Chapter 85: The Spaceship Sets Sail

"Master, I have reported the situation here to the company as you instructed, but the company requires us to bring back all the Alien-related research data and one live embryo!" Carlo reported to Rosen.

After returning to the port with Wanda, Rosen had Carloact as the leader of the survivors and send a report on the Space Station's situation to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation Headquarters, stating that the spread of the Aliens had been contained.

Naturally, the report did not mention Rosen or Wanda.

It only contained news that the Security Forces, under Carlo's command, had calmly dealt with the Alienoutbreak crisis, fought bravely, and that nearly all non-combat personnel had been wiped out.

Of course, it also included the full story of extremist infiltration leading to the Alien crisis outbreak... This part required no fabrication. During Rosen's absence, the security personnel had investigated the Space Station's surveillance and access logs and discovered that Danny's group had used the authority of Cruz, the former Security Chief, to enter the Space Station.

However, compared to the Security Forces led by Carlosaving the Space Station, the Weyland-Yutani Corporation was clearly more concerned about the Alienembryo situation.

While demanding that the Security Forces evacuate and destroy the entire Space Station, they must take one live Alien embryo to the Hub Space Station in the nearest star system.

Clearly, for the powerful Weyland-Yutani Corporation, whose influence spans all human-controlled star systems, the destruction of a mere Space Station had little impact.

In contrast, the Alien research data and the live embryo were the most important assets.

"A live embryo isn't the problem, but we can't go to Earth?" Rosen couldn't help but frown upon hearing this.

Although he had killed all the Aliens and the people infected by them.

Fortunately, he had specifically saved two Alien eggs.

Giving one to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation was not an issue either.

Moreover, there are plenty of Aliens on Planet LV426 (the Planet from Alien 1 and 2). Once Rosen understands the situation in this Universe, he can get as many as he wants.

"I'm afraid not. If we bypass the Hub Space Station to gain clearance and head straight for Earth, we will be attacked by Military fleets along the route. Even if we are lucky enough to avoid the Military patrol fleets, we will still be intercepted by the Military of the Three Powersupon reaching the Solar System," Carlo said, shaking his head and dismissing Rosen's idea of going directly to Earth.

Through conversations with Carlo and the other locals, Rosen now had a general understanding of the distribution of human forces in the Alien Universe.

The human powers in the Alien World were no longer the two hundred-plus nations of the 21st century.

As early as the end of the 21st century, the Weyland-Yutani Corporation utilized its globally superior space colonization technology, uniting countries like the U.K., Japan, and India, and integrating Mars and Titan—the two earliest and largest human colonies—to establish the Three Realms Empire.

The so-called Three Worlds refers to the three "Worlds": Earth, Mars, and Titan.

And they were the first to begin expanding into Outer Space (the Universe beyond the Solar System).

To this day, the Three Realms Empire, supported by the technology of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, possesses the most extensive Outer Space colonies among human powers.

This is why the Weyland-Yutani Corporation has become the number one "villainous power" in the Alien Universeand is so immensely wealthy.

To counter the aggressive expansion of the Three Realms Empire.

The Eastern Bloc and the U.S. also rallied their own allies, establishing the Union of Progressive Peoples (UPP), led by the Eastern Bloc and Great Bear, and the Union of American States (UA), led by the U.S.

Although the Union of American States developed the earliest, a civil war caused it to lag slightly behind the other two major powers in overall development.

It can be said that the Alien Universe is one of the few Worlds among the Hollywood movie settings Rosen has seen where the U.S. does not hold the dominant advantage.

Competition among the three major powers in Outer Space is fierce, but since the Universe is vast, their competition over the past century has mainly focused on economic rivalry and small-scale conflicts.

Aside from the massive civil war that once broke out within the Union of American States, no other large-scale wars have occurred.

However, as security personnel for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, Carlo and the others only knew the basic facts about the three major powers.

Deeper information was beyond the scope of people at their level.

Furthermore, the Epsilon Space Station where they currently were is located in the outermost star system of the Three Realms Empire's expansion into Outer Space, extremely far from the domains of the other two major powers.

As a result, the fastest way for Rosen to contact the other two major powers was surprisingly to travel to Earth.

Rosen could only conclude that having too large a map wasn't necessarily a good thing.

"Forget it. A hub is a hub. How long will it take to get there?" Rosen asked.

"The fastest vessel on the Space Station is the Explorer Scientific Research Ship. It will take approximately two weeks to reach the Hub Space Station," Carlo replied.

"...In that case, let's not delay. Let's set off!" Rosen said, nodding without further comment.

"Yes, I will go prepare immediately!" Carlo gave Rosen a Military salute and left to make preparations.

"Didn't you say you wanted to go back to Universe 96283first?" Wanda asked Rosen after Carlo left.

"No rush. We'll wait until we are on the ship. That way we only need to return in two weeks and won't have to endure a tedious interstellar journey," Rosen explained.

Although the cryogenic sleep technology in this World is highly advanced, interstellar travel wouldn't actually be boring; you basically just sleep until you reach your destination.

But Rosen didn't want to put himself in a state of deep hibernation; it felt too insecure.

The cautionary tale of Ripley being infected by a Facehuggers during cryogenic sleep in Alien 3 is a clear example.

Moreover, the anchor point for the dark portal relies on a physical reference object, not a fixed coordinate in the Universe.

Therefore, after Rosen opens a portal on the ship to travel to another Universe, he will still return to the ship, so he doesn't need to worry about reappearing in the endless expanse of space after some time has passed.

This not only spares Rosen from boring space travel but also facilitates his "smuggling."

"That's true, but I actually quite wanted to experience interstellar travel!" Wanda thought about it and agreed. If they went back to Universe 96283 now, Rosen would definitely have many things to arrange, which would take a considerable amount of time.

Rather than making Carlo and the others wait during that process, it was better to return after the ship set sail.

"That's easy. We can just come back two days early. That way we can experience interstellar travel without getting too bored because the journey is too long," Rosen said.

"You promised!" Rosen's words made Wanda very happy.

"Have I ever lied to you?" Rosen retorted... Well, it seemed he had been "lying" all along.

Carlo and the Security Forces were highly efficient.

In just half an hour, they were ready to depart.

As the ship started, the Space Station's self-destruct sequence began its countdown.

"What a shame. The dark portal is too small, and the time is too short. Forget the Space Station, not even a shuttle can pass through!" Before the ship initiated FTL travel, Rosen stood by the viewport, looking at the Space Station exploding into a ball of light in the distance, sighing with regret.

The Weyland-Yutani Corporation might not feel bad about such a massive Space Station being destroyed, but Rosen felt a pang of regret.

After all, coming from the "countryside," he hadn't seen such fine things before.

Chapter 86: Gwen Stacy

"God, the intelligent programs of these two Androids are simply too perfect..." In the Osborn Group's laboratory, Dr. Otto looked at the intelligent programs of the two Androids connected to the computer and exclaimed in admiration, "If I can fully analyze them, the operating program of my intelligent mechanical arm will definitely be more perfect!"

"Why don't you stop tinkering with your trashy mechanical arm? Wouldn't it be better to make intelligent robots or external armor? You just have to stuff something into your cerebellum!" Ivan Vanko sneered, mocking, "Otherwise, if something goes wrong, you might really become a puppet of machines!"

Apparently, the two sides had significant differences in the application of intelligent machines.

Although Rosen had previously brought back the nuclear fusion technology perfected by Tony from the main Universe and had already begun experimental production, Dr. Otto did not abandon his research on intelligent mechanical arms due to the perfection of nuclear fusion technology. Instead, after coming into contact with many advanced technologies from the main Universe, he continued to refine and improve the mechanical arm technology.

Ivan Vanko, from the main Universe, was like Tony, more inclined to develop Iron Man Suits and robots.

Both were rather conceited geniuses, so naturally, neither would yield to the other.

However, with the mediation of Anton Vanko, ProfessorConnors, and Norman Osborn, their cooperation had been relatively smooth.

Only some verbal sparring was, of course, inevitable.

"What do you know? Even with external armor, it's still just a pair of hands. And how can having robots do things be as reliable as doing it yourself!" Dr. Otto scoffed.

