Jeff Hughes dared not defy.
He could only follow the directions given by the guard and walked into an alley.
This was the temporary dormitory for the correctional officers inside the detention center.
A door in the corner was opened.
The guard pointed inside with his hand and said, "Go in."
Jeff Hughes was somewhat bewildered, glanced inside the door crack, hesitated for a long time before mustering the courage to walk in.
The room had the appearance of a collective dormitory.
In the center was a chair, and seated on it was Fabian Vincent.
Jeff Hughes walked anxiously to Fabian Vincent and called out in a deep voice, "Teacher."
Fabian Vincent suddenly stood up, slapped him across the face, and then kicked him hard in the stomach.
Jeff Hughes fell to the ground in pain.
"Idiot, idiot, idiot!"
Fabian Vincent cursed three times.
It seemed he still wasn't satisfied.
He stormed up to Jeff Hughes, raised his right foot ready to kick again, but stopped midway.
