Stillwater Town, a mountainous town under Mountridge County's jurisdiction.
Upon entering the town area, Dirk Carter didn't act recklessly but had Elbert Rivers get out of the car to ask the locals for information about the paths leading out of the country.
After some inquiries.
Elbert Rivers marked two exits on the map.
The first exit is a county road connected to Ardmore City.
Though the road conditions aren't great, it's still possible to drive out.
The other is a path that vehicles can't traverse; one needs to hike at least three kilometers to enter Ardmore City.
Elbert Rivers believes Astrid Giles would definitely take the main road because it's faster to enter Ardmore City by car.
But Dirk Carter had a different opinion.
Two points.
The first point is that the main road likely means roadblocks, and Astrid Giles is on the run; she's certainly afraid that Dirk Carter would notify Ardmore City's police for assistance in setting up controls.
