Teen Wolf: Dragon Among Wolves] Chapter 261: Cora's Bloodline

New

Yesterday

Two days had passed since the Battle of Meereen. Jacob stood on the battlements of Winterfell, the cold northern wind tugging at his cloak. Sansa was beside him, her presence a quiet comfort.

Cogman approached, his footsteps crunching in the snow. "Sir, the Lannister army and our army will meet tomorrow."

Jacob's voice was flat. "Is Chris ready?"

Cogman nodded. "Yes. He has thirty thousand soldiers ready to deal with the Lannisters—twenty thousand from the Reach and ten thousand from the North, led by Tormund and Jon. Lady Allison took them to the Reach this morning. As for the demoness, Chris said you and Lady Allison will deal with her."

Jacob nodded slowly. "You and I will go there just in case Allison needs help."

Cogman said, "One more thing, sir."

Jacob's eyes narrowed. "What is it?"

Cogman held up a tablet. "Take a look."

Jacob and Sansa leaned forward, locking their sight onto the screen. The high-resolution satellite imagery captured the Night King standing in front of a frozen castle, surrounded by his generals and army. And in front of them, a giant horned demon whose body looked like it was made of magma. Behind the demon were twelve massive, red serpent-like creatures with dragon-like heads. Smaller fire demons flanked the giant.

Cogman's voice was grim. "I believe that's R'hllor, sir. And he seems to have formed an alliance with the Night King."

Jacob's eyes flashed red for a brief moment before returning to normal. His voice was cold. "Good. I was going to deal with the Night King after R'hllor anyway. Them being together makes things easier."

Sansa looked at the screen, her brow furrowed. "That is R'hllor... he is massive. He looks incredibly dangerous."

Jacob's voice was steady. "He's been feeding on human blood and suffering in this world for a long time. I'm sure he's very powerful. Very dangerous." He paused. "But I'm also dangerous."

Cogman asked, "What are we going to do with the wyrms behind him, sir? Are you going to keep them like Iara?"

Jacob shook his head. "No. We kill them all."

Cogman nodded. "Alright."

Sansa asked, "So what's the plan? Should we attack R'hllor and the Night King right now?"

Jacob shook his head. "No. We'll go after R'hllor after we deal with the Lannisters." He turned to Sansa. "I want you, Arya, and Brienne to teleport to Riverrun right now. Ask your great-uncle, the Blackfish, to surrender. Tell him I said he's the one who should be in charge of Riverrun—not your stupid uncle Edmure Tully. And if Edmure throws a tantrum or refuses to abdicate his lordship, tell Arya to take care of him permanently."

He continued, "Then go to the Eyrie and make them surrender. Make Yohn Royce the Lord of the Eyrie. As for Robin Arryn, deal with him as you please. And if the people in Riverrun and the Eyrie don't want to surrender, you, Arya, and Brienne use force. Show them what you are and tell them to either join my kingdom, leave Westeros, or fight and die."

Sansa nodded, her expression serious.

Jacob continued, "Once we deal with the Lannister army, you and Arya go to Dorne and bring Ellaria Sand and her daughters to King's Landing. Kill Cersei and the Mountain. After that, we'll gather all the lords of Westeros and take them with us to witness our fight against R'hllor and the Night King. I want them to witness our power with their own eyes. I want them so thoroughly terrified of our strength that the mere thought of plotting a civil war, playing dirty political tricks, or staging a rebellion will never cross their minds for generations."

Sansa nodded. "Alright. I'll go with Arya and Brienne right now." She kissed him and teleported away to find Arya and Brienne.

Just as Sansa left, Cogman spoke. "Sir, something happened on R'hllor's side. He stabbed one of the wyrms with a flaming blade. In the heart."

Jacob looked at him. "Cogman, do you have a live feed of R'hllor and the Night King?"

Cogman nodded. "Yes, sir."

He tapped on the tablet a few times and handed it to Jacob.

Jacob watched as R'hllor stood in the far north with the wyrms and his demon army. The Night King walked to the dying wyrm that R'hllor had just stabbed and touched its colossal head. Slowly, the wyrm's red body turned pale until it turned white and blue. Then it opened its eyes—no longer red, but blue.

Jacob let out a cold, flat scoff. "He gave the Night King one of his wyrms. Well, it doesn't matter to whom the wyrms belong. We'll kill them all anyway."

He tossed the tablet back to Cogman. "Keep an eye on them. We'll attack them the day after tomorrow."

