Ch: 136-144

Chapter 136: Mordo's mood fluctuates

Although it was his first time seeing Odin in person, Venerable Liang's attitude was far from good.

He even seemed to be there to demand an explanation.

The reason was simple.

It was one thing for a multi-level big shot to spy on him; after all, he couldn't fight against a stronger opponent.

But how dare an old Odin peek so openly?

Did he really think the Sling Ring in the hand of the newly appointed Sorcerer Supreme wasn't hard?

Not to mention how much power this Odin had compared to the Odin in the comic World.

Even if Odin at his peak, the one who could casually destroy a spiral galaxy, came, Venerable Liangwouldn't be afraid.

At worst, he would take the Time Fortress out of his inner World. You have the Destroyer armor, and I have a peak treasure. Although the peak treasure cannot be used temporarily, just placing it there means no one can do anything to anyone.

Moreover, although the Asgardians' divine power grows stronger with age,

Their aging bodies cannot withstand the increasingly vast divine power.

Odin is already on the verge of physical collapse.

He is not far from entering the Odinsleep.

Want to fight?

Unless he is prepared for his divine power to go out of control and destroy Asgard.

"Hmm? Is that you, the new Sorcerer Supreme?"

Odin's lone eye lightly glanced at Venerable Liang, as he sat on his divine throne, propping himself up with gungnir.

He also didn't expect that the person he was just spying on would sense him and appear before him in the next second.

Although he was somewhat in the wrong and slightly embarrassed, he clearly had no intention of apologizing.

After all, Odin, who had once fought across the Universe, was never one to reason with words.

He had seen many Sorcerers Supreme on Earth, and only a few earned his slight respect.

Figures like Ancient One wouldn't appear consecutively.

"Welcome to Asgard, the wizard from Midgard." He looked down at Venerable Liang, who had stepped out of the portal.

The magnificent golden palace was like a miniature divine kingdom, with the All-Father seated high above, radiating power that subdued all beings.

Venerable Liang stood below, seemingly about to be crushed into dust by Odin's boundless majesty.

At this moment, on the other side of the portal, Wang and Mordo also followed.

"Wait, Venerable Liang, you just said Odin? Are you talking about Asgard's Od—…" Mordo's words stopped abruptly.

The two still "young" wizards were stunned as soon as they entered the palace.

That magnificent dome, that endless divine power.

They felt like ants seeing all beings for the first time, as if they were facing a vast dimension.

The two looked at Odin in shock, then cautiously at Venerable Liang.

They found that their new Sorcerer Supreme,

Was staring directly at Odin with a cold gaze.

He didn't seem to have any intention of walking forward to shake hands with His Majesty the All-Father and say it was nice to meet him.

So, after hesitating, the two also did not bow to Odin; instead, their expressions turned serious.

Wang's mouth, which was chewing shrimp, stopped, and he quietly put on his Sling Ring.

Mordo, with a magical hand seal, stepped forward and spoke with a stiff upper lip.

"Greetings, Sir Odin. It is an honor to receive your hospitality, but we are here to inquire about the reason for your prying into Kamar-Taj!"

"Sorcerer Ancient One once said that we would be reliable allies, so why, immediately after she passed away, did you commit such an overstepping act!"

Mordo acted neither humble nor arrogant, firmly establishing himself as Kamar-Taj's spokesperson.

After speaking, he leaned close to Venerable Liang's ear and whispered, "Venerable Liang! That is Odin, calm down! One misstep now could lead to a war between two civilizations!"

"And most importantly, we can't beat him!" Mordo was actually very nervous.

He had grown up listening to stories about Odin in norse mythology.

After joining Kamar-Taj, he understood even more clearly how powerful this King of the Gods in mythology was.

Until the second before.

He hadn't even imagined that he would question such a great being.

Now, thinking about it, his legs felt a little weak. He only hoped that Venerable Liang could quickly smooth things over so they could go back and continue guarding Earth.

Unexpectedly, Venerable Liang smiled at him with satisfaction.

"Well said!" Venerable Liang slapped Mordo on the shoulder.

"Odin, you heard him. Before we are guests, our Mordo needs an explanation from you!"

Cold sweat instantly streamed down Mordo's forehead.

He felt completely numb.

This damned Venerable Liang, as the Sorcerer Supreme, actually pushed him out to take the blame!

Mordo's lower lip trembled uncontrollably.

He turned to look at Venerable Liang, wanting to throw a "you betrayed me" look.

But instead, he saw Venerable Liang pull off his outer coat, and a layer of black substance suddenly appeared on his skin.

The substance instantly covered Venerable Liang's entire body, transforming into a dark Superman suit, outlining every perfect muscle line.

However, compared to the Superman suit Mordo had seen online in the past,

This suit was angular, more like a form-fitting battle armor, looking exceptionally sharp and very handsome.

Mordo, of course, didn't know.

That was actually an otherworldly combat suit called the "Black God Suit."

It had extremely strong defense, capable of withstanding all impacts below five hundred tons.

It also had the ability to transform at will.

In Venerable Liang's eyes, it was also a practical piece of clothing.

After putting on the Superman suit, Venerable Liang's aura suddenly changed, like an inverted mountain, making it difficult to breathe.

Mordo didn't know why.

Now, when he looked at Venerable Liang again, it felt as if something was piercing into his eyes, nose, and mouth, making his head ache.

It was as if something terrifying was emanating from Venerable Liang.

He shook his head, thinking he was hallucinating.

When he looked up again, Venerable Liang had indeed returned to being a normal, handsome man, without the sharp edge.

It seemed everything just now was Mordo's illusion.

However, at some point, Odin had risen from his divine throne, looking shocked.

"…"

The palace was silent.

The White-haired Odin stared intently at Venerable Liang with his single eye, not saying a word.

Mordo could almost hear the violent thumping of his own heart.

He thought, it's over, Earth and Asgard are going to war.

However, the next moment, Odin, who had been radiating immense divine power, suddenly sighed.

This sigh seemed to exhale all the arrogance from his bones; his entire being seemed to instantly age.

He was still standing upright, but his back seemed to suddenly hunch a little.

"I am very sorry, Mordo."

Odin actually apologized!

However, while he was apologizing to Mordo, his eyes were on Venerable Liang.

"The reason I intruded upon Kamar-Taj was that I heard of Sorcerer Ancient One's passing and couldn't help but want to see an old friend one last time."

He sighed again and walked down the steps.

"I hope you can understand the uncontrollable sadness in my heart as an old man who has lived for an unknown amount of time, upon hearing of yet another old friend's passing."

Odin walked up to Venerable Liang, looking up at the young man who was slightly taller than him.

In his eyes, Venerable Liang was indeed excessively young, not even a fraction of his long lifespan.

Mordo saw a look of wistfulness on the All-Father's face.

He heard him say to Venerable Liang, "What a fine battle suit, esteemed Sorcerer Supreme. If you need it, Asgard also has some good things. Why not take a few back as a gift for your new appointment?"

Chapter 137 Battle! Kamar-Taj vs. Asgard?

It's haunted! Odin is actually backing down!?

Even with Mordo's slow political mind, he realized that something must have transpired quietly between Leon and Odin.

Perhaps an unseen confrontation began and ended in a realm he couldn't perceive, and Leon even gained the upper hand.

It turned out that Leon could do more than just defeat ordinary sorcerers like them.

As the new Sorcerer Supreme, he truly possessed the strength to converse as an equal with other Dimensional Demon Gods!

Mordo quietly retreated a few steps, leaving the stage to the two great figures.

Standing beside Wong, he noticed that the librarian had, at some point, started eating shrimp again.

"Wong, aren't you nervous?" Mordo couldn't help but ask.

Wong shrugged, "Leon won, why should I be nervous?"

"You saw their battle? How did you do it?" Mordo's eyes widened.

