Chapter 224: Scott's Return
July 28
Jacob appeared in Serendell's private living room, a satisfied smile still lingering on his face. The promise of Daenerys's answer tomorrow left him in a good mood.
His wives were all gathered there—Allison lounging on the couch with her eyes closed, Lydia curled up with a book, Melissa sipping tea while reviewing documents, Malia watching an animal documentary on the massive screen, and Sansa seated gracefully on a cushioned chair, scrolling through her phone. Kitty was curled in Malia's lap, equally absorbed in her own phone.
He moved through the room, kissing each of his wives in turn. Then he rubbed Kitty's head affectionately, earning a pleased purr, and settled into his favorite recliner with a contented sigh.
Allison raised an eyebrow. "You look happy. What happened?"
Jacob's smile widened. "I helped Olenna Tyrell save her children, and she pledged her allegiance to me."
Sansa's eyes went wide. "You're serious? We spent a month just convincing a handful of lords to join us, and you went to play in King's Landing and ended up conquering the Reach?"
Jacob shrugged with mock modesty. "Yeah. It was almost too easy. Honestly, I owe that crazy bitch Cersei a thank you—she did half the work by throwing Olenna's grandchildren in prison."
Lydia's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "That's not why you're happy, though. I can feel it."
Allison leaned forward, her gaze piercing. "Yeah. Did you agree to marry her granddaughter?"
Jacob shook his head. "No. Although Olenna asked me to marry Margaery, I refused."
Malia, who hadn't looked away from the documentary about lions, spoke with a knowing smirk. "But there's a woman's scent all over you."
Allison and Lydia both fixed him with pointed glares.
Jacob coughed awkwardly, running a hand through his hair. "Don't look at me like that. The scent belongs to Daenerys, and I already told you about her."
Lydia sighed, setting down her book. "There's no need to ask if you're going to marry her, because we all know you will. But when are you going to introduce her to us?"
Jacob said, "Not yet. I asked her to marry me, but she hasn't given me an answer yet."
Sansa frowned. "And who does she think she is to keep you waiting for her answer?"
Jacob said, "Well, she's a queen, and her life goal has been to win the Iron Throne. She needs to think before she agrees to marry me, because that will mean giving up her ambition." He paused, a confident smile returning. "Anyway, I'm pretty sure she'll agree tomorrow." He shifted the conversation. "Now, tell me what you girls did today."
Allison and Sansa shared a look, then launched into their account of the day. They had visited House Reed of Greywater Watch, and Howland Reed had agreed to join their kingdom. Sansa would bring him to the Wall when the other lords arrived to meet Jacob.
Melissa spoke next, her voice warm with satisfaction. "I spent the day healing the Free Folk, and I helped a giant woman give birth today—it was quite an experience."
They continued talking, the warmth of family filling the room. Eventually, they moved to the dining room for dinner with the rest of the family—Chris, Victoria, Stiles, Erica, Shireen, Arya, Noah, and Natalie.
After dinner, Jacob and his wives teleported to Beacon Hills with Kitty, Arya, and Shireen. From there, Jacob teleported them all to San Francisco.
The sun was still out, nearing sunset, painting the sky in shades of orange and gold. They strolled through the city, shopping and enjoying the evening. Jacob took them to a movie theater, where they watched The Hunger Games.
As they returned to Serendell, Allison whispered in Jacob's ear, her breath warm against his skin. "Give me thirty minutes, then come to my room."
She teleported away before he could respond.
Jacob decided to visit Saphira, spending a peaceful thirty minutes with her before teleporting to Allison's door and knocking.
"Come in," Allison's voice called.
He stepped inside and found Allison dressed as Harley Quinn. Her hair was pulled into two high, messy pigtails—bright pink on the right, blue on the left. Her makeup matched perfectly: blue shadow with a teardrop under her right eye, pink shadow with a teardrop under her left, and a small black heart on her left cheek. Her lips were painted a striking red. She wore a tight, split-colored bodysuit—black on one side, red on the other—with subtle diamond patterns on the sleeves. A white jester collar with small pom-poms completed the look.
She smiled, her tone teasing. "How do I look, Mr. J?"
Jacob closed the door behind him and crossed the room in three quick strides. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. "You look gorgeous."
He kissed her deeply, and she melted into him.
When they finally broke apart, Allison said, "Let's have some fun—and you don't have to act like the Joker. You tend to go out of control, and I don't like that."
Jacob's smiled. "Deal."
With that, the two of them shared a wild, passionate, and unforgettable night together.

---
Jacob woke the next morning to find Allison still deeply asleep beside him, her hair a wild tangle of pink and blue against the pillow. He looked around the room—clothes scattered everywhere, pillows on the floor, a lamp knocked askew—and shook his head with a smile.
"Last night was crazy," he murmured.
He checked the time and found that it was still three hours until morning in Meereen. The Great Games wouldn't start until midday, so he had some time to relax.
He focused on the system, remembering that he still had a quest sign-in.
'System, do a daily sign-in first.'
[Daily Sign-In Successful. Rewards Obtained:
1️⃣ 50,000 Coins
2️⃣ Luxurious Natural Diamond Sets x10 — Each set worth $2,000,000 and includes earrings, a bracelet, and a necklace.
3️⃣ Captain Marvel's Bath Water, 20 Liters]
Jacob ignored the coins and read the second reward. 'Ten diamond sets worth a total of twenty million. That's a generous reward, system. And the girls will love it.'
He read the third reward and grimaced. 'Seriously? System, enough with the disgusting rewards already. I should remember to get rid of that disgusting water again.'
He sighed. 'Alright, do the quest sign-in.'
[Quest: Saving Olenna Tyrell's Grandchildren — Successful. Rewards Obtained:
1️⃣ Sling Ring — Modified Version (MCU) x20: A mystical ring that allows the user to open portals to any location they can clearly visualize. Must be bound to its user with blood—once bound, it cannot be used by anyone else and will only respond to its owner. Unlike the standard version worn on two fingers, this ring is designed as a normal single-finger ring, making it more discreet and comfortable for everyday wear. Must be charged with supernatural energy to function.
2️⃣ Pensieve — Modified Version (Harry Potter): A wide, shallow stone basin carved with ancient runes and filled with a silvery, luminous liquid. By placing a few drops of tears from the person whose memories you wish to view into the basin, their memories can be experienced exactly as they happened. Multiple people can enter together to view the same memory by touching the Pensieve.
3️⃣ Mandrake Seeds (The Witcher): A highly poisonous plant whose humanoid-shaped roots possess powerful magical properties. Its roots are used in the potion that maintains the longevity of sorcerers, preventing further aging. The plant is incredibly dangerous to handle fresh, as it can poison the ground around it and even be fatal to breathe in.
Use: Alchemical ingredient for longevity potions.]
Jacob read the first reward thoughtfully. 'Although the Sling Rings are useless to me and Sansa, they're great items for Allison and the others to have. It's good that they cannot be stolen, dropped, or stripped away since they can be bound by blood.'