"Alright, I won't interfere with your research directions in these areas. I only have two requirements: quickly decipher all information in their data chips, and all information, as well as their own data, is extremely important and must not be leaked in the slightest. I don't want to see anything related to them outside this laboratory, understand?" Rosen withdrew his gaze from the two disassembled Androids in the isolation room, interrupting their argument, and then said to the six people in the laboratory other than Wanda.

Because Androids possessed considerable combat power, for the safety of the research, the two Androids were directly disassembled by Rosen after he released them.

As someone who had mastered the 'Engineering' skill, Rosen, although still somewhat inferior to genius scientists like Stark and Otto in scientific research ability, was by no means weak in practical ability.

Disassembling two robots was not a big problem.

"Of course, sir, I will keep an eye on things here!" Obadiahsaid first.

"I will also handle all related matters properly and will definitely not delay your development plan, sir!" Norman immediately pledged his loyalty.

Several scientists also repeatedly agreed.

Besides Otto, Connors, and the Vanko Father and Son, Norman and Obadiah were also here.

These people were now considered Rosen's trusted subordinates in this World.

Moreover, after the Androids and all the technology from the Alien Universe were researched and prevented, they were to be mass-produced and applied in this World.

So, letting Norman and Obadiah know in advance was also necessary—with newer and sharper technology, Osborn's inventory, production lines, and even its industrial structure would all have to undergo major adjustments based on the deciphered information.

It is imaginable that Norman and Obadiah would be very busy for a long time in the future.

However, for people like them, this kind of busyness would only make them more excited!

Because now it was not just about money and power.

It was that they would become the pioneers of a new era.

"I am naturally confident in your abilities, but you don't have to rush for success. Everything should be done with stability as the priority. I will also try my best to bring some books and literature later. As long as you do your job well and follow my footsteps, not to mention wealth, you will lack nothing in terms of longevity, health, reputation, and life's pursuits!" Rosen nodded, not forgetting to paint a grand vision for everyone.

Then, he left the Osborn Group with Wanda.

However, after leaving the Osborn Group, Rosen was not in a hurry to return to the Alien Universe or the main Universe.

After all, the journey to the Alien Universe would take a full two weeks.

And less than a day had passed since they left.

As for the main Universe, only a few days had passed since they left.

Over there, Tony had just announced his identity as Iron Man, and the Red Room was developing steadily, so there wouldn't be much going on in the short term.

It would be better to take Wanda and briefly explore Universe 96283.

Previously, eager to go to the Alien Universe, Wanda had only passed through in a hurry and hadn't had a chance to explore this Universe.

Although this Universe's Earth was not much different from the main Universe's, and even a bit more backward, for Wanda, who had lived for years in war-torn Sokovia, it still held a sense of novelty.

Moreover, although this World was backward, not everything was the same as the main Universe.

For example, movies and TV shows would more or less have some differences.

Of course, the most essential thing was observing a certain Little Spider's daily routine of 'acting heroically and righteously'.

Because Rosen had previously 'dealt with' Norman and Doctor Octopus, two important super villains, for Little Spider.

So now, Tobey Little Spider's daily routine was just solving robberies, thefts, and various accidental rescue incidents.

Although simple, this was a good thing for Little Spider.

After all, the Little Spider of this World was not a troublemaker like the future Little Spider of the main Universe.

A simple life was quite good.

He could even date Mary Jane in his spare time.

Because Natasha had a relatively stable and well-paying job, and Natasha was currently the hottest female star and capitalist tycoon in this World.

Mary Jane was incredibly proactive towards Peter now, and their relationship could be said to have progressed by leaps and bounds.

However, Harry Osborn, who would originally have had a relationship with Mary Jane before Peter, perhaps due to Rosen's intervention causing Norman to involve him in group affairs earlier, did not have a relationship with MaryJane. Instead, he was getting close with a female intern named Felicia Hardy at the Osborn Group.

Hmm, in the Spider-Man comics, this girl might have another identity, that of the anti-hero "Black Cat."

And in The Amazing Spider-Man, such a character also briefly appeared.

But in this World, Rosen had already investigated; she was just an ordinary girl who had been sponsored by the Osborn Group and later joined the Osborn Group to work.

However, when Rosen saw Peter and Mary Jane getting close, he couldn't help but think of Gwen Stacy, who would only appear in the third movie and whose story ended without resolution in the Tobey Little Spider series, but who was the female protagonist in The Amazing Spider-Man series and many other Spider-Man comics.

In many Universes, she is Spider-Man's counterpart, Spider-Gwen.

If Gwen in this World were also bitten by a spider...

Chapter 87: Do You Want to Be Spider-Man?

"You go ahead and play, I just thought of something, and I need to leave for a bit!" Rosen said to Wanda.

"Okay, Teacher, please feel free to do so!" Wanda was a little surprised, but didn't say much.

After all, Rosen was her teacher, not someone else whose relationship centered around her; it was already quite good that he informed her.

Rosen didn't take much time to find the most famous and well-regarded "Spider-Man heroine" at Stacy's home.

There was no other way; just like in other Universes, Gwen's father was also the Director of the New YorkPolice Department, making her very easy for Rosen to find.

Today was the weekend, so Gwen didn't have to go to school and hadn't gone out. Instead, she was diligently consolidating her studies at home.

This also aligned with Rosen's understanding of the girl—in most Worlds, Gwen's behavior before encountering Peter was typically that of a "good girl" or "top student."

But a little deeper understanding would reveal that this was all just a facade.

Her inner "rebelliousness" and resilience were, if anything, even greater than that of Peter Parker, the traditional Spider-Man.

Rosen's arrival was silent—after all, he had directly blinked into Gwen's room.

After a while, Gwen, who was planning to rest, turned around and discovered Rosen sitting on the edge of her bed, shrouded in a cloak.

There was no scream like an ordinary girl's, only a brief silence and a faint sigh.

"Sir, are you encountering some difficulty because of my father? Perhaps you can tell me, and I might be able to help!" After sighing, Gwen took the initiative to ask Rosen, but her tensed body showed that she was not as calm as she appeared and was ready to resist at any moment.

Apparently, encountering intrusions from strangers was not the first time for Gwen Stacy.

There was no other way; having a father who was a Police officer, Gwen had encountered many dangerous situations since childhood.

And perhaps this was one of the reasons why, in some other Worlds, she was often kidnapped by Spider-Man's opponents but always showed such strength.

However, it was the first time someone like Rosen had silently entered her room.

"Don't misunderstand, Ms. Stacy, I'm here simply to find you; it has nothing to do with your father!" Rosen said, pulling back his hood to reveal his handsome face.

"————It seems so. In fact, I don't mind being pursued, but isn't it a bit much to come directly into my bedroom without permission?" Looking at Rosen's appearance and the mysterious aura about him, Gwen's eyes couldn't help but light up.

You have a point with your looks; I believe you!

"————" Now it was Rosen's turn to be a little flustered.

Indeed, this girl's "good girl" image was just a facade!

"Ahem, Ms. Stacy, what do you think of Spider-Man?" Rosen decisively changed the topic, leading it to "Spider-Man."

He planned to let Gwen choose whether to be bitten by the Super Spider.

Although he was curious if Gwen in this World would become Spider-Gwen, like in Universe 65, after being bitten by the Super Spider.

But he certainly couldn't just have the Super Spider bite Gwen right away.

Although Rosen considered himself not a good person, he wouldn't go so far as to forcefully experiment on an innocent girl just to satisfy his curiosity.

However, if it was Gwen's own choice, then there would be no problem.

"What do I think? Hmm————he's a good person?" Faced with Rosen's sudden question, Gwen hesitated for a moment before decisively giving Peter a 'good person card.' "Sir, why are you asking this? Do you want the New York Police Department to revoke his warrant? I'm sorry, I might not be able to help with that, and my father doesn't have that authority. In fact, it's the city government's decision!"

Gwen didn't think Rosen was Spider-Man, because if Spider-Man were to visit, why wouldn't he wear his Spider-suit?

She was more inclined to believe Rosen was a huge fan of Spider-Man————

"————Ms. Stacy, you've misunderstood again. What I mean is, if there was a skill that allowed you to have the same abilities as Spider-Man, would you be willing to take that risk?" Rosen, realizing the girl had misunderstood again, sighed helplessly and directly explained his purpose.