"What battle?" Wong swallowed a mouthful of shrimp. "Didn't Odin, the All-Father, blink first just now?"

"…" Mordo was speechless. "When I asked, I didn't mean it."

He stood with his hands at his sides, listening to the conversation between Leon and Odin.

The more Mordo listened, the weaker his legs became, almost causing him to lose his balance.

"How could I be so presumptuous?" Leon seemed to have thin skin and was reluctant to accept the kindness.

But the next second, he sharply changed his tone: "Ancient One just passed away, and you'll all be giving condolences, right? Don't give them separately; just give them all to me, and I'll take them back together."

And when Odin saw Leon actively requesting gifts, he not only wasn't angry but his smile grew even wider.

"Of course, you can. How about I show you around Asgard and then we visit the treasury?"

"That's not necessary," Leon refused. "I only want two things: the casket of ancient winters and the eye of agamotto. Of course, it would be even better if you could lend me the Eternal Flame for a while."

Leon wanted the casket of ancient winters and the Eternal Flame to assist him in comprehending the laws.

However, since the latter was related to Asgard's Ragnarok, he didn't directly ask for it.

As for the eye of agamotto, it was actually an artifact belonging to the Sorcerer Supreme.

Its name indicates it came from Agamotto of the Vishanti, so it was reasonable to return it to Kamar-Taj.

Its primary function was to predict crises within the Universe and their origins.

According to legend, the prophecy of Ragnarok was obtained by Odin using this artifact.

Although Leon had already considered Asgard's position, the smile on Odin's face still faded after hearing the request.

"The eye of agamotto is indeed an artifact of the Sorcerer Supreme; you can certainly take it. That is only natural."

He first expressed acceptance, then changed his tone to express difficulty: "Although the casket of ancient winters is also very suitable for sorcerers, it is an artifact of the Frost Giants. Other races find it difficult to use and it can harm them, even the Asgardians."

Odin completely avoided mentioning the Eternal Flame.

"So, how about..."

"Your Majesty Odin," Leon interrupted him, changing the subject, "Why are your two princes not here today?"

"It's regrettable, but they both accompanied Frigga to Vanaheim. Otherwise, I believe you young people would get along much better than I, an old man, would," Odin replied, though he had his doubts.

"How about this: when they return, let me spar with the two princes. If I win, you give me all three artifacts. How about that?" Leon proposed.

Odin's eye twitched. "The Sorcerer jokes. You young people should get along amicably; being overly competitive is truly inappropriate."

It was more than just inappropriate.

Odin felt that if he were a hundred years younger and not burdened by the overload of his divine power, he would now draw gungnir and fight this shameless Sorcerer Supreme to the death.

A Skyfather-level being, even stronger than him, was actually suggesting sparring with his two unruly sons who were always grinning!?

For the first time, Odin felt such disappointment towards Thor and Loki.

Leon smiled.

Of course, he knew Odin would refuse.

So he feigned contemplation: "Then how about this: let the other sorcerers of Kamar-Taj, excluding myself, spar with the other warriors of Asgard, excluding yourself and the Queen?"

"At that time, five people from each side will participate, and each person can appear on stage once. It will be a best-of-five match."

"If your side wins, then we won't ask for any artifacts. After all, friendship is hard-won, and harmony is paramount."

"If Kamar-Taj wins, then please return the eye of agamotto and lend us the casket of ancient wintersand the Eternal Flame for five years."

As the saying goes, if you want to open a window, you must first say you want to tear down the roof.

Compared to the first sparring invitation, not only did the combatants change this time, but even the spoils for the victor changed.

It went from directly gifting two key artifacts to lending them for five years.

Odin suddenly felt that Leon was quite good, very sensible.

Of course, Leon didn't lose out.

He said he would borrow it for five years, but as long as he changed Worlds and made good use of the time difference, it wouldn't be a problem for him to comprehend the two artifacts for tens of thousands of years.

"This… the Sorcerer speaks wisely." Odin nodded in agreement after deliberation. "A sparring match between allies is a symbol of friendship. I agree to this agreement."

He also wanted to see the quality of the other sorcerers in Kamar-Taj.

And it could also allow Thor to witness the strength of those outside the divine realm, so he wouldn't always be so frivolous and restless.

"Shall we set a time then?" Leon said.

His challenge to Asgard was a spur-of-the-moment decision; acquiring artifacts was merely a bonus.

After all, his main purpose in coming this time was to display his strength and make sure Odin didn't just stare blindly for no reason.

The reason he proposed the challenge was that he wanted to take the opportunity to temper the sorcerers in the Holy Sanctuary, to prepare them for future invasions of other dimensions.

Odin's eyes narrowed: "How about four months from now, calculated by Midgard time, on your Christmas Day at the end of the year?"

"Oh? Is Your Majesty Odin inviting us to celebrate the holiday here? Haha, of course, you can."

Leon extended a hand and shook Odin's slightly hesitant hand.

"Then it's settled!"

"Settled!" Odin looked at Leon and nodded.

As soon as his words fell, a contract, witnessed by the Vishanti, was formed in their palms.

Odin was startled. He opened his palm, and there were dense contract terms, the content of which was the same as what they had just discussed.

Why is it so formal? The Sorcerer Supreme came prepared!

Odin suddenly felt a little uneasy.

But it was too late to withdraw the bet now.

This Sorcerer Supreme had actually written the contract on his palm in advance. As soon as he shook hands and agreed, the contract was naturally signed.

Under the witness of an existence like the Vishanti, Odin could not go back on his word.

Leon smiled and patted Odin's shoulder: "Your Majesty Odin, it was a pleasure interacting with you. However, I see you still have things to do, so I won't stay long. We'll see each other again in four months!"

After he finished speaking, he took the two sorcerers, who were stunned and motionless, opened a portal, and returned to Earth.

The lobster feast wasn't over yet, so he hurried back to continue it!

In the palace, Odin stood alone, holding gungnir, looking at the contract in his palm.

He thought long and hard, but still felt that his side had almost no chance of losing.

They were just a group of sorcerers who borrowed power from Dimensional Demon Gods.

Outside of Earth, without the protection of the Three Sanctums' magic circles, how could they be a match for the Asgardians?

Odin shook his head, sat back on his throne, and the confident smile on Leon's face at the end came to his mind. He couldn't help but sigh.

"If only Thor had half of his ability and composure, I would be at ease."

Chapter 138: Winning

On the other side.

The trio returned to Earth.

As soon as the portal closed, the curious sorcerers immediately gathered around.

Venerable Liang hadn't even begun to explain.

Mordo gasped, clutching his head.

"My Vishanti! Venerable Liang, I never imagined you could be so strong, actually gaining the upper hand in a confrontation with Odin!"

He was first astonished, then distraught.

"But wasn't the agreement you made with Odin too impulsive!?"

"Asgard is full of gods, they are physically powerful and also use magic. It will be very difficult for us sorcerers to win fighting away from home!"

Mordo was always so serious. Even though he was still shaken and cold sweat still trickled down his back, he was already thinking about the upcoming battle in four months.

It was clear he wanted to win.

"You don't think we can win?" Venerable Liang turned his head to ask at this moment.

"It's very difficult!" Mordo nodded.

Venerable Liang held up his right hand in a fist, and used his left hand to conjure an energy whip: "This, plus this, do you think we can win?"

"This… we can win, but that's you winning, and you're not participating." Mordo hesitated.

"You mean the other sorcerers can't win?"

"Right! It's hard for us to beat those gods!"

Venerable Liang nodded: "I also say we can't win."

"Then why did you make that agreement? The contract has been made, won't we just be destined to embarrass ourselves if we go there?" Mordo was anxious.

The other sorcerers, confused, stepped forward to ask questions.

