"It feels trashy," Han Sunmin said with a casual smile. Seo Yujin saw beyond that. "But it can't be helped after all. I felt trashy myself and insecure and pushed myself hard. So I ended up here. Maybe that's what I get for being trash," he scoffed. "Karma, I suppose."
Seo Yujin listened.
"Maybe that's what I get for being a jerk towards Jaehyuk. You probably hate me for it too. I'm used to it anyway, won't blame you."
Seo Yujin casually said, "Can I pat you?"
"Huh?" It was random as Sunmin stared at him.
Seo Yujin smiled as he leaned closer and placed a hand over his red hair, gently patting him on the head. "You remind me of a kid from back then. It must be hard."
Back when Yujin was struggling in his 30s, he met some aspiring young trainees in their early 20s who had some traits similar to Sunmin. He recalled giving them some pieces of his advice too.
"What? I'm older than you," Sunmin protested.
But Seo Yujin casually smiled. "Why do you have to be so hard on yourself?"