Cogman nodded. "I will, sir." He hesitated. "And sir... you said your strength grows the more wives you take, right? So you should consummate your marriage with Lady Cora. R'hllor looks strong. The stronger you are, the better. If you couldn't stop him, you could escape to Serendell with my ladies and their families—but what about everyone in Westeros and Meereen?"

Jacob didn't answer.

Cogman pressed on. "I know you're not in a good mood, but I think it's time to move on. We can't protect everyone, but we can avenge them. So stop blaming yourself for a tragedy you didn't cause. Go back to your old self and start eating food. The ladies are all worried about you. You're making them sad. Remember, they share a bond with you and can feel your emotions."

Jacob sighed. Then, finally, he gave Cogman a small smile—the first smile in days. "Alright, alright. You go back to your old self too and stop giving me those concerned looks. You're creeping me out."

Seeing Cogman still staring at him with concern, Jacob said, "I'll be fine, Cogman. R'hllor taught me a lesson in blood that I will never forget. He taught me to get rid of my enemies as soon as I can, and to never provoke an enemy and think they won't strike dirty. I was actually going to fight him as soon as you told me you found him, but I thought I should use him to show my strength to the lords of Westeros. I don't want them causing a civil war when we're not here. I want them to see the consequences of angering me."

Cogman nodded. "Alright. Go see Lady Cora. I'll stay here with Lady Melissa and keep an eye on R'hllor. And remember—this is Lady Cora's first night with you. So don't go there with that depressing face of yours and ruin it for her."

Jacob shook his head with an amused smile and teleported to Meereen. After spending an hour with Malia and Daenerys, he teleported with Scott, Stiles, and Erica to Dorne.

---

Dorne

They appeared in the throne room of the Water Gardens in Sunspear, where Cora and Lydia were sitting with Ellaria and her three daughters.

Ellaria and her daughters stood up and greeted Jacob. "Welcome, Your Grace."

Jacob nodded at them, then kissed Lydia and Cora and sat down on the couch between them. He looked at Ellaria. "Relax, Ellaria. Sit down."

Ellaria and her daughters sat down.

Jacob said to Ellaria, "Sansa and Arya are going to deal with Cersei and the Mountain after we deal with the Lannister army tomorrow. I told them to bring you along to King's Landing."

Ellaria's eyes lit up with excitement. "Thank you, Your Grace."

Jacob nodded and looked at Lydia. "Go to Highgarden and join Allison. Stiles, Scott, and Erica will stay here in Dorne."

Lydia asked, "And what about you? Are you going back to Winterfell?"

Jacob shook his head with a small grin. "No. Cora and I are heading back to Serendell."

Lydia raised a brow. "Oh." Then she smiled. "Then don't let me delay you two."

She threw a playful, encouraging wink at Cora before using her Sling Ring to open a portal and vanish from the room.

Jacob looked over at Stiles, Scott, and Erica, who were watching him closely. "See you guys at the victory feast tomorrow," he said with a genuine smile.

Then he hugged Cora, and they both disappeared, returning to Serendell.

Stiles said, "He just smiled, right?"

Scott nodded. "Yeah."

Stiles said, "Thank god. That means he's finally back to his old self. To be honest, I was a little scared of him these past few days."

---

Serendell

Jacob and Cora appeared in Serendell's sky.

Jacob said, "I'm sorry I delayed our first time together for this long. I wasn't in the best of moods, and I didn't want to ruin our first time together."

Cora smiled. "It's alright. I can still wait if you want. I'm not in a hurry."

Jacob shook his head. "No. We've waited long enough." He kissed her. "The question now is—do you want to go on a date first, or should we..."

Cora cut him off. "No date. Let's go to my room. Right now."

Jacob didn't say anything more. He teleported them to Cora's room.

The moment they appeared, they started kissing, taking each other's clothes off. Jacob carried her to the bed and laid her down, leaning in to kiss her. He murmured against her lips, "I love you."

Cora said, "I love you too."

Then they started a love-making session that lasted for hours, until Cora finally lost consciousness out of sheer, blissful exhaustion, curled up securely on top of his bare chest.

Jacob kissed her forehead, dismissed the system window, and fell asleep with a satisfied smile on his lips.

---

Jacob woke a few hours later with Cora sleeping in his arms, her head resting peacefully against his chest. Reaching over, he checked his phone on the nightstand and calculated the time dilation; he still had twenty hours in Serendell time before the fight with the Lannisters would start.