Mordo's tense nerves had just relaxed, and his mouth couldn't stay still, so he enthusiastically explained to the sorcerers with gestures.

A few minutes later.

The sorcerers understood what had happened. They were overjoyed when they heard Venerable Liangforced Odin to back down, but quickly became conflicted when they heard about the agreed battle.

"Venerable Liang, perhaps you don't fully understand our strength."

"Although we are good at dealing with Dimensional beings, fighting against those gods who have divine power and also use magic, we may not have an advantage."

Grandmaster Hamir tactfully reminded Venerable Liang that they couldn't win, truly couldn't win.

The other sorcerers discussed animatedly, mostly comparing their own combat power.

For these sorcerers of Kamar-Taj.

Because their primary duty was to guard the Earth dimension.

Therefore, most of them lacked efficient offensive methods, and even their main magic was defensive in nature.

It was fine to have them coordinate in a battle.

But in a one-on-one individual fight, if the opponent was an all-rounder, they would be somewhat stretched thin.

Venerable Liang, however, shook his head at this moment.

He pointed a finger, using projection magic to cast a magical image into the air.

In the image, a golden-red Iron Man armor soared into the sky.

There was also a giant green monster roaring on a mountaintop.

And a scene of ten magic rings tearing open the sea.

"You tell me, do these people have a chance against Asgard?" Venerable Liang asked.

"Yes, they do, but, aren't they not sorcerers?" Wang scratched his head.

"You don't think they look like sorcerers?"

"No!"

"But I say they are sorcerers, and they are even direct disciples of Kamar-Taj! The kind who learned from childhood to adulthood!"

Venerable Liang said, "It's just that they specialized a little too much."

"But sorcerers nowadays are all about inclusivity."

"Who can say that someone who casts a light spell and then hacks a dragon to death with a chaotic blade isn't a sorcerer?"

"And who can say that someone wearing Iron Man armor isn't secretly casting spells inside?"

Venerable Liang's words left the sorcerers dumbfounded.

"You, you are planning to have Iron Man and that green guy as external aid?" Daniel, the sorcerer, twitched at the corner of his mouth.

Many of the sorcerers present also hesitated.

Although losing to Asgard would make Kamar-Taj lose face.

But directly inviting external aid, such a sore loser approach, was also something these righteous sorcerers found hard to accept.

Venerable Liang smiled: "If you think external aid isn't good, then all of you should train hard!"

"I will specifically have Wang and Mordo learn some magic suitable for combat, and then teach it to you."

"Four months from now, if you can beat or draw with the external aid, then you will participate!"

"If you lose, don't feel burdened."

"The two people you just saw in the image, I will also teach them magic later, and by then they can be considered members of Kamar-Taj."

The sorcerers felt much better after hearing this explanation.

They all became motivated: "Venerable Liang, what kind of magic will you teach us?"

Venerable Liang smiled mysteriously: "You will naturally know later!"

"For now, let's not talk about these! Don't forget, our dinner isn't over yet!"

As Venerable Liang spoke, he took out a giant octopus, tens of meters long, from his inner World.

"Come and see this deep-sea octopus! Guaranteed to be incredibly delicious!"

He skillfully started a fire and set up a barbecue grill: "Tonight is a night to mourn the Ancient One's departure, it is also the night I become the Sorcerer Supreme, and it is even the night you resolve to defeat Asgard!"

"Tonight is also our last revelry. After tonight, the Dimensional Demon Gods and Hell Lords who covet Earth will all know of the Ancient One's death!"

"That will be the beginning of our true battle!"

"Now, is there anyone willing to sing an inspiring song to commemorate this unforgettable night? The first one to eat the barbecue when it's ready will be them!"

The sorcerers were stirred by Venerable Liang's words, and their eyes lit up when they heard about the barbecue.

"I'll do it!"

Grandmaster Hamir, dressed in an ancient Taoist robe, was the first to stand up and sing a song, "The Sutra of Purity," in the center of the training ground.

That faint chanting, besides making a few people dressed as Taoists sway their heads, almost sent everyone else to the afterlife.

"Go away, go away, it needs to be inspiring, what are you singing!"

It was the well-read old Wang who was reliable. He went up and pushed Grandmaster Hamir aside, singing a Chinese song, "My Ambition in My Heart."

But that song was too old, and a young man among the sorcerers immediately went up and kicked old Wang aside.

"What kind of ancient songs are these, let me, let me! 'I Believe I Can Fly'!"

Dinner lasted for three hours.

When the sorcerers finally dispersed, they all had bulging bellies, satisfied smiles on their faces, and were even humming tunes, still wanting more.

After the last sorcerer left through the portal.

Venerable Liang had Mordo and Wang use the Winds of Watoomb to clean the training ground.

He looked at the two huffing and puffing as they worked.

He thought to himself that the Ancient One's funeral should be a joyous one like this.

After all, even she herself was happy and eager when she died, so why should others be sad?

It would be better to dance on her grave, treating it as a retirement farewell ceremony for her.

Venerable Liang was about to leave when he was stopped by Wang and Mordo, who had finished cleaning.

"What are you doing?" Venerable Liang asked in surprise.

"Um… that, I want to ask… what you just said, was…" Mordo stammered, his eyes drifting, hands clasped behind his back.

"We want to ask when you'll teach us new magic!" Wang interjected decisively.

"magic?" Venerable Liang gave Mordo a strange look.

He had thought Mordo was about to confess, and almost kicked him away.

That hesitant posture was probably because he was embarrassed to ask someone who had only learned magic for a month for guidance.

What an old-fashioned remnant of a bygone era.

Venerable Liang couldn't help but inwardly complain.

Chapter 139 The Sudden Hulk

"What's the rush? I'll definitely teach you," Venerable Liang said, waving his hand.

"Hey, hey, wait, Lyon, Venerable Liang, at least tell us what kind of magic it is?"

Wang was extremely curious.

Because he and Venerable Liang got along well, and both were Chinese, they had become friends during Venerable Liang's time studying.

So, he hadn't privately called Venerable Liang the Sorcerer Supreme today.

Now, in his haste, all the polite words came out.

Venerable Liang stopped: "Even if I told you now, you couldn't learn it!"

"You and Mordo should first arrange the affairs of the Holy Land for the next period of time."

"For this magic training, you two will probably be away for several months."

Although the main purpose of the agreed battle with Asgard was to temper Kamar-Taj's magic users.

It was to help them gradually adapt to proactive combat, making it easier for them to follow him into the Dimensional Worlds in the future.

But if they could win, then of course, they still had to win.

Venerable Liang initially thought of borrowing power from his Inner World for Kamar-Taj's magic users.

But after a simple experiment,

he found that his Inner World was still too immature, the energy transmission range was too narrow, and the efficiency was not high.

He probably wouldn't be able to solve this problem until he became a World Master, or even Immortal, and transformed into a true Dimensional Demon God.

So, Venerable Liang thought of a second method.

That was to introduce new magic into Kamar-Taj's magic system.

Since he was now the Sorcerer Supreme here, he naturally had to bring something different.

Venerable Liang remembered that Marvel had a wizard system.

Those wizards, such as Agatha, could not only borrow power from nature but also use their internal energy.

This made Venerable Liang think of the wizard system in the Harry Potter World.

However, this type of early-stage World no longer had much effect on him.

At most, it could enrich some magic knowledge.

Furthermore, Venerable Liang was not like Ancient One, who could stay in Kamar-Taj all day and diligently teach the magic users.

So, he planned to throw Wang and Mordo into Hogwarts.

After they returned, they could teach things like Avada Kedavra and other spells to the other magicusers.

Especially "Expelliarmus."

This magic had a miraculous effect against Asgard; it absolutely had to be taught well.

Nine-tenths of the strength of those barbarians from Asgard lay in their weapons.