Communicating with someone who overthinks like this is the most tiring; it's better to be direct and straightforward.

"What? Let me also have the same abilities as Spider-Man? Sir, are you sure today isn't April Fool's Day?" Hearing Rosen's words, Gwen was stunned for a moment, then immediately retorted.

How could it sound so simple from Rosen's mouth to give someone Spider-Man's abilities?

Gwen clearly couldn't believe such an outrageous thing.

"————Of course not. In fact, in many parallel Universes, it's you who becomes Spider-Man, not Peter Parker!" To increase credibility and boost Gwen's confidence in becoming "Spider-Man," Rosen decisively told a small lie and smoothly sold Peter out.

"Other parallel Universes? Wait————you mean, Spider-Man is Peter Parker, my classmate?" Gwen hadn't even fully processed "parallel Universes" from Rosen's mouth when she heard even more shocking news.

Her seemingly goofy classmate, Peter Parker, was actually Spider-Man?

But thinking about Peter's usual hurried and often late situations.

If he was Spider-Man, everything seemed to make sense.

She truly hadn't expected Peter Parker to be so deeply hidden.

But Rosen just said that in some other parallel Universes, it was she who became Spider-Man? Not Peter Parker?

What was going on with that?

"As a genius girl in science and engineering, I imagine Ms. Stacy is no stranger to parallel Universe theory. What I want to tell you is that parallel Universes exist, and their number is beyond your imagination. And I, a magician, just happen to have a bit of ability to see some things happening in other Universes!" As Rosen spoke, he also condensed a rose from ice crystals in his hand and handed it to Gwen.

"Thank you————a very beautiful gift————So, Mr. Magician, may I ask your name?" Gwen took the rose with surprise. It was indeed condensed from ice; the person was actually a magician!

"Rosen!" Rosen smiled slightly, speaking his name.

A mysterious profession like a magician, just a slight display, is always so easy to gain trust!

"Okay, Rosen, can you tell me more about my story in other Universes?" While Gwen accepted Rosen's words, she didn't rush to ask about what he said about her becoming "Spider-Man."

Comparatively, she was more curious about her experiences in other Universes.

Rosen, of course, was well-prepared for this.

He immediately and calmly embellished the story of Spider-Gwen from Universe 65 and told it to Gwen.

Chapter 88: Iron Maiden

After Rosen finished telling the story of Spider-Gwen, Gwen was moved.

If not for the story of "Spider-Gwen," Gwen might still have hesitated.

Because, to some extent, her gaining Spider-Man's abilities now would be considered "competing" with Peter Parker.

Perhaps she herself, or even Peter, wouldn't be aware of this.

But when similar abilities are put together, it's hard for people not to compare them.

In Gwen's opinion, this would clearly be unfair to Peter, who became Spider-Man first.

However, with the story of "Spider-Gwen," the situation became different.

Gwen's thinking changed to: this should have been mine, why can't I have it?

"Rosen, are you sure that if I'm bitten by that spider, I'll also gain Spider-Man's abilities without any other accidents?" Gwen asked after a long deliberation, "I'm not scared, it's just, you know, I still have my parents, my younger brother, and my friends—"

Unlike Gwen from Earth-65, who came from a single-parent family with her mother long deceased and was an only child.

Gwen in this World, and Gwen in the transcendent World, both have their parents alive and a lovely younger brother.

While happier, she also has more concerns.

So, Gwen was incredibly tempted by Spider-Man's abilities but couldn't make a decision immediately.

"You can rest assured on that point. There are certainly some risks, but at most, it will only involve enduring pain that ordinary people cannot bear during the process. At worst, you'll suffer but still not gain the abilities. However, I can guarantee that your life will absolutely not be in danger!" Rosen promised with great certainty.

The reason he could be so certain was, of course, because he had a backup ability.

This backup was the Paladin's ultimate skill, Resurrection!

Although, like some other heroes' skills, Resurrection in reality also has significant limitations.

For example, the revived subject's death time cannot exceed one day, and their soul must be complete.

The cooldown period is as long as one day, and the number of resurrections per use has changed from 6 in the game to 1.

It cannot revive beings more powerful than oneself, and so on.

However, with preparation, saving Gwen's life would be absolutely no problem.

It's just that enduring some pain during the spider mutation process is unavoidable.

"Alright then, Mr. Rosen, I trust you—shall we start now?" After receiving Rosen's assurance, Gwen took a deep breath and agreed to the experiment.

"No need to rush. I'm a Mage, not a Wizard. I can't carry a spider with me at all times like a pet. I only came this time to ask for your opinion!" Rosen said, "If you're in a hurry, we can set the time for tomorrow, and I'll bring the spider."

Currently, those super spiders are in the laboratory at the Red Room headquarters in the main Universe, so he needs to go back and get them.

"—Alright, then same time tomorrow. I'll take the day off and wait for you at home?" Gwen was already starting to feel a little excited, but after she finished speaking, she couldn't help but blush slightly.

Because she suddenly felt that her words might have a double meaning.

"Of course, I'll see you then!" Rosen nodded.

"Honey, may I come in?" Just then, a gentle female voice suddenly sounded from outside Gwen's door.

It was Gwen's mother.

"Oh, not now, Mom—I—uh, wait, you can come in!" Hearing the voice, Gwen immediately tensed up. She was completely unprepared on how to explain the presence of a man in her room. But just as she spoke, she turned to tell Rosen to hide, only to find that Rosen's figure had completely vanished from the room.

Although she didn't know how Rosen did it, it seemed she didn't need to explain.

Gwen couldn't help but relax.

Is this what a Mage is like? Truly amazing.

"Honey, you should relax more on the weekend, don't overwork yourself!" At this moment, Gwen's mother walked in with some snacks and juice, saying to her.

However, while speaking words of concern for Gwen, her gaze subtly and quickly scanned the entire room.

Of course, the result was nothing.

"Okay, Mom, I know! I'll be careful!" Gwen didn't notice her mother's small actions; she just responded mechanically, her mind completely absorbed in the fact that she was about to become Spider-Man.

However, her somewhat absent-minded appearance had a completely different meaning in Mrs. Stacy's eyes.

Her daughter has something on her mind!

"And I clearly heard a man's voice just now, how could there be no one? Forget it, my daughter is grown up, it's not good to meddle too much." After leaving Gwen's room, Mrs. Stacy couldn't help but mutter to herself.

Leaving aside the interaction between Mrs. Stacy and her daughter.

On the other side, after leaving Gwen's home, Rosendirectly opened the dark portal and returned to the main Universe.

And he immediately found Melina at the Red Roomheadquarters.

To prevent Rosen from being unable to find someone when needed, trusted confidantes like Jessica, Natasha, and Melina generally carried a small mechanical animal with them at all times.

Of course, under normal circumstances, Rosen would also observe the environment in advance through the mechanical animal to determine if it was convenient to go over.

However, this time, Rosen was a little impatient and teleported directly.

Only after arriving did he realize that Melina was changing clothes—

Well, to be precise, she was changing into a battle suit, an Iron Man Suit.

However, it wasn't like Tony Stark's, but a relatively form-fitting, full-coverage metallic soft armor.

And Rosen was actually not unfamiliar with this soft armor.

Because in the Marvel What If...? Season 2, Episode 5, which Rosen watched before his transmigration, in Captain Carter's Universe, Melina appeared wearing this "battle suit" as the actual controller of the Red Room in that World.

In the comics, Melina also has a similar appearance.

And it was because of this armor that she had another title besides Black Widow—the Iron Maiden.

After putting on this battle suit, Melina, while not as versatile as Tony's Iron Man Suit.

Still maintained the agility and combat skills of a Black Widow, and her strength and defense were greatly enhanced.

If it weren't for a "plot kill," Natasha in that Universewould have suffered greatly.

Rosen hadn't expected Melina to produce this battle suit so soon after he left.

"Nice battle suit, what made you think of getting something like this?" Although the timing of his arrival was a bit off, Rosen showed no awkwardness and spoke freely, looking at the battle suit.

Well, mainly because when he integrated the Red Roomearlier, Rosen had already thoroughly explored Melina's depths—the thirty-something Melina was at her most charming age, and her attraction to Rosen was no less than that of the youthful and beautiful Natasha, so there was nothing to be awkward about.