He read the second reward. 'The Pensieve is useless. Malia, Lydia, Sansa, and I can already read memories. But it's better than a perverted reward, I guess.'
He read the last reward and nodded approvingly. 'The mandrake is a good reward. Melissa can use it to make longevity potions for the people who haven't become supernatural yet—like Allison's parents.' He sighed. 'But I'm unlucky today—all the rewards are useless to me.'
He pulled Allison closer, burying his face in her hair, and let himself drift back to sleep.
---
Three hours later, Jacob woke when he felt Allison stirring beside him.
Allison kissed him softly. "Good morning."
Jacob smiled. "Good morning, love."
She sat up, looking around the room with a mixture of embarrassment and amusement. "We were really wild yesterday."
Jacob's grin widened. "How about we have some more fun?"
Allison rolled her eyes, though she was smiling. "Go find Lydia and the others. I'm numb down there, and I need to clean up this mess."
Jacob sat up. "I'll help."
Together, they cleaned the room and took a long shower. When they finally emerged, dressed and refreshed, they teleported to the dining room.
The dining room was empty. Jacob and Allison had a quiet meal alone.
After finishing, they teleported to the front of the palace. They found everyone gathered outside, watching an unusual scene.
Melissa was beating Scott with her sandal.
Whack! Whack! Whack!
Scott yelped and tried to shield himself, but Melissa was relentless, her sandal finding its mark every time.
Jacob raised an eyebrow. "Well, Scott is back, but..." He turned to Stiles, who was laughing hysterically. "What happened? What did Scott do?"
Stiles wiped a tear from his eye. "Remember that biker chick he was dating? She spent all the two hundred thousand Melissa gave him, stole his bike, and ran away while he was sleeping five days ago. This morning he called me for money, but I said I had none. Then he called Melissa and asked her to pay the hotel he was staying at, and she found out everything."
Jacob shook his head. "What a dumbass."
Melissa continued hitting Scott, her voice carrying across the garden.
"How could you be so stupid?! You let that woman spend all your money, and she even stole your bike! I gave you two hundred thousand dollars to have fun, and you wasted it on some floozy! What were you thinking?! I raised you better than this! Now I'm going to teach you not to trust any woman you meet!"
Whack! Whack! Whack!
Scott, despite having drunk the Hulk serum and being practically invulnerable to normal attacks, flinched and begged for mercy. "I'm sorry, Mom! Please stop! Everyone is watching!"
"I don't care who's watching! You need to learn your lesson!"
Whack! Whack!
Scott kept apologizing. "I'm sorry! I won't do it again, I promise!"
Jacob looked at him with an evil smile. "Scott, call me Dad, and I'll help you."
Scott glared at him through his suffering. "Never!"
Melissa hit him again. "Do you still have time to talk to others while I'm punishing you?"
Scott whimpered. "I'm sorry, Mom!"
Jacob's smile widened. He reached into his pocket dimension and pulled out a glass shoe. "Mel, here. Use this. It's really hard and indestructible."
He tossed it to her. She caught it and hit Scott with it.
This time, he definitely felt it.
"OW! That hurt!" Scott screamed, clutching his arm.
Melissa's smile turned evil. "Oh, you feel this one, don't you? Now I'm going to punish you properly for wasting money."
She hit him a few more times, and Scott felt every single strike. He begged for mercy, promising he would never do it again.
Lydia looked at Jacob. "Hey, Jay, what are those shoes you gave to Mel?"
Jacob grinned. "Cinderella's Glass Slippers. Indestructible. Magical. And apparently, perfect for disciplining idiot sons."
Lydia's eyes narrowed with curiosity. "What can they do, and how many do you have?"
Jacob said, "I only have a pair. They're comfortable, indestructible, and unlike the original, they can fit any woman. However, once put on, they cannot be removed by the wearer until she has declared her love for me and kissed me in front of at least three people."
Everyone except Melissa—who was still beating Scott—looked at Jacob with a mixture of disbelief and amusement.
Allison said, "Even Cinderella's shoes, which are supposed to fit only one woman, become perverted shoes in your hands that fit all women. And on top of that, they can't take them off unless they confess their love to you and kiss you?"
Jacob shrugged. "I know it's perverted, but I've had those shoes for months and never thought about using them on any girl. I was actually going to give them to you girls to play with, but I forgot."
Melissa finally finished punishing Scott. She kicked him hard, sending him flying a few meters into the distance, then walked to Jacob and handed him the glass shoe.
Jacob smiled. "Don't be angry. That woman taught him a lesson to never trust random women again."
Melissa sighed. "A few months ago, I couldn't even afford to pay all our bills. I don't want him to waste money just because we have it now."
Jacob said, "Don't worry. He won't do it again."
He turned to Lydia and handed her the glass shoe, then took the other one from his pocket dimension and gave it to her. "Here. You can play with them."
Lydia immediately put them on. "They're really comfortable." She tried to take them off but couldn't. "I really can't remove them."
Then she said, "I love you, Jay." She kissed him, and when she tried to take off the shoes this time, she managed to pull them off. She looked at him. "Yeah, you're never getting these perverted shoes again."
Jacob said, "I don't want them. The only thing I need to win over a woman is my handsome, charming face."
Lydia glared at him, then snorted and ignored him as she and Sansa started examining the glass shoes.
Just then, Scott walked to Melissa. "Mom, I'm really sorry. I won't do it again."
Melissa sighed. "Alright. If you do it again, I'll ask Cogman to teach you a lesson." She hugged him. "I missed you."
Scott sighed in relief. "I missed you too, Mom."
After Melissa let him go, Jacob smirked. "Son, aren't you going to hug me too?"
Scott flipped him off, then looked at Arya, Shireen, and Sansa. "Who are they?"
Jacob said, "The redhead is my wife Sansa, and the girl with short hair is her sister Arya."
Melissa called, "Shireen, come here."
Shireen ran over with a bright smile. "Yes, Melissa?"
Melissa caught her hand and looked at Scott. "This is Shireen. From now on, she is your sister."
Scott blinked. "What?"
Melissa said, "I'm going to adopt her. Do you have a problem with that?"
Scott shook his head quickly. "No, no. I was just surprised." He smiled at Shireen. "Nice to meet you, Shireen."
Shireen, who had been tense and worried that Scott might hate her, relaxed and smiled. "Nice to meet you too."
Noah said, "Alright, I need to go to work. See you guys later."
Jacob looked at him. "Wait. Is there anything weird happening in town lately? Are people still going missing?"
Noah shook his head. "No. Not since you killed that Wendigo and that Capelobo."
Jacob said, "Alright. If anything happens, let us know."
Noah said, "I will." He kissed Natalie and teleported to Beacon Hills.
Chris said, "I need to go too. I'm still training the army." After kissing his wife, he teleported to the Game of Thrones world.
Natalie and Victoria were about to leave when Allison asked, "Mom, where are you going?"
Victoria said, "Natalie and I are going to buy some books about history, political philosophy, and law codes to help Jacob write the laws of the kingdom he's trying to build."
Allison nodded. "Oh, alright. Happy shopping and happy reading."