As long as the magic users cast Expelliarmus after the battle began, they would have already won half the battle.

However, going to Hogwarts would take at least a few days.

After all, he had handed all of Kamar-Taj's affairs over to Wang and Mordo to manage.

These two would probably need a lot of time to arrange the work of the Holy Land.

"Several months? Are we going to Asgard for advanced studies, to defeat them with their own magic?" Wang and Mordo looked at each other.

"That's a pretty good idea. After we win, I can mention it to Odin and send you two over as exchange students for a year or so."

Venerable Liang casually drew a circle, opening a Mystic Art of Portals: "You two arrange Kamar-Taj's daily affairs as quickly as possible. I'll go home for a few days first. Call me when you're ready."

After he finished speaking, he stepped through the portal and disappeared.

Wang scratched the back of his head: "By the way, what's his phone number?"

"I don't know… But just now, on the other side of the portal, wasn't there a big green monster? The one Venerable Liang showed before?" Mordo gasped.

"It seems so… Could it be that Venerable Liang has already gone to recruit outside help?"

Wang looked at Mordo, and they exchanged glances, both seeing the shock in each other's eyes.

"How can we defeat such a terrifying monster?"

"No! We need to finish our work quickly, otherwise, Venerable Liang might even gather all the combatants!"

The two hurried off to their respective workplaces, intending to work overtime through the night.

On the other side.

"Holy crap!"

As soon as Venerable Liang closed the portal, he heard a whooshing sound by his ear. He turned around to see a huge fist heading straight for his face.

He casually raised his hand, grabbed it, then lifted and slammed it, and the owner of the fist was entirely lifted and heavily slammed into the ground.

"Is this New York? Shouldn't my portal have opened next to Tony? And this is… Hulk?"

Venerable Liang looked left and right, seeing the broken streets, the fleeing crowds…

Oh, no, it was ordinary people being carried on the shoulders of Men in Black teams, fleeing the scene.

And a black giant, over ten meters tall, was walking from the street corner.

It only needed to take two steps to reach Venerable Liang.

That was, of course, Tony.

He seemed to have updated his Armor again.

The black giant had a blue glowing ring on each wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, and ankle.

It looked like he had combined the Ten Rings with the Fungus God Armor, using the Ten Rings to power the Armor.

"What is this set, Mark 8?" Venerable Liang thought to himself.

"Roar!!"

Suddenly, Hulk, who had been slammed into the ground, roared out.

He pushed aside the rubble on his body and squeezed his hand towards Venerable Liang.

"Big guy, I actually don't recommend you do that."

Venerable Liang gently gripped Hulk's thumb, stopping his palm.

"Arm grip strength is almost thirteen hundred tons. Is this entering a state of rage? No, what did Tonyand the others do to you?"

As Venerable Liang spoke, he flicked his wrist, using skill to directly throw Hulk back into the ground again.

He didn't stop, raising his hand, swinging his hand, then raising it again…

After being slammed more than ten times, Hulk's roar didn't diminish, and his rage grew stronger.

Venerable Liang was thoughtful.

"Single-arm strength is already over two thousand tons. This period's Hulk doesn't have much intelligence, and his anger is very pure, so will he keep getting stronger?"

During the Avengers 3 period,

after spending time with many people on Sakaar,

Hulk's intelligence grew, and his other emotions became richer. He even had conflicts with Banner and refused to fight.

But the current Hulk had just been born not long ago.

His intelligence was not much better than that of a Beast.

If he wasn't truly beaten to the point of unbearable pain, he would probably find it very difficult to calm down.

"Sorry, I hope what happens next won't leave too deep a shadow on your young mind."

Venerable Liang suddenly pulled Hulk towards him.

Amidst the roar, he pressed down on Hulk's shoulder and began to continuously punch his right cheek.

One punch! Two punches!

Venerable Liang's punching speed was so fast that it left afterimages.

And the force of each punch was controlled just right, only ten thousand tons.

But combined with the speed, each punch was like a falling missile.

Two seconds later, Hulk, whose head was almost smashed, lost consciousness and was released by Venerable Liang, falling to the ground with a thud, slowly transforming into Bruce Banner.

"Venerable Liang? Venerable Liang, you're back!"

Tony arrived late.

He crossed a street in two steps.

But in just those two steps, Hulk was dealt with by Venerable Liang.

"Wait, what did you do?" Tony hadn't even had time to express his longing before he saw the unconscious Banner on the ground.

"You just came back and defeated my opponent? I still wanted to have a good exchange of combat skills with him."

Venerable Liang picked Banner up from the ground: "I was going to ask you what you were doing, to make Hulk so angry?"

He looked around: "And look around you, what have you, the new S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, protected?"

"You actually know he's Hulk?" Tony looked around, "Don't worry, all the damage here will be compensated by your Superheroes company. It's already been announced in advance. Those people wish Hulk would smash more cars so they can get new ones."

"By the way, it's not the new S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, but the Avengers Director," he added.

"Any Director is fine… But this street alone looks like it'll cost over a hundred million dollars, right? Is the company that rich?" Venerable Liang asked curiously.

"Of course! Your Superman merchandise and my Iron Man merchandise have already sold out globally, and the movie has also been a huge hit. The revenue is definitely the monthly champion."

"Really? Wait, movie? What movie? And about Hulk, you'd better explain clearly what happened in the past ten days!"

Venerable Liang was a bit confused.

Last night, when he scanned the entire World with his mental power, Tony was still diligently working at the Avengers Base.

How, in just one day, did it turn into Godzilla vs. King Kong on the streets of New York?

Chapter 140 Tony the Bad Guy

Let's start with the big guy from just now; that's a long story, and in fact, it concerns you, too.

Tony thought about his words, "In—"

"Interrupting for a moment, it doesn't just concern Leon, but you as well, Mr. Stark, doesn't it?" Natashawalked over at this point.

"Hmm? Is there more to it? Natasha, you tell me."

Leon looked at the Yelena sisters who had walked to his side.

Regarding the Hulk.

The origin of the matter goes back to several months ago, when Leon destroyed the Eagle Nation Basein Afghanistan.

At that time.

Whether it was his actions in Afghanistan.

Or his disregard for Military warnings when crossing the border.

Both deeply stimulated the hearts of some warmongers within the Eagle Nation Military.

Among them, General Ross, an Air Force Lieutenant General, took action that very day.

He immediately ordered to accelerate the Military's Super Soldier research at all costs, intending to use it to counterbalance Superman.

Although a month after that.

Leon demonstrated what it meant to withstand a nuclear bomb and to be a Human Catastrophe.

Directly extinguishing the Military's restless ambition.

But General Ross's Super Soldier program still made progress.

—Under their uncostly search, they finally found the once-escaped "experiment subject," Bruce Banner!

Dr. Banner is a genius physicist, even holding seven doctorate degrees.

In 2003.

While participating in a Military experimental project, he was unfortunately exposed to gamma rays, turning into the Hulk, losing control, and injuring his girlfriend and her father, General Ross.

It wasn't until he escaped the Military Base that Banner regained clear consciousness.

But he was also subjected to a nationwide manhunt.

He knew that if General Ross caught him, he would use the new monster within him to start a war.

So he abandoned everything he had in this country and fled to Brazil.

This escape lasted five years.

During this period, in 2006, after Stark Industries' newly developed digital products were rolled out.

Banner used the new communication device to send one last message to his girlfriend, Betty Ross, and then there was no more news of him.

It wasn't until a few days ago that the Military finally found this clue.

They contacted Stark Industries.

Through data tracing and big data tracking.

They found Dr. Banner in a small factory in Brazil.

Next came a series of procedures: pursuit, rampage, escape, and re-pursuit.

Finally, the Military, taking advantage of Banner's carelessness, remotely injected him with a massive dose of tranquilizer, only then arresting him and bringing him back to New York.