As for Melina, she would be even less awkward—

Because, just like Natasha back then, it was Melina who initiated it—

Chapter 89: It's Time to Dig Him Out

"It's all because you and Natasha beat me up in a mecha back then. With this battle suit, the next time I face a similar opponent, at least I won't be unable to get up after taking just one hit!" Hearing Rosen's question, Melinarolled her eyes and said irritably.

That's right, the reason Melina thought of creating this battle suit wasn't due to Tony's influence; it was purely the result of being beaten up by Natasha in a mecha last time.

As for why she didn't make an Iron Man Suit like Tony's, or a mecha like Rosen's, it was to better suit her own combat style.

The Iron Man Suit is very useful, and it can't be said that it's unsuitable for close combat.

But for a Black Widow whose fighting style leans towards agility, it is indeed a bit too rigid.

"The idea is good, but the material is still lacking!" Rosenfelt the material of the battle suit; with just a little force, it showed extremely obvious deformation.

The material of this battle suit is actually not bad, in no way inferior to the Gold-Titanium Alloy currently used in Tony's Iron Man Suit.

As a Super Scientist capable of designing and building a Floating City, Melina is quite skilled in material research.

However, Rosen's current strength long ago surpassed one thousand, exceeding the standard by an insane amount, and it simply cannot be withstood by conventional materials on Earth.

"Damn it, the processing and repair of the materials used in this suit are very complex, and it took me a lot of time to complete it!" Seeing Rosen casually ruin the masterpiece she had finally finished, Melina couldn't help but complain, "This is already the best material I could get!"

"I brought back some new material data and samples this time. See if they are useful. Later, I'll figure out a way to get you some Vibranium; that stuff is the best material for making this kind of close-fitting armor!" Facing Melina's complaints, Rosen replied nonchalantly.

Although in the Alien Universe, Rosen has only contacted one Weyland Space Station so far, and it is mainly focused on Alien research.

The chip information from the two captured Androids has only just begun to be deciphered.

However, in the Space Station's database, there is actually some information that is relatively "outdated" and does not require confidentiality.

This data holds little value in the Alien World, but it is still very advanced for the Main Universe and Universe 96283.

As for material samples, it's even simpler.

Even a common external metal plate from a super-large Space Station like Epsilon is likely stronger than the conventional materials currently existing on Earth in the Main Universe.

It can even be compared to materials possessed by some alien civilizations in the Main Universe.

The Osborn Group kept a copy of this data and these materials.

And on the Main Universe side, they were originally meant to be handled by the Red Room—the Red Roomitself also possesses many of its own technological industries.

Although it cannot be compared with the Osborn Groupin Universe 96283 or Stark Industries in the Main Universe.

But for the current stage, it is sufficient.

Of course, limited by Rosen's not-so-large System Space, the material samples brought back were not numerous.

But sparing a small amount to make a battle suit for Melina is still more than enough.

Moreover, using them to make a battle suit and using them for sample research are not mutually exclusive!

However, no matter how advanced the materials from the Alien Universe are, they still cannot compare with Vibranium. Especially the properties of Vibranium are too suitable for making battle suits.

Not to mention, the development direction of Melina's battle suit can be said to be consistent with the Black Panther Suit.

"Then I'll be waiting for your Vibranium. But since your return was so sudden, it shouldn't just be to deliver data and samples, right?" Melina asked after Rosen finished speaking.

"That's right. The main reason for coming back this time is that I want to use Super Spider No. 1, and also check on the development progress of the Spider Serum!" Rosenreplied.

Super Spider No. 1 is the one that bit Peter.

"The time is too short. My researchers and I have only just finished absorbing the data you brought back. Forget about the finished serum; even preliminary experiments have just begun. This is a long-term project. Aren't you too impatient to ask for progress now?" Melina frowned upon hearing this.

"I'm not that impatient; I was just asking casually. Using Super Spider No. 1 is the main priority." Rosen naturally understood that Genetic Serums weren't easy to produce, so he wouldn't criticize his subordinates over this.

"That's certainly fine. The venom from those Super Spiders has accumulated quite a bit during this time, enough for research. However, if you really want to speed up the research process, I think blood samples from some successful mutants could provide significant help!" Melinasaid.

"Blood samples? No problem!" Hearing Melina's words, Rosen thought for a moment before replying. Getting some of Peter Parker's blood wouldn't be difficult for him.

Furthermore, besides Peter Parker, if Gwen successfully mutates, it will be even simpler. Rosen believes she wouldn't refuse this small request.

"Speaking of the Spider Serum, perhaps the Super Soldier Serum should also be put on the agenda. If we had blood and serum samples from a Super Soldier, do you think it would help the research into the Spider Serum?" At this moment, Rosen couldn't help but think of Captain America, as well as that HYDRA-affiliated Super Soldier research Base in the North Pole.

After chatting with the Old Captain America who was hiding in this World, the appearance of the dark portalmade him somewhat forget about this Universe's Captain America.

"Uh—if you're referring to someone like Aleksei, I don't think he would be of much use!" Melina said with a look of distaste.

After the Red Room was taken over by Rosen, Melina and the group of Black Widows under her leadership accepted Rosen's recruitment without much surprise.

However, the Red Guardian was unable to accept the reality that his former friend Dreykov was an ambitious villain, so he refused the recruitment and left the Red Room.

Apparently, he is currently working at a cold drink store in Ermao—

As for the serum Aleksei used, it was developed during the Mao Xiong era, when Mao Xiong created it by capturing and studying U.S. Black Super Soldier test subjects.

He was the only successful one—as for the effect...

In terms of overall standard, there is a certain gap compared to Super Soldiers like Winter Soldier and Captain America, but it is not large.

The biggest flaw, however, is poor stamina; he is not skilled in prolonged combat like Captain America and other Super Soldiers.

This is also why Melina said his serum has little research value.

"Of course I wasn't talking about him, but Captain America, the true Super Soldier, and the Winter Soldier—I think you know him!" Rosen replied.

"Of course. The Neural Node Blueprint we stole when I was undercover in Ohio was a branch of the Winter Soldier Program!" As a previous generation Black Widow, Melina's understanding of the Winter Soldier was higher than many others. "If it's them, then there should be considerable research value—but Captain America, he's not dead?"

"A legend of his generation doesn't retire from the Worldstage that easily. It's time to dig him out!"

Rosen said with a smile.

Chapter 90: Stunned Gwen

Rosen didn't stay at the Red Room Headquarters for long. He just had Melina arrange a team to head to Siberia in advance to prepare to deal with that Base in a few days.

Although in the Original Timeline, when Tony and Captain America went to that Base, it was already deserted, with only five frozen Super Soldiers remaining.

But that was because, at that time, the Avengers had essentially wiped out HYDRA's main force, which led to the Base being completely sealed.

Now, however, HYDRA's power is at its peak.

The defenses of that Base could be said to be extremely tight.

Of course, no matter how tight the security of that Basewas, if Rosen acted personally, he could easily handle it.

But he is no longer a lone wolf; he is the leader of a powerful faction.

If he still does everything himself, what was the point of expending effort to bring the Red Room under his command?

Besides the Red Room, this operation also happens to provide Gwen, who might soon become "Spider-Gwen," with a Practical Combat Opportunity. Rosen's benefits aren't free; she has to do some work, right?

Although the modification of Gwen was just a spur-of-the-moment idea.

Rosen doesn't lack her meager combat power.

But the necessary attitude must still be maintained.

Taking the Super Spider, Rosen turned and returned to 96283.

Since the time scheduled with Gwen hadn't arrived yet, Rosen wasn't in a hurry to go. Instead, he found Wanda, who was currently with Natasha and her sister.

"This is the Super Spider? Why did you bring it back?" Seeing the box in Rosen's hand and the spider inside.

Natasha recognized at a glance that this was the one that bit Peter.

Furthermore, she was the first person to learn about the Super Spider from Rosen.

Not to mention, she is also Peter's "Teacher."

Thus, she was very familiar with this spider.

"Yes, I remembered an interesting girl, so I plan to run an experiment?" Since there was nothing to hide about this matter, Rosen answered directly.

