"You have two choices. First, we make the dishes and you take them to-go; or second, I refund the dishes now and you vacate this room."
The waiter said.
Dirk Carter frowned and said, "I remember when we booked this room, you didn't mention that it was reserved by someone else, so the aftermath is on you. I'm staying for my meal. How you arrange for other guests has nothing to do with us."
Dirk didn't want to leave.
He just wanted to treat the old man to a good meal today.
Just when the waiter was in a pickle.
A young woman in a uniform walked in.
Seeing that Dirk and the others hadn't gotten up, she asked, "What's going on? Didn't I ask you to eject them?"
The word "eject" sounded quite uncomfortable.
It seemed now that the so-called reservation was merely an excuse.
"The guests... the guests said they won't leave."
The waiter said, aggrieved.
On the left chest of the young woman, there was a nameplate.
It read, Lobby Manager Kimberly Dunn.