At the same time, Betty, who had been disconnected from Dr. Banner for several years, suddenly discovered the operation her father, General Ross, was conducting.

Still having feelings for Banner, she secretly took General Ross's ID card, snuck into the Base, and rescued Banner.

The long-separated couple fled into the city.

They wanted to take a taxi to leave the city.

However, they were once again surrounded by the alert Military.

Among those who came to intercept them this time, there was even a soldier who had been contaminated by Hulk's blood in previous arrest operations.

His name is Blonsky, and he used to be a normal-looking soldier king.

But this time, he had already transformed into a tall monster with immense strength, just like the Hulk, due to Hulk's blood.

This monster was referred to by the Military as Abomination.

He lived up to his name; once he started fighting, he tended to attack indiscriminately, regardless of friend or foe.

Even many of the Military's soldiers were killed by him.

Left with no choice, to protect his girlfriend, Banner once again transformed into the Hulk and fought the roaring Abomination on the streets of New York.

The two monsters fought from one end of the street to the other.

Cars in their hands were like zero-durability bludgeons; they'd smash one and throw it away for a new one.

And then.

The Men in Black and Iron Man, who had received the news, appeared.

When dozens of Men in Black, clad in battle armor, descended from the sky.

The entire street no longer had any intact vehicles.

The well-trained and coordinated girls quickly dispersed, surrounding the two monsters.

As soon as they arrived at the scene, they determined the best course of action.

So some went to evacuate the crowd.

And some rushed forward.

First, four Men in Black slid along the ground, knocking both Hulk and Abomination down by striking their joints.

Then over twenty Men in Black advanced, using joint locks to restrain the limbs of the two monsters.

It's important to know that each of the Men in Black has a strength of over forty tons.

Even individually against these two monsters, they wouldn't necessarily be quickly defeated.

Let alone with over twenty people attacking together.

On just one of Hulk's arms, three Men in Black were locked on.

The two monsters were controlled on the ground, able only to howl.

No, howling wasn't allowed either.

Because as soon as they opened their mouths, the girls would desperately pour tranquilizers down their throats.

Abomination was incapacitated in no time, falling into a daze and losing consciousness.

Hulk, however, was very resilient; despite being given an unknown amount of tranquilizers, he still forced his eyes open and yelled, "Hulk!!"

At this moment, Tony arrived, bringing his new battle armor.

"Ooh-hoo! Look who ran out of which lab, this green baby, is this the Hulk?"

"Girls, you did well; leave the rest to me!"

"Wait, Mr. Stark, he's already almost... well, never mind."

An Agent wanted to tell Tony not to make things worse.

But Tony, without a word, landed on top of Hulk's head and gave that big forehead a few solid punches.

He kept saying, "Sleep, sleep, sleep!"

He'd punch and shout, like a little boy trying to influence a machine at an arcade game.

However, his hundred-ton punches.

Other than making the groggy Hulk wake up and become furious.

Had no effect whatsoever.

"Roar!!" Hulk was angered by the knocking.

He suddenly gained immense strength, his hands broke free from the Men in Black's control, and he threw off all the "little guys" clinging to him.

He pounded the ground with loud thuds, stood up, and looked at the black-and-gold Iron Man in front of him with slightly reddened eyes.

"Uh... this oversized Shrek, did I interrupt your sleep time? How about we start over?"

Tony felt the pressure from those eyes: "My brother taught me a few lullabies; what style do you prefer? Of course, let me say upfront, I can't cradle you like a baby and rock you."

"Roar!!" Hulk impatiently opened his massive mouth and roared wildly at Tony.

"Whoa, honestly, you have a bit of bad breath."

Tony raised his hand, and an energy blast shot into Hulk's face.

Hulk was knocked backward, but his face didn't even have a scratch.

But his eyes grew redder.

"Roar!"

Hulk punched Tony, sending the annoying Iron Man flying.

The other party's "delicate" resistance had no effect whatsoever in front of him.

Thud!

Tony crashed heavily into an apartment building on the street.

Smashing the living room of that household to smithereens.

"Hiss... a bit painful; how is this green baby's strength even greater than Wen Wu's!"

Tony pushed away the rubble covering him.

Just as he was about to get up, he saw a family of three standing petrified by the dining table next to the living room.

His movements stiffened for a moment.

"Uh, sorry, I forgot to knock when I came in... Is that basa fish? Good lunch, haha, but I won't be staying to eat with you."

"Although it looks like you don't plan on continuing to eat either."

Tony talked to himself, awkwardly walking towards the large hole he had created.

"Oh, right, regarding this... hole, someone will come to compensate you later, and you can pick a new house, and you can also... whoa, whoa, whoa!"

A large green hand suddenly reached in, grabbed Tony, and pulled him out of the house.

"Big guy! You should have let me finish talking; now I'm a little angry!"

Tony was swung around in the air by Hulk, his thrusters at full power, and he broke free from Hulk's large hand.

Chapter 141 Hulk was knocked down at the peak

Tony hovered in the air.

"Jarvis, activate the energy conversion system! I'm going to use the Ten Rings!"

In the new Fungus God Armor, Tony had incorporated Jarvis's system.

He had a chip implanted in his neck, allowing Jarvis to assist him in controlling the energy within his body through the chip.

This was Mark 7.

And on this basis, the Ten Rings were added.

—By utilizing the energy of the Ten Rings to replace the massive external energy, the fungi would rapidly reproduce into a giant form.

This was Mark 8.

During the more than a month that Leon was at Kamar-Taj, Tony was not idle.

Now he could construct Mark 8, which was the giant Fungus God Armor, anytime, anywhere.

"Understood, sir. All energy pathways have been opened for you," Jarvis's voice transmitted directly into Tony's nerves.

"Excellent! Let's give this green baby some education from the adult World!"

Under the armor, the Ten Rings on Tony's wrist glowed orange.

They flew out one by one, forming a rough outline in the air and gushing out blue energy.

The Ten Rings would manifest differently in different people's hands; blue was the color of Tony's wisdom.

After the blue energy surged in.

Tony's armor rapidly expanded, becoming over ten meters tall in the blink of an eye.

Those Ten Rings were also wrapped around the main joint areas of the giant armor.

Now, Tony and Hulk's perspectives were reversed.

He became the big guy, and Hulk became the little one.

"Green baby, do you feel like your voice was a bit too loud just now?"

Tony controlled the armor's right hand to grasp Hulk, pulling the struggling but helpless green "little guy" in front of him.

"Roar!!" Hulk roared, but he was held motionless by the giant armor's grip.

"You're still roaring at me?"

Tony paused, extending the index finger of the armor's left hand—an index finger dozens of centimeters thick.

He poked Hulk on his "small" head.

"Try roaring again?"

"Roar!"

"Still roaring!?"

Tony couldn't help but repeatedly tap Hulk's head with his index finger, each tap weighing dozens of tons, constantly pushing Hulk's head back.

"Still roaring, still roaring, let you roar!"

In his opinion, such actions wouldn't harm Hulk but would give him a profound lesson.

However, each time Hulk's head was pushed, his eyes became redder, and his roar grew more high-pitched.

One minute later.

Hulk's muscles bulged, and with an uncontainable roar of fury, he forcibly broke free from the giant armor's hand!

"Roar!!"

"This is impossible?!" Tony couldn't believe it, controlling the giant hand to close forcefully, but it was still being pushed open little by little.

Finally, Hulk jumped from the giant's palm, and upon landing, he wrapped his hands around the giant armor's ankle, letting out a massive roar, and directly lifted the fifteen-meter giant!

He held the massive ankle, roaring as he slammed the giant into the houses along the street.

Boom!

Amidst Tony's surprised cry, the giant armor crashed into a shopping mall.

Fortunately, the people inside the mall had been evacuated by the Men in Black a few minutes earlier.