"Oh? What kind of girl could make Teacher care so much?" Hearing Rosen's words, Wanda, who had been quietly drinking tea nearby, immediately perked up her ears and asked with a curious expression.

"An Alternate Version of a certain Super Hero from another World—she also has some connection to Peter, but their relationship isn't that close in this World!" Rosenthen briefly explained the complex relationship between Gwen, Spider-Gwen, and Peter and Gwen in other Universes.

The three women, including Wanda, listened very carefully.

For them, listening to Rosen tell stories about the Multiverse was very interesting.

It had become their favorite form of entertainment, much like listening to a novel.

If Rosen wasn't their Teacher and Master, their superior.

They would definitely pester Rosen every day to tell them stories.

"Although Spider-Gwen's life is exciting, it's too rough. I hope the Gwen in this World won't be like that—but why do I suddenly feel like anyone who becomes Spider-Manis destined to be a Lone Star of Misfortune?" Wandacouldn't help but sigh after hearing Rosen recount the series of stories about Gwen.

"It really seems so. The original Peter was like this, and Spider-Gwen is also like this—" Natasha and Yelenathought about it, and it seemed to be true.

Rosen had also told them Peter Parker's original life trajectory as a story.

Hearing their sigh, Rosen couldn't help but look a bit strange.

If you really want to talk about being a Lone Star of Misfortune, all three of you had it worse than Peter, alright?

Peter in this World might be miserable, but at least he still has Aunt Mei and Mary Jane constantly by his side.

Spider-Gwen, at least, has her father alive, and she has Spider-Man friends from other Universes.

And no matter how bad things got for them, they at least had a relatively complete childhood.

What about you?

Wanda's parents died young, and Natasha and Yelenadon't even know what their parents looked like.

Their lives in the original timeline weren't exactly great either.

Rosen's strange gaze was quickly noticed by the three women.

Wanda was okay; although her childhood wasn't too fortunate, she at least had a brother, and Rosen hadn't told her about her original future life.

But Natasha and Yelena were not amused at all.

"We really don't seem much better off than them—" Yelena gave a dry laugh and glanced at her "sister."

"Is that so? With Master here, I think my life is quite good!" Natasha only paused for a second before looking at Rosen with a charming expression and saying.

Seeing this, Yelena twitched her lips—when it came to seduction, she truly couldn't compare to her Cheap Sister.

And Wanda's gaze toward Natasha subtly carried a hint of displeasure.

However, she hid it well, and everyone's attention wasn't focused on her.

So, no one noticed.

"Teacher, can you take me with you then? I'm quite interested in Ms. Stacy and would like to make friends with her." Wanda pleaded with Rosen.

"Of course, this isn't a big deal!" Rosen agreed without hesitation.

"Can we go too?" Hearing this, Yelena also became interested.

Natasha also looked at Rosen with a hopeful expression.

"Fine, if you want to go, then all of you go!" Rosencouldn't help but chuckle when he saw this, wondering why they had all become Curious Babies.

While joking, the entire itinerary was decided.

As for the opinion of the subject who was about to be observed—Gwen herself—it was decisively ignored by everyone!

Hmm, Test Subjects have no human rights!

Soon, the time Rosen and Gwen had agreed upon arrived.

Rosen performed a Group Teleportation, accompanied by a flash of light.

The four people appeared in Gwen's bedroom.

To make it easier to return, Rosen had secretly placed a Small Mechanical Animal in Gwen's room when he left yesterday.

Fortunately, the Stacy Family's conditions were good, and Gwen's room was large enough; otherwise, four people squeezed together would have been quite awkward.

Even so, Gwen, the room's owner, was completely stunned.

It wasn't because of how the four of them appeared.

In fact, Gwen, having prepared herself mentally, wouldn't have lost her composure regardless of how Rosenappeared.

But the problem was: why were there so many people?

The former Gwen had always been a cheerful and optimistic person in life.

But now, she truly felt she had a bit of Social Anxiety.

The only thing that gave her slight comfort was probably that the people Rosen brought were all girls around her age, not a group of men.

"Ah, sorry, Gwen, I forgot to mention it, but they're all your fans. You don't mind, right?" Seeing the stunned Gwen, Rosen offered a very insincere apology.

Chapter 91: Teacher, You're So Proficient!

Although Gwen was quite displeased about suddenly becoming the center of attention,

the thought of becoming Spider-Gwen made her suppress that slight dissatisfaction.

Of course, another reason was that among the people who arrived, she discovered Natalia Rushman, the big star who had recently become famous across the U.S.

Yes, that's right. Natasha's official name in this World is Natalia Rushman, not Natasha Romanoff.

She also used this name when undercover at Stark Industries in the original timeline.

Moreover, it wasn't entirely an alias.

Because Natasha was originally just a nickname; Natalia was her real name.

As for the surname, it was even less important, as Natasha's true parents didn't have that surname.

All Black Widow members were essentially sent to training camps in their childhood, and their names and identities were randomly assigned.

And the surname Romanoff was too regionally specific.

So, even in the Main Universe, when performing missions outside of Eastern Europe, she primarily used the surname Rushman.

Therefore, when creating an identity for herself in this World, Natasha chose not to use the Romanoff surname given by the Red Room, which was also a way to cut ties with her unpleasant past.

From the current perspective, Natasha's choice to become a star in this World had some advantages.

At least, when approaching Peter before, and now when approaching Gwen, it was relatively easier to gain their trust and the trust of those around them.

Sure enough, after getting through the initial 'awkward stranger phase,' Gwen quickly became familiar with Natasha and the other two women.

"Ahem, Ms. Stacy, we are here for business today, not to chase stars!" Seeing the four women chatting more and more excitedly, Rosen had to step in and interrupt them.

"Sorry, I got a little too excited. So, Mr. Rosen, where should we start?" Gwen asked, a bit embarrassed.

"It's simple, just put your hand in and let it bite you!" Rosen extended his hand, and a spider box appeared in it.

Inside the spider box, a colorful spider was leisurely resting on its web.

"—Just like that?" Although Gwen had previously learned from Rosen that Spider-Man gained his abilities because he was bitten by this spider,

when it was her turn, she still felt a bit speechless.

Mainly, wasn't this process too simple? And this spider clearly looked very venomous.

If she didn't know for sure that the elusive Rosenwouldn't need such trouble to harm her, she would genuinely think Rosen was trying to hurt her.

"Just like that!" Rosen nodded. "If you're scared, I can help you a little!"

"Uh—I'll do it myself!" For some reason, her instinct told Gwen that Rosen's 'help' would definitely not be a good thing, so she decisively chose to do it herself!

After Rosen opened the box, Gwen gritted her teeth and, as if going to the execution ground, resolutely put her hand into the spider box.

Super Spider No. 1 in the spider box, suddenly disturbed, was quite cooperative and bit Gwen's fair and tender hand.

"Ah—" Gwen, bitten, couldn't help but cry out in pain.

Fortunately, her parents were not home today, and her brother was at school.

So there was no need to worry about causing misunderstandings.

"Is that enough? It bit me twice!" Gwen asked Rosen, enduring the pain after being bitten.

"—One bite is enough!" Rosen raised an eyebrow. Didn't they say she was an honor student? Why did this girl not seem so smart?

Hearing this, Gwen quickly withdrew her hand.

And Super Spider No. 1, having been startled and injected venom into Gwen twice, seemed to have withered and huddled motionless in the corner of the spider box.

Most animal venoms are highly concentrated proteins, and the production of each drop consumes a lot of nutrients. If too much is injected at once, it is very taxing on their bodies—hmm? Is something not quite right?

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Gwen, after being bitten, withdrew her hand and asked Natasha and the other two women, who were curiously looking at her, helplessly.

"Nothing, just wanted to see if you'd grow six more arms!" The lively Yelena joked.

Hearing this, Gwen's face instantly darkened, and she looked at Rosen.

"—Don't worry, don't listen to this girl's nonsense. Look, Peter was bitten almost a year ago, has he grown a third arm?" Rosen asked with a wry smile.

Although in a few Universes, such as the Ultimate Universe, Spider-Man did have plots where he turned into a Spider Monster, that only happened under the influence of various external factors like Savage Toxins.

And Spider-Man in this World, apart from having a bad back, has not experienced such a situation in at least the next two decades.