Shireen looked at Melissa. "Can I go with them to buy some books too?"
Melissa smiled. "Sure, sweetheart."
Shireen hesitated about asking for money. Melissa rubbed her head. "You can ask me for money if you want. I beat Scott not just because he wasted a lot of money, but because he got robbed."
Shireen asked, "Can I have some money then?"
Jacob handed her twenty thousand dollars from his pocket dimension. "Give this to Victoria to pay for whatever books you want to buy."
Shireen accepted the money with a bright smile. "Thank you!" She hurried over to Victoria and Natalie, and the three of them left Serendell together.
Arya looked at Malia. "Let's go spar."
Malia shook her head. "No, let's go play video games."
Kitty said, "I'm coming too."
Jacob said, "Malia, wait. You can join them later."
Kitty and Arya teleported to the gaming room.
Jacob hugged Melissa and said, "Girls, come with me."
Stiles said, "Wait, when are you going back to Meereen? I want to go with you."
Jacob looked at him. "Really? Dany doesn't seem to like you."
Stiles said, "Why? I didn't do anything to her."
Jacob said, "It's okay if I tease her, but you can't. Other than my charming handsome face, I'm also a king, so she'll tolerate it if I joke with her. But you were teasing her yesterday like you knew her, and like she isn't a queen."
Stiles said, "Okay, I'll apologize to her, and I won't joke with her again—well, at least until we get to know each other. So can you take me with you?"
Jacob said, "Alright. We'll leave after I talk to my wives."
With that, Jacob and his wives teleported to their private living room.
---
They sat down, and Lydia immediately got to the point. "So, what do you want to talk to us about? Is there another new wife other than Daenerys you want to tell us about?"
Jacob shook his head. "No, not for the moment." He took five delicate jewelry boxes and put them on the table. "I have gifts for you."
They each took a box and opened it. Inside was a diamond set—earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet. Each set had a different design.
Jacob said, "Each set is worth two million dollars."
Allison's eyes widened. "They're beautiful. Thank you."
They all thanked him, even Malia, who rarely cared about jewelry but couldn't hide her appreciation for the elegant pieces.
Then Jacob took out four Sling Rings. "Okay, put those down. Here is my real gift."
They looked at the rings in his hand. Malia asked, "What are those rings?"
Jacob said, "They're called Sling Rings. These rings allow the user to open portals to any location they can clearly visualize. The ring must be bound to its user with blood—once bound, it cannot be used by anyone else and will only respond to its owner. You must channel your supernatural energy into it for it to function."
He gave one to Allison, Lydia, Malia, and Melissa. "Sansa and I don't need them. Our teleportation ability is far superior to these rings."
Lydia said, "I can teleport too. Should I have one?"
Melissa said, "I can also teleport between trees."
Jacob explained, "Your teleportation is not like mine and Sansa's. You two can only teleport short distances. These rings can allow you to travel interplanetary distances. The range depends entirely on focus, mental visualization of the destination, and your skill in using the rings."
Lydia, Malia, Allison, and Melissa thanked him with a kiss, then dropped their blood on the rings and bonded with them. The knowledge of how to use the rings passed to them from the rings.
Malia stood up excitedly, waved her hand in a circle, and a portal with golden edges appeared in front of her. She passed through it and teleported outside the palace.
Allison, Lydia, and Melissa did the same, each appearing in different parts of Serendell.
Jacob looked at Sansa. "I still have a ring if you want it."
Sansa smiled. "No. Like you said, my teleportation ability is better than the ring. Keep it. Me having it would just be a waste."
Jacob waved his hand, and Sansa flew to him with a yelp. He hugged her and kissed her deeply. They stayed there talking until Allison and the others returned from playing with the rings.
Jacob asked, "What are you going to do today?"
Melissa said, "I need to go check on the hospital in Beacon Hills."
Lydia said, "Sansa, Erica, and I are staying home today. We're binge-watching the first two seasons of Downton Abbey."
Jacob wrinkled his nose. "Ugh. Sounds like fun."
Lydia beamed. "It is! Want to join us?"
Jacob shook his head quickly. "No thanks. I'm good."
Allison said, "I spent the last month traveling the North, so right now, all I want is to stay home, play some video games with Malia, and watch anime."
Jacob said, "Alright, have fun then, all of you." He stood up and smirked. "I need to go save Dany."
Allison asked, "Save her? Isn't she a queen with three dragons?"
Jacob shook his head. "One of her dragons ran off, and the other two she kept imprisoned, and they don't listen to her. And she freed the slaves in Meereen, so the slave masters all hate her. She's in real danger, and I'm not even joking."
Allison said, "Alright, go have fun then."
Malia said, "If there's a fight, remember to call me."
Jacob said, "Her enemies are just weaklings."
Malia said, "Still, I want to play with them."
Jacob said, "Alright, I'll call you." He kissed them all, then teleported to his room and changed into his noble Westerosi outfit—dark dragon-like leather and fine fabric, with his sword Griffin at his waist.
He teleported to the garden in front of the palace and found Stiles and Scott waiting for him with Cogman.
Jacob looked at Cogman. "Are you done with the satellites and weapons?"
Cogman nodded. "Yes, sir. I've already launched the satellites, and now you can use phones in Lady Sansa's world. The weapons are done—more than enough to arm fifty thousand men. And I built robots that can build more weapons for us if we need them."
Jacob said, "Although I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to launch rockets into the sky, you did a great job. As a reward, some idiots are going to try to kill your new lady, and I will take you with me to kill them."
Cogman smiled happily, his expression chilling. "Thank you, sir. You are the best."
Jacob looked at Scott. "Are you coming?"
Scott nodded. "Yes."
Jacob put an arm around his shoulder. "As your father, I'll do you a solid favor. There's a pretty girl by Dany's side. If you play your cards right, you might win her love."
Scott heard "pretty girl" and didn't even bother to get angry at Jacob for calling himself his father. He asked, "Is she really pretty?"
Stiles said, "Are you talking about Missandei?"
Jacob nodded. "Yeah."
Stiles smirked. "Well, she is beautiful indeed. But I don't think Scott can get her."
Scott glared at him, then looked at Jacob. "What should I do?"
Jacob said, "You have to act like a real man. And if they get attacked later, you have to save her and kill for her."
Scott hesitated, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.
Jacob said, "Don't worry. The people trying to kill her aren't good people. They're fighting Dany because they want to bring slavery back, and they're butchering her soldiers and freedmen in the streets like cattle."
Scott's expression firmed. "Alright. I'll kill if I have to."
Jacob patted him hard on the back, making him stumble forward, and laughed. "That's my son!"
Scott muttered, "Damn it," but he didn't argue with Jacob.
Jacob took a noble Westerosi outfit and gave it to him. "Wear this."
After Scott changed, Jacob opened a portal to Meereen. The four of them walked through it and appeared in a back street of Meereen, heading toward Daznak's Pit with the people of Meereen, who kept glancing at them.
Just then, a system window appeared in front of Jacob's eyes.