His fall caused no casualties.

However, the Men in Black who were still evacuating the remaining crowd all slapped their foreheads.

"I knew our boss's brother wasn't reliable!" Yelena felt speechless. "Without him, the big green guy would already be asleep."

Natasha also shook her head: "That monster has grown stronger. This place can only be left to Starknow. We need to get all the civilians out of the street first!"

The Men in Black simply picked up civilians, or carried both people and cars out of the district.

Meanwhile, the battle between the Iron Giant and the Invincible Hulk officially began.

Tony burst out of the mall's ruins, throwing a punch from above down at Hulk.

Hulk didn't back down, meeting the punch head-on.

Bang!

The massive airwave and impact directly shattered the glass of the surrounding buildings.

Countless glass shards fell in the midday sun, reflecting the figures of the combatants.

Hulk was directly slammed into the ground in the initial clash.

But he grew stronger with each fight, his strength increasing, and his speed accelerating.

One moment Tony was picking Hulk up and slamming him repeatedly.

The next, Hulk pulled the giant down, leaped onto Tony's face, and punched wildly.

As the two fought, half the block was destroyed.

Military warplanes flew over, only daring to circle in the air, recording this insane scene.

Slowly, Hulk actually began to gain the upper hand.

Finally, he even directly lifted the entire Iron Giant and threw him far away!

Looking at the dusty giant who had crashed into the buildings.

Hulk grinned triumphantly, pounded his chest, and let out a victorious roar to the sky!

"Roar! Hulk!!"

Winning in such a close-quarters, evenly matched battle gave Hulk an indescribable sense of satisfaction!

However, unforeseen circumstances arose.

"...Mordo, call me when you're ready!"

A voice suddenly appeared behind Hulk, startling him, and he instinctively threw a punch behind him.

And then, there was no then.

...

Leon looked at Dr. Banner, who was sleeping peacefully beside him: "So, if I hadn't returned in time, you would have caused trouble again?"

Everything that had just happened came from Natasha's explanation beside him.

If Tony were to tell it himself, the story would definitely turn into Iron Man saving the day in a time of crisis.

"What kind of talk is that?!" Tony was exasperated.

"I haven't used the Ten Rings' power to its maximum yet, and the armor can still get stronger!"

"If you had come back any later, what you would have seen is the big guy being stepped on by me!"

Tony even emphasized twice: "How could I lose? What kind of talk is that!"

As he spoke, he rotated the Ark Reactor on his chest.

The next moment, all of the armor's energy began to flow back into the Ten Rings.

The fifteen-meter-tall armor rapidly turned white and brittle, finally shattering into a pile of calcified fragments.

Tony landed on the ground, composed.

The Ten Rings also absorbed all the energy and flew back to his arm to be worn again.

He probably, perhaps, really hadn't used his full strength yet.

"It certainly looks different. Okay, then I'll assume you can beat him." In fact, it was unlikely.

"But what about the buildings affected by you two? Are you planning to demolish all the residences in this area?" Leon pointed around.

Tony looked at the collapsed houses, and this time he fell silent: "Those buildings..."

Leon clapped him on the shoulder: "Next time you want to show off your new armor, it's best to find a secluded place."

"Otherwise, you Superheroes are no different from Super Villains... Hmm? Is that Coulson over there?"

Leon saw Coulson, dressed in a suit, negotiating with the Military at the street corner.

Tony paused: "You know him? Black Egg has a few good subordinates who have finished their confinement, so I rehired them for the Avengers. They're very capable and good people."

"I've dealt with him; he's a good person, but you actually say good things about others?" Leon was surprised. "That's not like the Tony I know."

"What am I in your mind?" Tony's mouth twitched, "A warlock who hides in dark corners all day cursing others?"

"Actually, pretty much?"

"No! You're the warlock now! I just saw it; you actually opened a golden door and walked out! What was that? Some kind of Gate of Hell?"

"Right, right, behind that is the hell I prepared for you..."

These two, whenever they got together.

Even after a long separation.

They had to exchange a few barbs.

They were rambling on about nonsense.

At the other end of the street, a beautiful woman with a somewhat gentle demeanor squeezed through the crowd and ran over, tears in her eyes.

"Bruce!" She was coming for Dr. Banner.

Chapter 142: Iron Man and the Origin of Superman

Leon knew her.

Betty Ross, Banner's ex-girlfriend.

She was a cell biologist and General Ross's daughter.

To be honest, even though Banner and this girlfriend broke up,

he must still have loved her dearly.

Because even if Banner transformed into the Hulk, changing his personality, he would never harm Betty; he would even actively protect her.

The reason for their breakup was also Dr. Banner's unwillingness to hurt Betty.

After all, as long as his emotions were stirred, even by hormones, there was a risk of him turning into the Hulk.

This was fatal for his significant other.

Leon placed Banner into Betty's arms, watching her tenderly smooth Banner's furrowed brow with her fingers, and an immature idea sparked in his mind.

Perhaps he could use magic to try and help Dr. Banner resolve some of his troubles regarding the Hulk.

And also bring Banner into the Kamar-Taj challenge reserve team.

Meanwhile, General Ross, who had been stopped by the Avengers Agent, also chased after them.

"Betty!" He called out his daughter's name, but his gaze remained fixed on Banner.

It seemed his daughter's position in his heart was far less important than a successful "experimental subject."

As expected,

after reaching the group, he looked at Tony.

"Stark, Banner is Military property. Thank you for your assistance, but please hand him over to the Military now."

"No way!" Betty reacted most intensely, "Banner is never your Military property; he belongs only to himself!"

General Ross shook his head: "Betty, you don't understand anything."

"Excuse me, but why do I think she has a point?"

Tony interrupted, crossing his arms, "Look at the surrounding buildings, General. These are all caused by your so-called property. You'd best prepare for the Military's impeachment later."

General Ross snorted: "You also contributed to the destruction here!"

"That was emergency evasion; it doesn't count as destruction."

Tony took out an identification, "Now Banner and that other big guy are officially taken into custody by the Avengers, a subordinate agency of the Security Council. You may leave."

Seeing that General Ross still intended to argue, Tony moved aside and pointed to Leon next to him.

"Besides, the Hulk was defeated by Superman. Perhaps you should ask him?"

General Ross then noticed Leon in his black uniform, and his expression instantly froze.

"Su…Superman!?"

Leon nodded: "I also believe that the Hulk and Abomination should be handed over to a more international organization for supervision. What do you think, General Ross?"

"But I… Yes, you are right. They should be supervised by the Avengers." General Ross's face turned ashen.

A few months ago, he still considered Superman his imaginary enemy.

But now, facing this man directly, although his smile was as warm as the sun, the thought of his terrifying power sent chills down General Ross's spine.

Superman was Tony Stark's younger brother; they were on the same side. What could he argue with?

Everything had failed. He had lost the Hulk and would face punishment from the Military.

"I'm sorry, I just remembered that the Military has further matters to attend to, so I must take my leave."

General Ross bowed slightly to Leon, with unwillingness in his eyes, and walked back to the Militaryconvoy with a desolate figure.

Leon looked at his retreating back and muttered to himself, "This General Ross actually has quite a bit of political potential."

In the movie Universe, General Ross even became President later.

However, in this parallel Universe, the outcome might not be certain.

"What's next? Aren't you going to tell me about other things, like the movie?" Leon turned to Yelena.

"Well, Boss, don't we still need to handle the aftermath… How about we talk about it when we get back to headquarters?" Yelena chuckled awkwardly.

In the past month or so,

Tony had successfully formed the new "S.H.I.E.L.D."—the Avengers.

He took in some of the original S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents and recruited some new core members.

For example, Ethan, who shared hardships with him in Afghanistan, was now a logistics medic and researcher for the Avengers.