Spider-Gwen has also not experienced such a situation.

With Rosen's assurance, Gwen finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Do you feel uncomfortable now?" Natasha asked with some concern.

"Besides still being a bit sore, I don't feel too uncomfortable!" Gwen said after feeling herself slightly. She didn't seem to feel the Spider-Sense Rosenmentioned earlier.

"How could it be that fast? When Peter was bitten, he continued to tour for several hours before starting to feel unwell, then he struggled to get home and slept for a whole night to complete all the mutations!" Rosenexplained.

"—It seems I'll have to wait longer—oh no—what if my parents come back later?" Gwen suddenly remembered a very serious problem.

"That's simple. Today you met a new classmate, Yelena, and then you met her sister, Natasha, and accepted an invitation to stay at her house—I imagine your parents wouldn't mind you staying overnight at a female friend's house, right?" Rosen casually offered an idea.

Then he saw the four girls all looking at him.

"—Is there something wrong with the idea I just said?" Rosen asked, somewhat puzzled by their reaction.

"No, nothing, it's a very good idea, it just feels like Teacher, you're a bit too proficient in this area!" Wandasaid with a strange expression.

Natasha, Yelena, and Gwen all nodded in agreement—

Rosen was speechless, merely silently initiating a group teleportation to Natasha's Villa.

Chapter 92: Why Can't You Shoot Webs?

After arriving at Natasha's house, Gwen followed Rosen's instructions and, together with Natasha, made an international video call to her mother to inform her that she would be staying overnight.

Hmm, they used a video landline phone.

To be honest, before Rosen came to this Universe, he had never actually seen a physical example of this kind of old-fashioned video landline.

Mainly because in his previous life, the development of Dongda was too fast, changing every day.

Pagers, a relatively common communication tool, were phased out by mobile phones within a few years of their popularization.

Even landline phones were rarely seen before Rosentransmigrated here.

They were generally only found in places like hotel front desks and other office settings.

Not to mention the relatively more expensive video landlines, which didn't even have a chance to become popular in Dongda.

As for the Main Universe, Rosen transmigrated there in 2007, and mobile video calling was already widespread—in the Universe Rosen came from before transmigrating, Sony Ericsson released a video calling phone in 2003, and the Main Universe's technological development speed was even faster than the Universe Rosen came from.

Therefore, it was only in Universe 96283, where technology was relatively backward, that Rosen could see the video landline, a device that was essentially a flash in the pan.

Moreover, this item was also considered a "luxury item" in the United States during this era.

Fortunately, Gwen's father was the Director of the New York Police Department, placing him firmly in the upper strata of society in the U.S. with a high income.

An average working-class family might not have been willing to spend money to install such "high technology."

However, with Rosen's arrival, this type of temporary "high technology" in this Universe wouldn't last much longer.

Not to mention that the technology from the Alien Universe is being cracked, even the technology Rosenpreviously brought from the Main Universe is vastly more advanced than this World's.

The full-featured smart phone, the "Osborn" Generation One, along with several other products, had already been announced and launched a month ago, thanks to the Osborn Group operating at full capacity.

It was just that because the release time was so short, they were currently in a state of "short supply."

Just as Rosen had anticipated, although Mrs. Stacy was somewhat surprised that her daughter had befriended a big star like Natasha, she didn't think much of it and approved her daughter's application to stay overnight.

However, after hanging up the video call, Gwen began to show symptoms of poisoning.

Symptoms like dizziness and fever followed one after another.

Although he had anticipated these superficial characteristics, just in case, Rosen still cast a Healing Spell on Gwen, then instructed Natasha and Yelena to take careful care of her—expecting Rosen to handle such trivial matters himself was clearly wishful thinking.

Of course, if the person were Wanda, that would be a different story.

After all, Wanda's value in every aspect made it worthwhile for Rosen to do so.

Although Gwen was also good, she was far from meeting that standard.

Hmm—Rosen was just such a pragmatic and hypocritical person!

Nevertheless, this didn't prevent Rosen from seeing a brand new, energetic Spider-Gwen early the next morning.

Along with a gloating Natasha, Wanda, and a dejected Yelena.

"You look quite energetic. It seems everything went smoothly. You don't feel uncomfortable anywhere, do you?" Rosen asked after looking Gwen up and down.

"No, I only feel better than ever before!" Gwen excitedly pumped her fist and waved her hand. "Rosen, thank you so much!"

"As long as you feel good!" Rosen nodded.

He just didn't know if it was his imagination, but the Gwen in front of him seemed to have increased by one size compared to yesterday.

Why did spider mutation also include body enhancement?

But thinking about it, it made sense. When Peter Parkermutated, his physique also changed from a skinny stick to a muscular man.

The only problem was that this World's Gwen was already quite well-endowed.

With this mutation, her size was almost catching up to Natasha's.

In comparison—Rosen's gaze shifted to Yelena—well, it was better not to mention it.

"What happened to her this time?" Rosen asked Natasha, pointing at the dejected Yelena.

"What else could it be? She saw Gwen successfully mutate and wanted to test the quality of Spider-Man, and she got defeated!" Natasha revealed her sister's embarrassment without hesitation.

Seriously, without wearing the magic equipment Rosenhad previously given her to enhance her physical fitness, she wouldn't even consider sparring with Peter.

Let alone Yelena, who hadn't even formally graduated from the Red Room yet?

Did she really think that relying on so-called combat skills could erase the gap between her and a Stat Monster?

Of course, if it were a real death match, Yelena, trained in the brutal environment of the Red Room, still had a decent chance of defeating Gwen, who was still a combat rookie.

But sparring was out of the question.

"Don't be too pessimistic. You're actually quite useful, at least you can serve as entertainment to cheer everyone up!" After learning the situation, Rosen "encouraged" Yelena without holding back.

Hearing this, Yelena lowered her head even further.

It was a disgrace. Forget Rosen; the mentally strong Yelena didn't care about such harmless, teasing mockery.

The key was losing face so badly in front of Natasha, making her, who had always looked up to Natasha, extremely frustrated.

"Come with me. Let me see your current skill level too. If you qualify, I'll take you to participate in an important mission in real combat in a few days!" After mocking Yelena, Rosen turned his attention back to the slightly embarrassed Gwen.

"Ah? Really? Like a real Super Hero?" Hearing this, Gwenbecame highly excited.

"Of course. I'll also introduce you to some new friends then!" Seeing Gwen so excited, Rosen couldn't help but keep her in suspense.

Perhaps besides Jessica, the Homelander, adding a Ghost-Spider to the Avengers from the Main Universewouldn't be a bad idea either.

"I can't wait any longer, let's start now!" Gwen was eager to prove herself.

Rosen didn't hesitate either. He took Gwen to the training ground, ready to test the level of this Spider-Gwen he had created on a whim.

However, it wasn't long before Rosen noticed something was wrong.

"Wait—why can't you shoot webs?" Rosen asked, looking at Gwen, whose abilities were otherwise identical to this World's Peter, but who was uniquely unable to spray webs from her own body.

"—So—am I supposed to?" Gwen, who had been excited about her new abilities, looked utterly bewildered by Rosen's question.

—Theoretically speaking, most Spider-Men across the Multiverse do not shoot webs from their own bodies.

But the problem is that this Universe's Peter is an exception.

And as an ability user whose origin is completely identical to this World's Peter, how can you not have this ability?

Rosen expressed his dissatisfaction internally!

Chapter 93: Bitter Cold Wind

Although Rosen felt a bit regretful that Gwen couldn't shoot webs naturally.

Overall, however, it wasn't a major issue.

In fact, this was more in line with the original Spider-Gwen and Spider-Men from other Universes.

Furthermore, lacking this ability didn't prevent Gwen from developing a Web-Shooter based on Rosen's suggestion and her own capabilities.

After all, the Gwen of this World wasn't a bookworm.

Like Peter, she majored in biochemistry in college, and she was exceptionally talented.

With Rosen providing the concept and securing a small sample of Peter's webbing.

Coupled with the experimental equipment and assistance from relevant Researchers provided by the Osborn Group.

In just two days, Gwen successfully created a pair of Web-Shooters and managed to get a preliminary grasp of how to use them.