[Location Sign-In Available: Host can sign in at Daznak's Pit.]
Jacob smirked. 'Great.'
Chapter 225: Daznak's Pit – Part 1
July 30
Jacob and his group made their way into Daznak's Pit, finding seats amidst the restless crowd. The arena stretched before them like a great stone bowl, carved into the earth and packed with thousands of Meereenese—freedmen, merchants, nobles, and visitors from distant lands. The air hummed with excitement and anticipation.
Jacob contacted Malia telepathically. [Hey Malia, change your clothes quickly. There are some death matches here that you are going to love.]
Malia, who was playing video games with Allison, Arya, and Kitty, replied excitedly. [Okay, I'll change my clothes right away.]
Soon, she contacted him again, and he teleported to Serendell and brought her to Daznak's Pit. She joined them in watching the fun, though it hadn't started yet.
Malia looked around the arena with wide eyes, taking in the massive structure and the sea of people. "This place is huge."
---
Daenerys stood with her people—Tyrion, Missandei, Grey Worm, and Daario—in the preparation area. She wore a flowing white dress that made her look every inch the queen she was. Her silver-gold hair was braided elegantly, and her expression was one of cool composure that masked her inner turmoil.
She looked at Daario, her voice flat. "Remember, don't get too close to me."
Daario's brow furrowed. "Why?"
Daenerys's voice was firm. "He might kill you."
Daario scoffed, his hand moving to his sword hilt. "I'm willing to die for you."
Daenerys shook her head, her eyes softening with something like pity. "Whatever was between us is over. Don't die a meaningless death."
She took a deep breath, steeling herself. "Let's go."
Tyrion fell into step beside her, his voice low. "You still haven't told me if you've made a decision."
Daenerys's voice was thoughtful. "I thought about it a lot all night."
Tyrion pressed. "And?"
Daenerys sighed. "I'm not sure yet. Meereen isn't my home, and I want to go to Westeros. But with him there, there's no way I can win. The only option is to accept his offer, but..." She paused, her expression conflicted. "I'll make a decision during the games."
They entered the arena and made their way to the royal box. The crowd roared as they appeared—some cheering, some silent, some watching with cold, calculating eyes.
Daenerys took her seat. Missandei sat on her left, Tyrion on her right, but an empty chair had been left between her and Tyrion. Daario positioned himself behind her, and Grey Worm and a few Unsullied surrounded them.
Hizdahr zo Loraq appeared and took the empty seat next to Daenerys. His smile was smooth, practiced.
Daenerys glanced at him. "Where have you been?"
Hizdahr's smile didn't waver. "Just making sure everything is in order."
Daenerys ignored him and began searching the crowd for Jacob, her eyes scanning the thousands of faces. But she couldn't find him.
---
High above on the opposite side of the pit, Jacob stood with Malia and the others among the crowd. Malia watched a horse show in the arena, then her gaze drifted to where Daenerys was sitting.
"Is that Daenerys?" she asked, her eyes narrowing with interest.
Jacob was also staring at Daenerys. "Yes."
Malia's brow furrowed. "Does she have powers? Is she a dragon?"
Jacob shook his head. "She's not a dragon, but she's immune to fire and can control wyverns."
Malia looked confused. "I thought she calls herself the Mother of Dragons and the Dragon Queen because she's a dragon herself."
Jacob chuckled. "Nah. She calls herself that because she has three wyverns."
Malia shrugged, losing interest. "So when are the fights going to start?"
Jacob looked at the arena, where an announcer was giving a speech in Valyrian. Two warriors entered the arena, their weapons gleaming. "Soon."
Scott pointed to the royal box. "Is that Missandei sitting next to your new wife?"
Jacob nodded. "Yes. What do you think?"
Scott studied Missandei for a moment, his expression thoughtful. "Well, she's pretty. I would like to date her."
Jacob smiled. "Good luck, then."
Just then, Daenerys clapped her hands, and the fighting began.
Malia grinned. "Finally, they started."
Cogman stood next to Malia, his eyes gleaming with interest. "Wonderful. Who do you think will win, my lady?"
Malia studied the two fighters—one large and brutish, the other smaller and quicker. "The bigger one, of course."
Cogman's eyes flickered with amusement. "I think the smaller one might have a chance."
Jacob ignored everything and focused on the system.
'System, do the location sign-in.'
[Sign-In at Daznak's Pit — Successful. Rewards Obtained:
1️⃣ Grandmaster's Melt Stick (MCU): A powerful technological staff used by the Grandmaster of Sakaar as an execution tool. When activated, the staff instantly liquefies any living being it touches, reducing them to a puddle of organic matter.
Limitation: The staff only works on organic matter—it does not affect inorganic materials or constructs. The user must strike the target directly with the staff's tip. Furthermore, the staff cannot melt creatures with high supernatural energy; to melt those creatures, the user must first make them consume most of their supernatural energy.
2️⃣ Energy Projection – Sonya Blade's Arcana (Mortal Kombat): The ability to shoot energy rings or destructive blasts from your arms.
3️⃣ Firebolt (Harry Potter): A top-of-the-line racing broom. It accelerates from 0 to 150 mph in 10 seconds, responds to thought rather than touch. Features an unbreakable braking charm and exceptional balance and precision.]
Jacob read the first reward and raised a brow. 'Nice weapon. If I ever fight someone that can't be killed by elemental powers or ordinary means, I'll turn them to mush after beating them until they lose all their supernatural energy—if they had any. Like Thanos—he doesn't have supernatural energy, probably. Maybe I can melt him without even beating him first.'
He smiled at the memory of the Grandmaster. 'He was a fun character. I hope I meet him—the MCU version, though. I hope the comic version isn't real. He's way too OP in the comics. But powers like the ones he had in the comics aren't real anyway, so it should be just the funny dude from the MCU.'
He read the second reward and nodded to himself in satisfaction. 'That's a great reward.'
He read the last reward and shook his head. 'Useless. I can already fly, and sitting on a broom sounds uncomfortable.'
He said in his mind, 'System, fuse the Energy Projection ability into my body.'
[Are you sure, Host?]
'Yes.'
He felt a warm current flow through his body, slowly settling into his very being.
[Ability has been successfully merged.]
Jacob raised his hand, and seven rings made of purple light appeared around his wrist, spinning lazily. He smiled and dismissed them.
He realized that Scott and Stiles were staring at him.
Jacob raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Stiles asked, "What were those purple rings?"
Jacob shrugged. "Just a new ability." He turned back to watch the fight in the arena.
Soon, his eyes drifted back to Daenerys. He saw Daario leaning forward between her and Hizdahr zo Loraq, saying something with a smile on his face. The sellsword's hand was on the back of Daenerys's chair, his face too close to hers.
Jacob didn't like that. Since he had decided Daenerys was his, no man should be that close to her—especially one she had feelings for.
He made a choking gesture with his hand.
Daario, who had been talking and smiling, suddenly began to choke. He clawed at his neck as if an invisible hand was squeezing his throat, then fell to the ground, gasping.