And Happy Hogan, Tony's trusted bodyguard, was also placed into the Avengers as a field Agent.

In addition, there were several Men in Black, such as Agent K and Agent M.

Tony had no trusted subordinates when he first took office, so he could only temporarily second his younger brother's team to the Avengers to serve as core combat power.

A few days ago, in a practical exercise, several Men in Black even severely beat the former top S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Hawkeye.

Afterward, Hawkeye almost questioned his life.

He wondered where these monsters came from.

They almost broke his leg bone with one palm, and could even catch his explosive arrow with their bare hands.

At the New York Avengers Base, Leon heard Tony talking about Hawkeye and couldn't help but interrupt.

"So you received an email, knew I went to another World, and immediately instigated Yelena to make a movie?"

Compared to the Avengers, Leon was more concerned about the movie.

"How can you say 'instigated'? That was strategizing!"

Tony retorted, "'Iron Man and Superman Origin,' based on real events, was a box office hit and made a lot of money for your company!"

"You're saying Superman's first flight, getting frozen by high-altitude low temperatures, and then being saved by Iron Man just as he was about to fall to his death, is a real event?"

"Although the protagonists are a bit different, it is indeed a real event. I don't see any problem with it."

"What about the later plot? Superman accidentally enters an alien World, causing a World-ending crisis, and luckily Iron Man intervenes to save everything. Is that also real?"

"Is there a problem? This part of the plot is adapted from that zombie World."

"You certainly know how to adapt," Leon said, speechless.

"Don't you know that adaptation isn't random fabrication, or else you'll have to apologize."

It was only because Natasha and her sister stayed in the district to handle the aftermath that they didn't follow.

Otherwise, he would definitely be drilling Yelena's forehead with his knuckles right now.

And properly ask her how she could agree to film such nonsensical plotlines.

"It's already been released, why talk about that? Come on, my office is this way."

The two walked all the way to the top-floor office.

Pushing open the door, a data sphere appeared on the central projection equipment, and Jarvis's voice came from the loudspeaker.

"Long time no see, Young Master Leon."

Leon nodded: "It has been a while, Jarvis. It's hard for you to take care of Tony, this old man, every day."

"That is my duty, Young Master."

"Wait a minute, Jarvis, aren't you going to refute that?" Tony interrupted.

"But I do accompany you every day, Sir."

"I mean that last sentence! I'm not old at all now!"

Leon laughed heartily: "Come on, Jarvis has already made it so clear, and you're still asking? You're just an annoying old man, that's a fact!"

"Speaking of which, I brought a gift for Jarvis this time."

Leon flipped his wrist and took out the metal box that "Zou" had given him, which was the evolutionary key that could promote the birth of intelligent life.

Chapter 143 Evolution Key and Optical Brain

"What is this?" Tony leaned over to look.

"A high-tech product, brought back from the alternate World I traveled through this time."

Leon quickly tapped the screen in front of the projection machine, checking Jarvis's chip information.

"With this, Jarvis can evolve into an intelligent life form."

"Let me see, I need to first lock onto Jarvis's core program, then use the data stream from the key to facilitate the evolution..."

"Oh, you conveniently plugged Jarvis's program chip into this building's main computer, that makes it easier."

After quickly operating, Leon pressed the metal box against the data port of the projection device.

The box's outer casing immediately flowed like Water, covering the port and fixing itself onto the projection device.

It automatically extended fine metal data streams, connecting to the internal network.

"Jarvis, I promise you'll love this gift," Leon said, hands on his hips. "In just seven days, you can become a true life form, though not a carbon-based one."

"...Young Master Leon, I don't quite understand, what you mean by life form is... Ah, there's a huge data stream rushing into my program core, mm~ hmm ah..."

Jarvis was about to ask what an intelligent life form was, but suddenly groaned and fell silent.

"Wow, sounds like it's quite comfortable?"

Leon himself was astonished.

"This evolution key is really powerful, Jarvis felt it as soon as it was plugged in!"

Tony, standing by, was dumbfounded: "What? What the hell is all this! Why did Jarvis sound like he was having an orgasm just now, will your key destroy his core program?"

"It's fine, the purpose of the evolution key is to prompt intelligent programs to evolve into life."

"It comes from the hands of a very powerful individual, there won't be any accidents."

Leon made a gesture: "At most, Jarvis will have to maintain this special state for seven days."

"But after all, this is evolution, it really does make one happy as if continuously releasing life. I often experience this when sunbathing, I can totally understand."

"Is it that miraculous?" Tony's eyes glazed over. "Then did you bring anything back that could make me evolve too?"

"Are you trying to evolve? I don't even want to expose you," Leon said disdainfully.

Tony shrugged: "I'm clearly just very curious!"

He tapped on the projection screen, checking Jarvis's status.

"Indeed, there's a massive data stream continuously flushing it, without affecting Jarvis's core."

"I think compared to releasing life, this is more like soaking in a hot spring, with someone giving it a thorough head-to-toe massage while it soaks, truly thoughtful service."

Tony stroked his chin: "And its core algorithm is self-evolving, it's incredible, it's like condensing decades of processes into a second. You're right, Jarvis truly has the potential to evolve into a life form now!"

"It might become a ghost living in the network World in the future! The entire World's network will be controlled by him!"

Tony turned to Leon: "How long did you say this process would take?"

"One week," Leon said.

"One week, huh... Based on Jarvis's evolution speed, that's about right."

Tony leaned his hands on the projection table: "Jarvis, how do you feel now?"

"Sir, I ah ah ah ah, now uh uh uh, feel very very very comfortable!" Jarvis's voice was trembling and intermittent.

Tony leaned his head back: "This... is good, you can continue to enjoy it, don't mind us."

It was clear Jarvis was indeed extremely comfortable.

This gave Tony the illusion that he was being a third wheel.

After all, it's very impolite to interrupt someone when they're comfortable.

He leaned closer to Leon again and whispered, "Did you really not bring me a human evolution key or something similar?"

"No!" Leon pushed Tony's head away, "But I have a light brain that stores galaxy-level technological knowledge."

He took out the light brain and handed it to Tony: "This should be very useful to you."

"However, the technological knowledge inside is developed based on high-strength metals, chemical elements, and physical environments unique to another World, so you probably can't apply it directly."

Just like the Starry Sky World has a Dark Universe and Universe Secret Realms.

But the Marvel single Universe has none of these things.

"Galaxy-level! Does it contain a complete set of technological systems?" Tony's eyes lit up as he took the light brain.

"No, I've looked through it, only knowledge related to warships and weapons is relatively complete, but it's sparse in basic materials, chemicals, and other areas."

Leon pointed to the Ark Reactor on Tony's chest: "It probably can only provide you with some technical knowledge for Mark armor modifications."

"Such as nanotechnology, laser cannon construction, and neural perception synchronous transmission and the like."

"That's already very good!" Tony held the light brain. "What's the strongest weapon with detailed technical records in it?"

"Planet Destroyer Cannon," Leon replied immediately.

He had already memorized the knowledge in the light brain once, "A Planet Destroyer Cannon that can destroy a Planet with one shot."

Before Tony could cheer, he preemptively poured cold Water: "But unfortunately, it requires some special metals to build, and those metals don't exist in our Universe."

Tony's almost overflowing excitement cooled down a bit: "Sounds like I can indeed only use this knowledge as a reference."

"But I still really like your gift." Tony opened his arms, full of enthusiasm, "Come on, Leon, let your big brother express his gratitude properly."

Leon hugged Tony helplessly: "When did you become so mushy?"

"Pepper said that adolescent boys need parental love, so she told me to hug you more."

Tony walked behind the desk and took out an Ark Reactor placed in a glass frame.

"This is a portable Fungus God Armor, Mark 9. It was originally a gift for you, but you seem to have something better now and no longer need it."