She barely managed to catch up to Rosen's next plan of action.

It was only then that Gwen realized what she was about to face.

"So, the first combat test you prepared for me is going to your Universe to eliminate that secret research Basebelonging to the HYDRA organization?" Gwen's eyes widened.

"Of course. Compared to our Universe, your Universe is too peaceful; there's no scope for you to show off your skills. Or are you, like Peter, content with dealing with petty thieves?" Rosen immediately switched to persuasion mode.

"Absolutely not! To be a hero, you have to do big things. I'm going!" Gwen slammed the table and declared.

The next day, following a flash of teleportation light, Rosen, along with Wanda and Gwen, appeared in a courtyard in the nearest small town to the Chukotka Mountains, located in the far northeast of the Hairy Bear.

"It's way too cold here!" As a biting wind swept past, even Gwen, who had prepared beforehand and bundled herself up tightly, couldn't help but shiver.

Spider-Man's powerful physique did not offer her much help in this extreme cold.

Even her Spider-Sense, which she had just gotten used to, became somewhat sluggish in this environment.

There was nothing she could do; after all, spiders also fear the cold.

--

Especially since it was still winter in the Main Universe, temperatures in the Chukotka Region consistently hovered below minus thirty degrees Celsius.

It was unbearably cold.

"Didn't you boast before we came that you weren't afraid of the cold?" Rosen chuckled upon hearing this.

Unlike Gwen, who was completely bundled up, Rosenand Wanda were dressed as usual, still wearing their thin Magic Robes.

They completely disregarded the bitter cold wind.

However, if one looked closely, they would notice a layer of crystalline energy protection faintly shimmering around Rosen and Wanda.

Spell: Frost Armor.

This was originally just a simple defensive Skill.

However, after using this Skill, Rosen discovered that besides providing him with powerful defense.

It surprisingly also possessed the ability to "keep warm."

Moreover, it was the kind that was warm in winter, cool in summer, and protected against wind and dust.

Its principle was similar to the effect of an "Igloo."

Thus, given that Rosen already possessed a super strong physique and super defense.

The Frost Armor Skill instead became an "air conditioning" type Skill.

"Alright, alright, fine, your Mages are amazing! I only thought it wasn't that cold because I saw you and Wandanot doing any cold-weather preparations, didn't I?" Gwensaid, running past the Black Widow Agents who came to greet them and entering the house.

She glanced at Rosen and Wanda with undisguised envy.

Neither Natasha nor Yelena followed along for this operation.

After all, there were so many Black Widow Agentss in the Main Universe; they weren't needed.

Neither of them needed to prove themselves through this mission.

"Master, this is the topographic map of the entire Base. We completed it in two days with the help of Teresa. The Base's defenses are extremely tight; infiltrating it without an inside contact would be nearly impossible!" After entering the house, Melina, who had been waiting inside, ushered the three of them into the study.

Two days ago, Melina had already arrived at the small town with several elite Black Widows and conducted a preliminary investigation of the HYDRA Base.

Unlike in Captain America 3, when Zemo discovered it, this Base had been abandoned because the HYDRAfaction led by Alexander Pierce had been completely eradicated.

During this period, when HYDRA's influence was still at its "peak," the Base's defenses were extremely strict.

If Rosen hadn't activated the sleeper Black Widow Agents—codenamed Banshee within HYDRA, who already held a significant position in the Base—Theresa Cassidy.

Even for Melina, the previous generation's Black Widow, it would not have been easy to figure out the situation of the entire Base.

"Isn't Teresa here?" Rosen asked, glancing at the Black Widows waiting inside the room.

"The management of this Base is very strict; leaving the Base alone is not allowed. She only managed to meet me once by utilizing a materials transport opportunity!" Melina replied.

"Do you have a preliminary plan for the operation then?" Rosen nodded and asked again.

"Yes, our luck is quite good. According to the intelligence provided by Teresa, a new Researcher will be delivered to this Base tomorrow morning, and among those responsible for the escort, the Winter Soldier happens to be present!" Melina revealed news that slightly surprised Rosen.

"This truly is effortless gain! It seems even Heaven is hoping Captain America and his good buddy reunite soon!" Rosen couldn't help but sneer upon hearing this.

"Teacher, have you already found Captain America?" Wanda couldn't help but ask.

"Not yet, but it shouldn't be too difficult!" Rosen said. "I will leave to find him shortly, so this Base will be handed over to you!"

"Don't worry, Teacher, I will handle everything!" Wanda's gaze sharpened upon hearing this.

This was considered her first truly solo mission since becoming Rosen's Disciple.

She absolutely could not mess it up.

"I definitely won't drop the ball either!" Gwen quickly promised when she saw this.

"Of course, I am confident in your abilities, but you still need to pay attention to the Winter Soldiers, as others do not possess your strength," Rosen said with a slight smile.

"Is that Winter Soldier guy really strong?" Gwen couldn't help but ask upon hearing that.

"Just average. He's very strong compared to ordinary people, but for you, it's nothing to worry about!" Rosenreplied, simultaneously recalling the scene in Captain America 3 where the Little Spider of this Universe easily subdued the Winter Soldier.

Chapter 94 – Poaching People

The HYDRA Base was left to Melina and the Black Widows.

With Wanda and Gwen's overwhelming fire-power and an inside man, taking the Base wouldn't be hard.

Besides, every one of them carried a mechanical critter.

If they met an opponent they couldn't handle, they could contact Rosen for backup at any time.

So, after giving his instructions, Rosen left the town alone and headed for the waters off Greenland.

As he kept moving north, hunched figures began to appear beside him—one after another.

Undead, countless Undead.

Even though it was the freezing polar region,

over the past millennium countless living beings had come here and perished in the snow.

The cold had perfectly preserved their corpses.

Today, under Rosen's necromantic summons, those slumbering creatures rose again from the frozen earth.

Gradually they formed a vast, motley Undead legion.

Polar Bears, arctic foxes, Reindeer, arctic wolves, musk oxen, humans—every kind of Undead was present.

Even in the sky, Undead Terns were reanimated.

The creatures Rosen revived were not strong.

He'd only granted them the barest Dark Mana needed to move; no enhancements were added.

An ordinary person with a gun could take any of them down.

But Rosen had never intended them for battle—he needed trackers.

Although frozen for decades, Captain America trapped in the glacier was still alive.

And nothing senses the living better than the Undead.

In the Arctic, they made the perfect "search dogs".

Yet even so, relying on them alone to comb the immense Arctic for a frozen Captain was still insufficient.

Fortunately, Rosen's confidence didn't rest only on the Undead—he also had memories of the movies he'd seen in his past life.

In the Iron Man 2 post-credits scene, Tony and Nick Furymeet at a S.H.I.E.L.D. Base.

On its holographic map, the exact spot where Cap was found was marked.

A tiny dot on the map still translates to a huge area in reality,

but for the Undead legion it was detailed enough.

Sure enough, after the Undead had wandered for a dozen hours,

those in one direction finally sent Rosen good news.

Yet when Rosen arrived, he found only an empty ice field—nothing in sight.

He wasn't particularly surprised.

In the original timeline, the Valkyrie Aircraft holding Cap wasn't pushed to the surface until years later by glacial movement.

Right now it was almost certainly still buried beneath the ice.

"Dig it out!" At his order, countless Undead began clawing with their frail bones.

Minutes later, dozens had snapped their pitiful bones while the ice hadn't even lost a meter—Rosen realized what a stupid command he'd given.

Undead make tireless laborers, true,

but they're far too fragile.

"Fine—I'll do it myself!"

Rosen sighed and began to summon a Hellfire.

Ice, after all, calls for fire.

A green meteor fell,

and soon a towering Hellfire stood upon the ice plain.

There was no need to dig; the Fel flames wreathing the Hellfire simply melted and collapsed the ice.

With Rosen tossing an occasional Flame Storm,

the seemingly eternal glacier melted dozens of meters down, finally revealing the Valkyrie Aircraft.

"Melina, how's your side?" Only then did Rosen open comms with her.

"Master, everything's smooth. With Teresa's help, fifteen Agents have infiltrated the Base and secured key points. Miss Wanda and Miss Gwen are about to strike!" Melinareplied quickly.

