Leo's eyes never left Sophia's face as he leaned forward, his voice taking on a more intense tone. "Sophia, I know you're involved in this somehow. Ana's death is connected to the secrets she uncovered, and I believe you know more than you're letting on."
Sophia's expression remained calm, but Leo saw a hint of fear in her eyes. "I'm telling you the truth, Leo," she said, her voice steady. "I don't know anything about Ana's death. But I do know that Ana was getting close to something big. Something that could have changed everything."
Leo's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?" he asked, his voice firm.
Sophia hesitated, and for a moment, Leo thought she was going to reveal something important. But then she shook her head. "I'm not saying anything more," she said, her voice cold. "You can't make me."
Leo's eyes locked onto Sophia's, and he knew he had to tread carefully. He didn't want to push her too hard and risk losing her cooperation. But he was determined to get to the bottom of things.
"I'll be watching you, Sophia," he said, his voice low. "If I find out you're involved in Ana's death, there will be consequences."
Sophia's expression didn't change, but Leo saw a flicker of fear in her eyes. He knew he had to keep pushing, to see if he could crack her facade. But for now, he would have to let her go.
As he left the interrogation room, Leo couldn't shake the feeling that Sophia was hiding something. And he was determined to find out what it was....
