Dirk Carter finished saying this.
Rose Forrest said with some sympathy, "It's been like this since ancient times. So what? One person's strength alone can't change it."
Dirk nodded.
He said, "Yes, my strength alone can't change much. However, in the darkness, there should always be someone to light a lamp, right? I know that many storms are eager to snuff out this light. They're afraid of it, but I keep thinking there must be many people who will find the right path under this dim guidance."
Rose sighed deeply.
She said, "Dirk, just go ahead and do what you need to do. My sister and I will always silently support you from behind."
Dirk was a bit stunned.
He asked, "Shouldn't I be the one standing behind you, silently pushing you forward?"