"Good. Proceed as planned. Tell HQ to clear a large bay and have medical and bomb-disposal experts standing by!" Rosen ordered.

Rosen wasn't planning to extract only Captain America,

but also the Valkyrie itself.

What interested him wasn't the plane,

but the Space Stone-powered bombs frozen aboard with Steve for decades.

Each rivaled a nuke; one could obliterate a city.

Rosen had no idea how S.H.I.E.L.D.—or HYDRA—had disposed of them in the original timeline,

but he certainly wouldn't leave such weapons outside his control.

"Yes, Master. I'll arrange it at once." Melina acknowledged and set to work.

Meanwhile Rosen commanded the Undead to try lifting the entire aircraft.

His Mass Teleport only worked on friendly, mobile units.

Fixed objects outside his control couldn't be ported.

A plane frozen in ice was a fixed object,

but if the Undead carried it,

it became "cargo" in motion.

The Valkyrie was huge and heavy,

but Rosen had summoned enough Undead to heft it collectively.

Together they barely raised the aircraft.

Seeing that, Rosen triggered the teleport without hesitation.

The next second, the Undead carried the plane into an empty hangar at Red Room HQ.

"Get Captain America out first—store him in a freezer; I'll use him as a gift later. Strip the bombs from the plane for separate handling!" Rosen ordered the waiting crew as the Undead set the aircraft down, barely holding themselves together.

"Yes, Master! We'll see it done!" the officer in charge replied, directing the scene at once.

Within minutes, the still-frozen Captain, ice and all, was cut out, lowered from the plane and sealed into a separate cryo-capsule.

Just as Rosen successfully retrieved Captain America,

Melina, far away in the Bear Country, issued the formal attack order.

Chapter 95: Can I Play With Your Arm?

On the Siberian ice plains, a convoy consisting of three large snowmobiles was slowly driving toward the distant mountains.

Inside one of the vehicles, a Central Asian scientist looked at the frozen landscape outside the window, his face filled with despair for his unknown future.

And across from his seat...

...was a long-haired Caucasian man wearing a half-face mask.

His indifferent eyes and motionless posture made him resemble a statue.

He was the super-soldier under HYDRA responsible for escorting the scientist—the Winter Soldier.

He was also the former friend of Captain America, Bucky Barnes.

In fact, these two individuals had some interaction with Natasha in the original timeline where Rosen did not exist.

During the plot of Captain America 2, when Natasha first mentioned the Winter Soldier to Captain America, she brought up how she had once escorted a nuclear physicist under S.H.I.E.L.D.'s orders.

During the process, they were attacked by the Winter Soldier.

The final result was the nuclear physicist being killed, and Natasha was left with a penetrating scar on her abdomen.

And the Central Asian scientist currently in this vehicle is that ill-fated victim who was killed.

However, on this Timeline, this scientist is unsure whether to call himself unlucky or fortunate.

If you call it fortunate, although he wasn't shot dead like in the original timeline, he was still captured by HYDRA. After all, he was a talent valued by S.H.I.E.L.D., so it was normal for HYDRA to secretly capture and utilize him without S.H.I.E.L.D.'s interference in this Timeline.

However, once under HYDRA's control, it's virtually impossible to leave alive under normal circumstances.

If you call it unfortunate, at least he is still alive for now.

Of course, the premise is that he remains under HYDRA's control.

But the current situation is that he no longer needs to go to the HYDRA Base.

Accompanied by a series of loud cracking sounds, the ice layer in front of the convoy suddenly fractured. A meter-wide ice fissure instantly cut off the convoy's path, forcing it to stop.

The co-driver of the first snowmobile had just opened the door, intending to check the situation.

He was grabbed by the collar and dragged onto the roof of the vehicle.

Seeing this, the driver hastily tried to close the door.

But several sudden strands of Webbing instantly bound him, leaving him immobile.

The HYDRA soldiers inside the carriage also noticed the anomaly at this moment.

Just as they opened the carriage door, several Flashbang Grenades were thrown inside.

While the front vehicle was being attacked, the rear vehicle was not spared either.

Only the middle vehicle, where the Winter Soldier was, was not immediately affected.

The Winter Soldier, this super-soldier, reacted instantly, grabbed the AK beside him, opened the door, and jumped out of the vehicle!

He immediately spotted the figures attacking the rear vehicle, raised his gun, and prepared to shoot.

But the next second, a strand of Webbing descended from the sky, stuck to the gun, and pulled it away.

Caught off guard, even the Winter Soldier couldn't prevent the gun from slipping out of his grasp.

Before the Winter Soldier could react, a figure hanging upside down from the roof appeared behind him.

"You must be the Winter Soldier, right? That metal arm is so cool, can I borrow it to play with?" The newcomer was Gwen, dressed in a black and white Spider Suit.

To allow Gwen to utilize her combat abilities even in this frozen landscape, Rosen had long ago instructed the Red Room to use the template of the Spider-Gwen suit she remembered, and had the Osborn side manufacture a set of Spider Suits using special materials and technology.

While it wouldn't make Gwen completely impervious to Water and Fire, at the very least, general high or low temperatures could no longer affect her combat performance.

Of course, basic protection was also essential; at least light weaponry was largely incapable of inflicting significant harm on her.

In addition, Rosen certainly didn't forget to equip Gwenwith some small magic trinkets.

It could be said that Rosen had taken care of everything he could for the Spider-Gwen he created.

If the future Little Spider Peter of the Main Universe had "Father" Iron Man...

...then Gwen, the pillar from Universe 96238, could also be said to have "Father" Rosen.

Of course, there are definitely huge differences between these two "fathers."

The Winter Soldier Bucky naturally knew nothing about Spider-Gwen.

He only knew the opponent was an enemy. He clenched his metal arm and threw a punch toward Gwen's head.

You want my metal arm? Then I'll use it to get intimately acquainted with your brains.

Spider-Gwen's suit, inheriting the lineage of the Spider-Man suit, was form-fitting.

As a result, Gwen's feminine figure was fully visible.

In the Winter Soldier's view, an enemy like this could not possibly withstand his strength.

However, the situation the Winter Soldier anticipated—a punch blowing up his opponent's head—did not happen at all.

Gwen simply reached out and easily caught the Winter Soldier's powerful metal arm.

Having been brainwashed since becoming the Winter Soldier, Bucky, who was usually devoid of emotion, rarely showed an expression of astonishment when faced with this unexpected development.

The nuclear physicist still inside the vehicle opened his mouth wide enough to swallow an egg.

He knew that when they were in Central Asia, he had witnessed the formidable power of the Winter Soldier's metal arm.

That was a terrifying force capable of easily tearing open the doors of armored vehicles.

But now it had been caught single-handedly by this masked woman who had just appeared?

"Wow, your strength is certainly not small, but it's a little lacking compared to mine. It looks like I really can secure a good position in the Avengers he talked about!" Gwensaid leisurely after feeling the force of the Winter Soldier's punch.

The Winter Soldier certainly wouldn't surrender so easily.

His right hand threw another punch.

It was still easily caught by Gwen.

He tried to raise his right leg to knee Gwen.

But Gwen reacted faster, flipping on the spot and kicking the Winter Soldier in the abdomen, sending him flying several meters before she landed safely.

Spider-Man's strength inherently far surpasses that of a super-soldier. The Little Spider of the native Universe in the future could easily subdue both the Winter Soldierand Falcon in a two-on-one fight.

Gwen was naturally no exception.

The Winter Soldier, having been knocked away, still tried to get up and resist.

But immediately following was a barrage of Webbing, binding him tightly and rendering him immobile!

Like a salted fish that has lost its dreams!

"Is this the Winter Soldier Master spoke of? He's nothing special!" At this moment, a figure wearing a long red robe quietly landed not far away, giving her assessment while looking at the immobilized Bucky.

It was Wanda.

Regarding Wanda's words, Gwen could only sigh internally, recognizing the boastful nature of the remark.

But she could only think it to herself.

Gwen, having joined Rosen's "ranks," was already very clear about the status of this disciple in Rosen's heart.

Can't provoke her, can't provoke her!

After dealing with the Winter Soldier, the remaining HYDRA personnel were left without any resistance, and the convoy quickly changed hands.

And a few minutes later, it set off again, heading toward the HYDRA Base!