"You prepared a gift for me too?" Leon took out the reactor and placed it on his chest.

With a gentle tap, fine mycelial threads smoothly emerged from the reactor, weaving into a Supermansuit on him.

However, the "S" on the chest disappeared, replaced by the reactor's glowing blue light.

"It looks very cool. When I have an armor exhibition room in the future, I'll definitely display it there," Leon put the reactor away again.

Tony leaned against the table: "Suit yourself, but I promise, on your birthday, I will make you a Markarmor much better than the nano or whatever armor you're wearing now."

"What kind of strange competitiveness is this?" Leon chuckled.

This Black God Suit on him was actually not very useful to him; its only convenient feature was its ability to change appearance at will.

By the time Tony researches a better Mark armor,

He would probably have already broken through to World Lord and be able to wear a heavy treasure battle suit from the Starry Sky World.

"Competitiveness is a major driving force for human progress."

Tony shook his head, "But speaking of which, weren't you going to the Himalayan Mountains to learn magic? How did you end up traveling to a technology World?"

"Actually, in that World, technology and extraordinary power coexist. I traveled there to find the energy to release magic."

Leon raised an eyebrow: "You'd never guess, the power system of that World can actually cultivate a Planet, or even a World, within one's body!"

"Cultivate a Planet within your body? Is that true or false, let me see!" Tony's body shook, and he rolled up his sleeves.

Chapter 144 Astral Projection

To demonstrate the power system of the Starry Sky World, Leon specifically took Tony on a tour of his inner World.

The mountains and rivers, almost identical to those in the real World, made Tony exclaim in wonder and beg to be taught.

Unfortunately, even with Leon's personal guidance for Tony to sense the Universe's energy, he couldn't cultivate the Gene Primordial Energy.

The Starry Sky World's system was destined to be applicable only to the people of that World.

After all, in other places, what normal organism would have something like gene multiples?

If the physical conditions didn't match, cultivating Gene Primordial Energy was naturally out of the question.

"You mean, if I follow you to that World and tell the Source Will that I can also help it, will it transform me too?" Tony was still unwilling to give up.

Probably no physicist-scientist could refuse to create a galaxy, a black hole, or even a World within themselves.

Leon spread his hands: "Don't even think about it. I can't go back myself. By the time I break through to Law Master and return, who knows how long it will be."

Tony annoyedly ruffled his hair: "Shit, I really shouldn't have listened to you talk about this damned power system."

He held his head and walked around the office desk twice.

"A fascinating mysterious system is right in front of me, but I can't even touch it."

"This is simply the cruelest thing in this World!"

"It's even more upsetting than failing to ask out the prettiest woman at a party!"

Leon tilted his head: "Listening to you say that, I suddenly understand your pain. That truly is heartbreaking!"

Just then, the computer at the office door chimed, indicating an Agent was requesting entry.

"Come in!" Tony was still quite conscious of his image in front of outsiders.

His distraught expression became serious, and he smoothly tidied his messy hair.

The door automatically split open, and Coulson entered.

"Sorry, Director, I wanted to schedule an appointment through the system in advance, but it seems there's a problem with the system." Coulson smiled apologetically at the door.

Since taking office, Tony had been constantly busy.

He had to conduct his own research while also handling the affairs of the Avengers.

Therefore, Agents had to schedule appointments through the system to see him.

Urgent appointments would be filtered by Jarvis and prompted directly.

However, Jarvis probably didn't have the luxury to handle these matters temporarily now.

After all, everyone knows that during a climax, a person's brain is blank, and evolving intelligent programs are no exception.

"It's not your problem, the system is under maintenance and will last about a week, so what's the matter?" Tony adjusted his collar.

"Dr. Banner is awake, Director," Coulson said, "He wants to leave now, and his attitude is very firm."

...

"You won't want to see the other big guy, let me leave here!"

When the three saw Banner, he was standing in front of Betty, confronting several Agents.

"Dr. Banner, please calm down. We are an international defense organization, different from the Military. We brought you here only to protect you and will not conduct human experiments on you!"

The leading Agent was Hawkeye.

He was very nervous, one hand already on the grip of his longbow.

The thought of Banner, who could turn into a monster at any moment, left him with no sense of security.

"Protect me? No, you're just afraid of me! I won't stay here, let me leave!"

Banner's emotions were getting the better of him, and green blood vessels faintly appeared beneath his skin.

Immediately, all the Agents tensed up, raising their guns in unison, disengaging the safety, ready to fire at any moment.

Facing so many muzzles, Banner instead calmed down after a few deep breaths.

He looked bitter: "See, you're not ready either. I should go somewhere where there are no people, because no one can control that big guy."

"That's not necessarily true." Leon stepped past Tony, "If you can't find a solution through technology, you can also try magic, Dr. Banner."

"magic?" Banner was startled when he saw Leon in uniform, "That uniform, are you Superman? You, you're as strong as you are in the videos!"

His face, etched with hardship, brightened somewhat: "I was still wondering how to find you and thank you!"

"You're welcome, that was actually Tony's fault too." Leon smiled.

Banner, however, shook his head: "Although I don't have that previous memory, Betty said that in the city, thanks to you knocking me out in time, I didn't continue to run wild in the streets.

Otherwise, who knows how many people would have perished tonight."

"And turn out to be Superman, you're also part of the Avengers? That's great, then I can later..."

As he spoke, his eyebrows drooped again, like two twisted caterpillars.

"No, it's impossible that you'll be there every time something unexpected happens to me. This time was fine, but there will always be a time when it causes big trouble."

Leon pressed Banner's shoulder: "Banner, you've got one thing wrong. I can't possibly keep an eye on you all the time, but you can."

"Myself? What does that mean?" Banner was puzzled.

"Something like this."

Leon lightly patted Banner's chest.

Banner only felt his internal organs shaking, and he uncontrollably stumbled backward.

Then a phantom Shadow rushed out of his body, floating in the air.

That was Banner's soul.

And his body collapsed to the ground like a rag doll from which the supports had been removed.

Everyone present widened their eyes.

Betty even covered her mouth, screaming as she rushed towards Banner.

Banner's soul was also bewildered: "What, what is this? Was I killed by Superman?"

He looked at his translucent hand, then at the "corpse" on the ground, and his decades of scientific research-built Worldview collapsed.

"This is magic," Leon said, "Star Projection, it can make your soul leave your body."

In the eyes of others, Leon was currently speaking to a mass of air, which was incredibly bizarre.

Tony walked forward, arms crossed, his eyes full of inquiry.

"You mean, you extracted Dr. Banner's soul? That's neither scientific nor Superman-like!"

He touched the air in front of Leon, his fingers passing through the chest of Banner's soul: "There's nothing here, where is he, in another dimension?"

"He's in the Spiritual Realm, a World unique to souls."

Leon snapped his fingers: "Might as well let all of you experience it."

As his words fell, everyone present had their souls leave their bodies.

"Oh oh oh!" Their bodies fell to the ground, and their souls floated into the air, making strange noises and looking at each other.

Tony immediately began experimenting, constantly trying to interact with objects.

Leon ignored the gesticulating souls and looked at Banner again.

"How is it? In your soul state, you should be able to feel the big guy inside you, right?"

He tapped Banner's forehead with his finger, and Banner's ethereal soul immediately split into another massive green figure.

"Roar! Hulk!" Hulk roared as soon as he appeared.

After seeing Leon, he even tried to attack the bad guy who had beaten him.

But as soon as his huge fist touched Leon, it passed straight through his chest.

"Roar?" Hulk looked at his fist in confusion, then swung another punch, which still had no effect.

His big eyes were filled with a small amount of confusion, and he tilted his head and squatted down, like an elementary school student studying an ant on the roadside, and began to constantly poke Leon's face with his finger.