Daenerys and Hizdahr were both startled. Soon, Tyrion, Missandei, and Grey Worm noticed too.
Hizdahr leaned forward. "What's wrong with him?"
Tyrion looked at Daario, then at the panicked Daenerys. "He warned you, didn't he? But you still let this fool get close to you while smiling and talking in your ear."
Daenerys's eyes widened. "You mean this is Jacob's doing?"
Tyrion's voice was dry. "What do you think?"
Daenerys looked at Daario, who was about to die. She scanned the crowd, but couldn't see Jacob. She shouted, "Stop! You've made your point!"
Jacob heard her clearly over the roar of the crowd and released Daario from his telekinetic grip.
Daario took a deep breath and sat up, breathing roughly while coughing violently.
Daenerys's voice was cold. "I told you to stay away from me."
Daario coughed, trying to speak, but she waved him off.
"Go stand next to Grey Worm and don't get near me again. I can't guarantee he will spare you next time."
Daario stood up, looking at Daenerys with a mixture of hurt and confusion.
Tyrion's voice was sharp. "Are you trying to waste Her Grace's kindness and get yourself killed? Go away, you fool."
Daario sighed and backed away, standing next to Grey Worm a few meters from Daenerys. He began scanning the arena, searching for whoever had attacked him.
Hizdahr was still panicking. He looked at Daenerys. "Who is Jacob? What's going on?"
Daenerys's voice was cold. "You would do well not to ask about things that do not concern you."
Just then, the fight ended with the larger warrior beheading the smaller one. Daenerys stared at the scene. She didn't like it, but she didn't say anything.
Tyrion frowned and shifted uncomfortably in his chair, looking away from the bloody scene.
Hizdahr forgot about Jacob, smiling in satisfaction at the brutal scene. He looked at Tyrion. "You don't approve?"
Tyrion met his gaze, his voice flat. "There's always been more than enough death in the world for my taste. I can do without it in my leisure time."
Hizdahr said, "Fair enough. Yet it's an unpleasant question, but what great thing has ever been accomplished without killing or cruelty?"
Tyrion said, "It's easy to confuse what is with what ought to be, especially when what is has worked out in your favor."
Hizdahr said, "I'm not talking about myself. I'm talking about the necessary conditions for greatness."
Daenerys nodded at the arena, where a few people were dragging the headless corpse and covering the blood with sand. Her voice was cold. "That is greatness?"
Hizdahr turned to her. "That is a vital part of the great city of Meereen, which existed long before you or I and will remain standing long after we have returned to the dirt."
Tyrion muttered, "My father would have liked you."
Drums thundered across the arena as the announcer stepped into the center and addressed the crowd once more in Valyrian. Moments later, several warriors made their way into the pit.
Daenerys looked at Hizdahr. "One day, your great city will return to the dirt as well."
Hizdahr's smirk was infuriating. "At your command?"
Daenerys's voice was flat. "If need be."
Hizdahr pressed. "And how many people will die to make this happen?"
Daenerys said, "If it comes to that, they will have died for a good reason."
Hizdahr pointed at the warriors in the arena. "Those men think they're dying for a good reason."
Daenerys's voice was sharp. "Someone else's reason."
Hizdahr challenged her. "So your reasons are true and theirs are false? They don't know their own minds, but you do?"
Tyrion interjected, his voice dry. "Well said. You're an eloquent man. Doesn't mean you're wrong. In my experience, eloquent men are right every bit as often as imbeciles."
Daenerys's attention was suddenly caught by a familiar voice. She turned to the arena and saw Jorah Mormont speaking in Valyrian, expressing his honor at meeting her.
Daenerys was shocked at first. After hesitating for a few moments, she clapped her hands to start the battle royale.
Jorah Mormont ended up winning.
---
Back with Jacob and his group
Jacob frowned. 'They're too many simps around Dany. Should I kill them?'
Malia said, "Jay, someone's about to attack your new wife."
Jacob's expression didn't change. "I know. Let's do nothing for now. Let's wait until she calls for me. But if anyone is stupid enough to attack us, you can kill them."
Jorah suddenly picked up a spear and aimed at Daenerys. He threw it in her direction. She panicked, and Grey Worm came running toward her, but the spear hit one of the masked Sons of the Harpy behind her instead.
Chaos erupted in the arena.
The Sons of the Harpy attacked from all sides. From the crowd, many men put on golden masks with horns and began killing everyone around them.
Some attacked Jacob's group, but he didn't even look at them. Cogman, Stiles, and Malia dealt with them when they got close, their movements efficient and brutal.
Jacob's eyes were fixed on Daenerys, ready to teleport to save her if she was truly in danger.
Scott watched as a masked man tried to kill Missandei but got killed by Tyrion instead. "Should we go save them?"
Jacob shook his head. "Not yet."
The chaos continued. Hizdahr zo Loraq was stabbed to death. Daenerys and her people descended to the arena floor and stood at the center, the Unsullied guarding them. Since Jacob had warned her that something might go wrong during the Great Games, Daenerys had brought a large number of Unsullied with her.
The Sons of the Harpy surrounded them. Seeing the number of Unsullied, they stopped killing the crowd and focused on Daenerys and her people.
They began descending into the arena, surrounding Daenerys and her people from all sides, their numbers growing by the second.
Tyrion looked at Daenerys. "Aren't you going to call him?" He pointed to where Jacob was standing. "He's over there."
Daenerys looked. Now she could finally see Jacob, as the area around him was a death zone—any Son of the Harpy that got close to him was slaughtered by Cogman, Malia, and Stiles.
But she still didn't ask for his help. She caught Missandei's hand and looked around at the Sons of the Harpy attacking and killing her soldiers, trying to get to her. She closed her eyes and tried hard to contact her dragon, Drogon.
A few moments later, everyone stopped as they heard a loud roar.
Stiles looked around. "What is that sound? A giant goose?"
Jacob smiled. "No. That's Dany's wyvern."
Just then, a ball of flame appeared at the edge of the arena wall, and Drogon flew through it. Everyone saw him.
Stiles's eyes widened. "That's a cool entrance. But isn't he too small? Kisarax could eat him in one bite."
Jacob nodded. "Well, he's only four years old."
Malia killed one of the Sons of the Harpy with electricity and said, "My wyvern Storm, and our other wyverns, are now the size of horses, and they're only a month old."
Jacob said, "They're living in Serendell, which is filled with magical energy, and they have bonds with us. They will naturally grow faster and stronger than the wyverns living in this world. And they're two and a half months old, not a month."
Malia looked at Drogon flying inside the arena in circles and smiled. "I think you can't play the hero saving the beauty now that her wyvern has arrived. Do you want me to help you kidnap her?"
Jacob shook his head. "No. Her wyvern isn't strong enough. It can't save her."
---
Drogon landed and began burning the Sons of the Harpy and biting them in half while Daenerys watched happily and proudly.
But her happiness didn't last long. One of the Sons of the Harpy threw a spear at Drogon. The spear stabbed deep into Drogon's side, making him screech in pain. He turned and burned the man, but the damage was done.
