clones) around Kaguya had all disappeared without a trace.
Just as she was wondering what was going on, the space before her suddenly twisted.
The void flipped like a curtain, and a figure stepped out right in front of her.
The instant she saw this person, Kaguya froze completely.
What kind of handsome man was this?
A body with golden-ratio proportions, compact and powerful muscles, and a face that could only be described as divine.
"W-wow!"
Kaguya's nose spurted blood, as if some hidden switch in her nerves had been slammed wide open.
It was actually one of Shigeo's clones, transformed into a completely naked, hyper-masculine hunk.

From within the rips in space, countless bolts of lightning roared out, crashing down on Kaguya.
At the same time, Raiton (Lightning Release) converted into Hyōton (Ice Release), then into Yōton (Lava Release), Bakuton (Explosion Release), Kōton (Steel Release)…

"A chakra that strong… and he actually finished the fight in less than ten minutes?"
Hashirama stared at Shigeo in disbelief.
"That was even shorter than when he fought Madara. But I feel like she's way stronger than Madara, dattebayo.
Looks like my sensei's been hiding his full strength from us."
Naruto's face was split in a grin, the smile of victory shining bright.
"Indeed. When it comes to Shigeo's power, it's not about what he can't do—only about what we haven't thought of yet."
Itachi's lips curved slightly as he spoke, a rare open smile on his face.
Any ninja with real battlefield experience could see it.
The fight with Madara had been brutal and had cost countless lives, but compared to Kaguya's chakra reserves, Madara's capacity wasn't even worth mentioning.
And yet, Shigeo had taken the shortest time of all when fighting Kaguya.
That alone proved that he had been deliberately holding back before.
It also proved that this woman really was the final boss—
And that the war should now be over.
Sure enough, Shigeo gave Kaguya's sealed body a yank, leapt into the air, and announced in a voice that echoed over the battlefield:
"This great war is over.
We've won!"
On the battlefield, the entire army erupted into cheers.
Everyone shouted Shigeo's name, their voices shaking the sky and pounding in their ears, and the roar didn't fade for a long, long time.
"Foolish humans."
Kaguya snorted coldly.
Shigeo tightened his grip on the chakra-sealing chains and laughed.
"You should be grateful it's me. I'm the one sparing your life.
Otherwise, going by the original storyline, you wouldn't even have any lines."
With that, he gave a hard pull and yanked Kaguya right up to him.
He reached out, and drew the Divine Tree's chakra straight out of her body.
In the end, only a small amount of Ten-Tails chakra was left inside her, just enough to keep her alive.
"All nine Tailed Beasts are here. Sort it out among yourselves.
I've got things to do, so I'm heading off."
As he spoke, he tossed the Ten-Tails' chakra toward the Sage of Six Paths.
"Shigeo-dono, what about the upcoming joint council of the ninja world?
Now that the war is over, as the commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces, you should stay and preside over the meeting."
Even Ōnoki, at this point, felt such respect that he could bow to the ground for Shigeo.
In this war, without Shigeo, winning would have been next to impossible.
They were lucky he had stepped in.
Otherwise, everyone would have ended up as fertilizer for the Divine Tree.
The Sage of Six Paths had already explained everything to them about the Divine Tree, Kaguya, White Zetsu, Black Zetsu, and the rest.
Now, the Sage looked at Shigeo.
There were no Gudōdama (Truth-Seeking Orbs) floating behind him, and with the announcement of the Fourth Great Ninja War's end, the Sage's own Senjutsu (Sage Technique) had faded away.
Even so, the Sage could still feel the overwhelming power in Shigeo's body.

Kaguya looked at the Sage of Six Paths, then turned her head away slightly without saying a word.
"You can hold the council yourselves.
Itachi, from today on, you are Morenin Village's Mo-Kage.
The South Mo Country is in your hands from now on. Don't refuse—I know you can do it."
Shigeo waved at him as he finished speaking, then disappeared with Kaguya in an instant.
Itachi gave a slight nod.

They had no idea that far out in deep space, Shigeo and Kaguya were clearing away all sorts of threats to the ninja world of Earth.
It wasn't until half a year later, when little Ten and Kaguya reappeared in Morenin Village, that everyone finally learned the truth.
Six months earlier, Shigeo had Kaguya guide the way and snuffed out the leader of the outer-space Ōtsutsuki clan.
Then, out in space, he established a new ninja force of his own.
This time, little Ten and Kaguya had returned to Earth to fulfill Shigeo's remaining mission—
To protect the planet.
"He really stayed out in space?"
Naruto, who was training in Morenin Village, asked in disbelief.
"Sensei is seriously amazing. He does stuff the rest of us couldn't even imagine."
Itachi lifted his head to look at the sky.
"I believe that as long as I want to see him, I definitely can."
As he spoke, he squeezed the summoning talisman in his hand.
"Ahem…"
Little Ten coughed softly.
"As for where he actually is… heh, I don't know either…"
Right now, Shigeo was traveling across countless worlds.
He went wherever he wanted, did whatever he liked.