He put his phone back down and finally checked the rewards he had received for consummating the bond.

[Congratulations, Host. You have consummated your bond with Cora Hale. Your strength will now begin to grow faster than before, and you may grant Cora abilities and bloodlines rewarded by the system.]

[🎁 Rewards for Consummating the Bond with Cora Hale:

1️⃣ Potion of Doubled Might: A potion that permanently doubles the drinker's current physical strength.

⚠️ Restriction: The potion must be consumed within 24 hours of receiving it. If not drunk within that time, it expires and becomes useless.

2️⃣ Domain Sense: The ability to instinctively sense any hostile, dangerous creature that enters your domain—armies, powerful supernatural creatures, or significant threats. Normal thieves, common criminals, and everyday nuisances do not trigger the sense.

⚠️ Note: A domain is any physical territory you have conquered, own, or control.

3️⃣ Scroll of Blink x20: A scroll that permanently grants the user the ability to teleport instantly within a 100-meter radius. Perfect for escaping, closing distance, or repositioning in combat.]

Jacob read the first reward and frowned. 'Nex, what's with the 24-hour expiration restriction on the strength potion?'

[I gave you that reward so you will gain some strength before fighting R'hllor. I don't want you to save it for later. Demons are dangerous, and you should take them more seriously. They are born with immense magical powers and physical durability. So when you fight R'hllor, use your full strength and don't hold back. And don't think of torturing him—just go for the kill.]

'Don't worry. I won't play around.'

He read the second reward and thought with a relieved smile, 'The Domain Sense is a good reward. With it, I never have to worry about an enemy launching a stealth attack on my kingdom while I'm completely oblivious again. Thanks, Nex.'

[You're welcome.]

He read the third reward and thought, 'Blink is useless for me, Lydia, and Sansa, but it's a good ability for the rest of the girls to have.'

'Nex, merge the Domain Sense ability into my body.'

[Are you sure, Host?]

'Yes.'

Soon Jacob felt a connection with all the territories he had conquered in Westeros, and he also felt a connection with Meereen.

[Ability has been merged successfully.]

'Perfect. Now if anyone—R'hllor or any other creature or army—attacks my territory, I'll sense it immediately and know the location.'

He addressed the system. 'Okay, now show me what kind of bloodlines Cora can receive.'

Jacob read the three bloodlines and thought, 'I've never heard of the Abyss Wolf. Nex, how powerful can the Abyss Wolf grow?'

[Full-grown Abyss Wolves can equally fight full-grown dragons. And I mean powerful dragons like you—not the weak ones.]

'Then it's decided. That's the best bloodline for Cora.'

Soon Cora woke up. After they ate something, Jacob told her about the three bloodlines, and she chose the Abyss Wolf bloodline.

After Jacob gave her the bloodline and waited for her to finish merging it into her body, they teleported to the training ground and sparred for a while so Cora could get used to her new strength and abilities.

Then Cora tried her beast form and shifted into a giant black wolf with white fur on her chest and face. Her form swelled until she stood a staggering seven meters tall at the shoulders. From her nose to the tip of her tail, she measured nearly fourteen meters in length. Her eyes were no longer yellow—they glowed red.

Jacob admired her wolf form. "You look good in your wolf form. And you've become an Alpha."

Cora's voice was a deep, monstrous rumble. "I feel so strong." She lowered her giant head to him and nudged him with her nose. "Thank you."

Jacob smiled. "You're welcome, love. Now go show your mother and brother. They're in the palace."

Cora said excitedly, "Okay!" Then she disappeared.

Left alone on the training field, Jacob sat down cross-legged on the grass. He reached into his pocket dimension, retrieved the glowing vial of the Potion of Doubled Might, and drank the entire contents in a single gulp. Instantly, he felt his body become warm as his strength grew. After half an hour, he stood up, clenching his fist. "I feel so much more powerful."

He trained alone to get used to his new strength until Cora came back.

She was in her humanoid wolf form, wearing a black shirt and jeans. She offered him a bright, playful smile. "How do I look?"

Jacob stared wide-eyed. "Gorgeous." Then he gave her a perverted smirk and walked to her. "Tell you what... let's head back to your room and find out exactly what this hybrid form can do."

Without waiting for her to argue, he carried her and teleported them both to her room.

They spent the next three hours indulging in an aggressive, highly passionate lovemaking session within the privacy of her room. Afterward, they took a long, steaming shower together. Then Jacob put on his clothes and went to visit Kai and the samurai, telling them to get ready for war.