The Sons of the Harpy, who had been running and panicking, realized they could hurt the beast. They stopped and began throwing their spears at Drogon, managing to riddle his body with spears while he roared in pain and burned them.
Daenerys panicked and walked toward him without care, trying to remove the spears from his body.
She removed one, but Drogon turned to her and roared. When he realized it was her, he stopped, and the two of them just stared at each other for a few moments.
That gave the Sons of the Harpy a chance to get closer and shoot multiple spears at Drogon, piercing his body and sending him into a rampage. He began burning and biting them again, but they kept hitting him with spears.
Malia said, "That wyvern is way too weak. If you don't help, it's going to die."
Jacob's voice was calm. "She only needs to ask for my help. As for her wyvern, I can always heal him."
Drogon fought on, but his strength was fading. Spears stuck out from his body like quills, and soon he could barely move.
Daenerys ran to him, tears streaming down her face, as he collapsed to the ground. He could only lift his head enough to burn the Sons of the Harpy who were foolish enough to approach.
She stood beside her him, heartbroken—and made her choice. She looked up at Jacob, still standing high in the stands, and screamed, "I accept! Help me!"
---
Jacob smirked and said, "Cogman, make sure none of these bastards that tried to kill your lady leave this arena alive."
Cogman's grin widened with unsettling delight. "With pleasure, sir."
Jacob looked at Malia, Stiles, and Scott and said, "You can now do whatever you want."
With that, Jacob disappeared.
He appeared next to Daenerys, ignoring the Sons of the Harpy who had turned their attention from the injured Drogon and were now surrounding her.
The Sons of the Harpy froze, startled by the man who appeared out of thin air before them.
Jacob raised Daenerys's chin gently, making her look at him. "You took your time to call for my help."
Daenerys blushed, her heart racing. Then she glared at him. "You got what you wanted. Now can you deal with these bastards already?"
Jacob's smile was infuriatingly calm. "Is that how you ask your husband to do something for you?"
Daenerys's voice was sharp. "What do you want?"
Jacob's eyes gleamed. "Give me a kiss, love, and I will kill every last one of them."
Daenerys's breath quickened, and her blush deepened. Her voice was filled with frustration. "I hate you."
Jacob's smile didn't waver. "No, you're not. I can tell you're lying." He leaned in and whispered in her ear. "What you really want is to take me back to your chambers and—"
Daenerys pushed him away. "Shut up!"
Jacob laughed, utterly unbothered. He spared the Sons of the Harpy only a brief glance before turning back to her. "I'm still waiting for my kiss."
Daenerys's face cycled through anger, embarrassment, and back to anger.
With a frustrated sigh, wrapped her arms around him, and gave him a deep kiss that lasted for several seconds.
After they separated, she was panting. She glared at him. "Are you satisfied now?"
Jacob smiled. "Very. But I only asked you for a kiss on the cheek. I didn't ask you for a deep kiss, and you even used your tongue, you pervert."
Daenerys stomped her foot. "Damn it! I hate you!"
Jacob grinned. "You keep saying that, but your face is telling a different story. You've already fallen for me, haven't you?"
Her blush deepened. "I have not! I hate you!"
Jacob chuckled. "Well, well—looks like I've got myself a tsundere."
Just then, one of the Sons of the Harpy attacked Jacob with a dagger.
Jacob turned to him, his voice flat. "You seem in a hurry to die."
He raised his hand, and electricity shot from it, shocking the man to death. The electricity spread to the rest of the surrounding Sons of the Harpy, killing them all instantly.
Daenerys stared at the bodies, then back at Jacob, her eyes wide. "Just what kind of creature are you?"
Jacob turned to her, his eyes meeting hers. "I'm a dragon."
Chapter 226: Daznak's Pit – Part 2
August 2
Daenerys stared at the corpses Jacob had just killed with lightning, her eyes wide with shock. She turned to him, her voice barely above a whisper. "Just what kind of creature are you?"
Jacob's eyes met hers. "I'm a dragon."
Daenerys frowned but didn't think too much about it. She, too, called herself a dragon—she assumed it was merely a title.
Another group of Sons of the Harpy came charging at them. They screamed battle cries in Meereenese Valyrian, their weapons raised.
Jacob smirked. "You guys are brave. I'll give you that." He drew his sword. "Or just stupid."
He waved his sword using his wind element, and a cyan wind slash flew from the blade, decapitating five men at once. He waved a few more times, sending a wind slash each time, killing groups of them until all forty charging Sons of the Harpy lay dead.
But another wave was already coming, throwing their spears at him.
Jacob waved his hand using his telekinesis, and the spears reversed course, killing the men who had thrown them.
The Sons of the Harpy didn't stop. They kept charging at him despite seeing his powers, their devotion to their cause overriding their survival instinct.
Jacob saw Malia behind them and ignored them entirely. He sheathed his sword and turned to Daenerys. "These guys really hate you. They don't even care about their lives."
Daenerys saw the charging Sons of the Harpy behind Jacob and panicked. "They're still coming! K-kill them!"
Jacob's voice was calm. "Don't worry. Look behind them."
Daenerys looked and saw a woman wearing clothes like Jacob's, tearing through the Sons of the Harpy with brutal efficiency. Her claws ripped through flesh and bone, and lightning crackled around her hands, arcing between her victims.
Daenerys's eyes widened. "Who is that woman? She has powers like yours."
Jacob smiled. "That's your sister. Malia."
Daenerys frowned. "My sister?"
Jacob said, "She's my wife."
Daenerys stared at Malia in shock as she tore through the Sons of the Harpy with ease, killing a man with each slash of her claws and using the Firaga spell to incinerate dozens at once.
Daenerys grew anxious and insecure seeing Malia's powers.
Jacob felt her anxiety and hugged her, whispering in her ear. "Don't worry. I'll make you strong too."
Daenerys turned to him, her voice hopeful. "Will I have powers like hers?"
Jacob nodded. "Yes."
Daenerys realized she was being hugged, her face too close to his, and started blushing again. Her heart began beating like crazy, and she thought, 'Damn it. What is happening to me around this man? And what's with all the obscene thoughts I get every time I look at his stupid, handsome face?'
She began pushing him to release her, but he leaned in and kissed her on the lips, making her mind go blank. She returned his kiss without thinking.
They didn't stop until Malia stood beside them, smirking. "Hey, perverts."
Daenerys came back to her senses and pushed Jacob away, looking at Malia with embarrassment.
Jacob smiled at Malia. "Are you done having fun?"
Malia shook her head. "No. I just wanted to meet my new sister before I continued killing the masked idiots."
She offered her hand to Daenerys. "Hi. I'm Malia."
Daenerys hesitated for a second, then shook her hand. "I'm Daenerys. Nice to meet you."
Malia's smile was genuine. "Okay, we'll get to know each other later. I want to go have fun now." She gave Daenerys an amused look. "Your wyvern is dying, so if you're done sucking on Jay's lips, you might want to ask him to heal it."
She ran off after the Sons of the Harpy, lightning crackling around her hands.
Daenerys remembered Drogon and panicked. She caught Jacob's hand. "Please heal Drogon!"
Jacob's voice was reassuring. "Don't worry. He'll be fine."
They walked to Drogon, who was now laying on the ground unable to move, his massive body riddled with spears. Blood pooled beneath him, and his breathing was labored.
Jacob waved his hand, and all the spears on Drogon's body were removed, falling to the ground with a clatter. He waved his hand again, and a white light shot from his palm, enveloping Drogon's entire body.
Seconds later, the light dissipated, and Drogon stood up completely healed. He roared—a sound of renewed strength—he looked at Daenerys for a few seconds. Then he turned to Jacob and eyed him warily, then turned to fly away.
Jacob said, "Hold on a second. Where do you think you're going?"
He waved his hand, and Drogon was frozen in place by his telekinesis.
Daenerys's voice was sharp. "What are you doing?"
Jacob's expression was serious. "I want to make a contract with him."
Daenerys frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Jacob explained. "It will make him loyal to me and my family. That means you too. But most importantly, it will make him grow strong."
Daenerys's eyes narrowed. "Dragons aren't slaves."
Jacob's voice was calm but firm. "Didn't you hear me? I want to make him strong. Stronger than all his ancestors. But he has to be loyal to me and my family. This way, he can roam free, and we don't have to worry about him killing people without our permission or him escaping." He looked at her. "And I know this may hurt, but if you don't think dragons are slaves, then why did you chain his siblings in the Great Pyramid?"
Daenerys sighed, her eyes filling with pain. "I consider the three of them my children. But Drogon killed a little girl and fled into the wild. I realized they were growing too large and too dangerous to roam freely, so I made the choice to chain up my remaining two children to protect my citizens." Her voice cracked, tears welling. "That decision broke my heart. Rhaegal and Viserion hate me now."
Jacob hugged her. "If I make a contract with them, they can roam free and we don't have to worry about them hurting people. And they can live safely in our home—Serendell."
Daenerys's voice was doubtful. "Why would your home be dangerous for them?"
Jacob said, "Because of Kisarax. Let's just say she has some dark cravings. If your children don't have a bond with me, she might eat them when I'm not around."
Daenerys frowned, confused.
Jacob said, "You'll see her later. Now, let me make the contract with Drogon."
He walked to Drogon and stood in front of his head, looking him in the eyes.
Drogon, still frozen in place, let out an angry growl.
Jacob's eyes glowed red, and he released a fraction of his dragon aura—enough to scare Drogon.
Drogon felt deep primal fear from the depths of his soul. He didn't dare meet Jacob's eyes.
Jacob stepped forward and released Drogon from his telekinesis. Drogon didn't flee.
Jacob placed his palm flat against Drogon's snout, making him flinch, and spoke in High Valyrian.
"Dohaerās, Drogon," he said with absolute authority. "Dohaerās naejot nyke."
(Serve, Drogon. Serve me.)
Drogon let out a soft growl and lay submissively in front of Jacob.
Jacob reached out to the system. 'System, help me make a contract with Drogon.'
A tattoo appeared on the palm of his right hand, glowing faintly red. He pressed his hand against Drogon's forehead.
A red light spread from his palm and covered Drogon's entire head before disappearing. A screen appeared before Jacob's eyes.
[Contract Successful. Drogon is now loyal to you, your wives, and people who share your soul bond. He will also grow stronger as you grow stronger, Host.]
Jacob smiled. "Nice."
He took some Sker buffalo meat from his pocket dimension and threw it to Drogon. "Eat that, and go take your revenge on the masked men for hurting you."
Drogon took a bite, and his eyes lit up. He devoured the rest of the meat before rubbing his head against Jacob affectionately. Then he took to the sky, burning and killing the Sons of the Harpy with renewed fury.
Daenerys stood next to Jacob. "You speak High Valyrian."
Jacob nodded. "Yes."
He looked at her and showed her his palm, where the red tattoo still glowed. "Drop your blood here."
Daenerys frowned. "What for? Do you want to make a contract with me too and turn me into your mindless slave?"
Jacob shook his head firmly. "No. This will make us linked together. Neither of us can harm each other for the rest of our lives. You will not become mindless or my slave. You will be my partner for life."
Daenerys's voice was skeptical. "How can I be sure you're not lying to me?"
Jacob's voice was patient. "You can't. But you know I can force you if I want. I can just wound you and drip your blood on my palm. But I won't. This is not to make you my slave—this is to make you my wife. You have to trust me."
Daenerys's voice was challenging. "What if I say no? Will you really leave and not force me?"
Jacob nodded. "Yes." He smirked. "But do you really want me to leave? Can you bear not seeing my handsome face ever again?"
Daenerys snorted, but she couldn't hide her smile. She looked around the arena.
She saw Stiles and Cogman chasing and killing the Sons of the Harpy with ease, while the masked men ran from them screaming in terror.
She saw Malia using lightning, wind, and fire to destroy the Sons of the Harpy casually, a smile on her face.
She saw Scott with glowing red eyes, protecting Missandei and Tyrion. Every time he punched a Son of the Harpy, the man flew several meters through the air and hit the edge of the arena, not getting up again.
She turned her gaze to Drogon. His flames burned hotter than ever, and his strength was clearly heightened. He burned the spears thrown at him in the air before they could reach him.
She sighed and looked at Jacob. "Fine. I will trust you. But if I find out you lied to me, I would rather die than live as a slave."
Jacob smiled. "Give me your hand."
Daenerys gave him her hand, and he made a small cut with his claw on her finger. "Now, drip your blood on the tattoo."
She let her blood fall onto the symbol. The tattoo glowed with a bright, vivid light, then slowly faded until it vanished entirely.
Both of them closed their eyes as the system sealed their bond. In Jacob's mind, a screen materialized:
[Contract Successful. Congratulations, Host. You are now married to Daenerys Targaryen. The two of you are bound for life. You cannot betray one another, and her mind is protected from being read by any other creature. You can communicate with her telepathically, and you will sense when she is in danger.]
Jacob opened his eyes and looked at Daenerys, who was still processing the connection with her eyes shut.
Then he heard Allison's voice in his mind. [It didn't take you too much time, you pervert.]
Jacob replied telepathically. [You'll always be my first woman, the most beautiful, and my favorite.]
Allison's voice was amused. [I want you to tell me that in front of Lydia and the others.]
Jacob's reply was quick. [Are you crazy? Do you want to get me killed? Sure, I can tell them you're my first woman, but I can't tell them you're the most beautiful and the one I love most. That will hurt their feelings.]
Allison's voice softened. [Alright, alright. We'll talk when you get back.]
Lydia's voice spoke to him next. [So, when are we going to meet our new sister?]
Jacob replied. [As soon as she's ready.]
Sansa and Melissa didn't contact him, which was to his liking. He didn't contact them either.
Daenerys opened her eyes and sighed in relief.
"So, did I lie to you?" Jacob asked.
"No," Daenerys said, a small smile playing on her lips. "Now we are husband and wife for life, and we cannot betray or harm one another." She looked at Malia. "And I also feel a connection to her and four others."
Jacob spoke to her telepathically. [You can also talk to me and my other wives in our heads and share memories with us, no matter how far we are. Try it.]
Daenerys focused and managed to send her thought to Jacob. [Can you hear me?]
Jacob replied. [Yes.]
He smirked and sent her a memory of him standing naked in front of a mirror.
Daenerys's eyes went wide. She quickly closed them and focused on the memory Jacob had shown her. After a while, she smiled and sent him a memory of her also standing naked in front of a mirror.
Jacob was surprised. After looking at the memory for a few seconds, he hugged Daenerys, whispering in her ear. "I thought you would be shy after seeing the memory I sent you, but you're a pervert like me, which is to my liking. How about we leave Malia and the others to take care of things here and go consummate our marriage?"
Daenerys gave him a kiss and said, "Not yet. I want to get to know you better, and I also want to meet your other wives first."
Jacob nodded. "Okay. I'm in no hurry. I can wait a few days."
He released her from his hug and looked at the chaos in the arena. Then he saw something unusual—the blood from the dead Sons of the Harpy was moving, gathering in the preparation area behind the scenes.
Jacob used his x-ray vision and saw ten people in red robes gathered around a circular red glowing symbol on the ground, chanting. The blood from the dead Sons of the Harpy moved toward them and was sucked into the symbol.
Jacob didn't stop them. He smirked. "This is going to be fun."
Daenerys's brow furrowed. "What's going to be fun?"
Jacob's voice was calm. "The red priests are here, and they're using the blood of the dead Sons of the Harpy to summon something."
Daenerys's voice was sharp. "Then stop them! Don't let them summon whatever they want to summon!"
Jacob shook his head. "No. I want to fight whatever they're summoning. That's why I let R'hllor live—to send me something to play with from time to time." He smiled. "Besides, you'll get to see what your husband truly is."
Just then, Scott approached them with Missandei and Tyrion.
Daenerys caught Missandei's hand. "Are you okay?"
Missandei smiled. "Yes." She looked at Scott. "He protected me."
Daenerys looked at Scott, then turned to Jacob.
Jacob smirked. "He's my son, Scott."
Scott growled. "Hey, I'm not your son!" He turned to Daenerys. "Nice to meet you."
Daenerys nodded. "I'm Daenerys. Nice to meet you too." She tilted her head. "Why did he call you his son?"
Scott let out a snort. "Because he's a scumbag who doesn't care about friendship and went and married my mom."
Tyrion stepped forward looking at Jacob. "Excuse me, Your Grace."
Jacob looked at him. "What?"
Tyrion's voice was careful. "You've made your point. Can you order your people to stop the killing?"
Jacob's voice was cold. "You want me to spare the lives of the slavers who are slaughtering people and tried to kill my wife?" He pointed at the stands, where many people had been killed by the Sons of the Harpy. "Look at the stands. Look at what they did to people."
Tyrion said, "You and your people have already killed enough of them. Make them surrender. Show some mercy."
Jacob's voice hardened. "They should have thought of mercy before they tried to kill Dany. It's too late now. I will not stop until every last one of them is dead. You may call it cruelty—I call it consequence."
A faint smile tugged at Daenerys's lips. She was pleased by Jacob's words—and she had no concern for the fates of those who tried to kill her.
Tyrion opened his mouth to respond, but Scott cut him off. "Jacob doesn't like it when someone attacks his family. Don't bother. He won't spare them."
Tyrion sighed and shut his mouth.
They watched as Malia, Stiles, Cogman, and Drogon made quick work of the rest of the Sons of the Harpy.
Daario, Jorah, Grey Worm, and the Unsullied also stood behind them, watching Malia and the others in shock.
---
After killing all the Sons of the Harpy, Cogman, Stiles, and Malia walked to Jacob.
Cogman bowed to Daenerys. "Nice to meet you, Lady Daenerys. I'm Cogman, the butler. If you need anything, just tell me, and I'll do it as long as it is in my powers. I specialize in torturing people and killing them."
Daenerys frowned but managed a polite smile. "Nice to meet you too."
Malia said, "Jay, I feel something wrong." She pointed to the preparation area. "Inside over there."
Jacob nodded. "I felt it too. The red priests are using the blood of the dead in the arena to summon something."
Stiles's eyes narrowed. "Should we stop..." He shook his head. "By the look on your face, you don't want to stop them."
Jacob smiled. "I want to have some fun. I just hope whatever they're summoning is strong enough to entertain me."
Cogman stepped forward. "Sir, I interrogated a few of those masked men, and they told me about their leaders."
Jacob's interest was piqued. "Tell me about them."
Cogman said, "The Masters of Yunkai, Astapor, and Volantis. The wealthy ruling elites of the neighboring slave cities. They are secretly financing the Sons of the Harpy to break Lady Daenerys's regime before her anti-slavery revolution spreads to their own lands. And if their attack didn't succeed today in killing my lady, they are planning to attack Meereen with their massive armada."
Jacob smiled. "Great. I was going to send Kai and the samurai to assassinate them. But if they gather and bring their armada here to Meereen, that will make our job easier. I'll just let Kisarax burn them all to ash."
Tyrion's voice was cautious. "How about we make them surrender? The soldiers, I mean—not their masters."
Jacob raised an eyebrow. "Go on. I'm listening."
Tyrion explained, "There may be some mercenaries among the masters' armada, but the vast majority are enslaved men. They aren't like the Unsullied—they're low-tier conscripts: slave rowers, laborers, and basic infantrymen. They hold no loyalty to the masters. So why burn them to ash when we could make them surrender instead?"
Jacob thought for a moment. "Alright. We'll give them a choice."
Just then, Jacob, Malia, and Scott felt a surge of supernatural energy coming from the preparation area.
Jacob said, "Alright, you guys go to the stands and let me have fun. The thing they're summoning is coming." He looked at Cogman. "After whatever that thing is comes to face me, go and kill the ten red priests who summoned it. Make sure none of them escape."
Cogman smiled, his expression chilling. "With pleasure, sir."
Malia looked at Daenerys. "You're too weak now, so stay next to me." She caught her hand and dragged her away. "Let's go and let him have his fun."
They walked to the stands. Scott, Missandei, Stiles, and Tyrion followed.
Daenerys passed by Daario and Jorah and warned them. "You two stay away from me if you want to live longer."
She looked at Grey Worm. "Grey Worm, you and the Unsullied get out of the pit and stand behind us."
Grey Worm nodded and followed them to the stands with the Unsullied, standing behind them.
Daario and Jorah looked at each other and sighed. They followed and stood far behind Daenerys with the Unsullied.
Just then, a loud roar came from inside the preparation area.
Jacob's smile widened. "I hope it's as strong as it sounds."
Cogman said, "Alright, sir. Have fun. I'm going to deal with the red priests."
He entered the preparation area from a different entrance than the one the roar came from.
Jacob waited.
The ground trembled. The roar came again, louder this time.
