Kai responds in confidence and Leo never expected him to be this direct.
Leo couldn't utter a single word but as Kai turned around to leave, he questioned him.
"What?"
Leo's shocking expression caught everyone's attention and he soon realizes that Ren also turned around to see what was happening.
He then apologizes to everyone and approaches Kai again.
"Kai, wait"
"But you don't even know him?"
"It might not be like that forever, we can always know each other since we are roommates now"
Kai then leaves without looking back while Leo is burning with jealousy.
"Ren, why don't we stay together?"
"Leo, I don't think it is how it works here" Rei responds to him.
"Everyone should only stay with the people they were assigned until next week" The Host then confirms Rei's response.
"Also i don't think its a good idea, it will give a different message to everyone if we share a room" Ren clears the air before he turns back to Alex.
As he hugs Alex, Rei could feel a burning sensation as he clenched his fists when he saw Ren and Alex quite close to each other.
"Lets meet tomorrow" Alex's words added fuel to Rei' fire.
Ren departs after hugging Alex and Jun in a friendly embrace walks towards his room.
"Ren, I like you"
Leo's sudden confession caught Ren off guard.
"What did he just say?"
"Did I get a confession from Leo?"
Everyone turned towards Ren and Leo as they heard Leo's confession.
The public chat soon started to explode as they could see a confession on their first day.
"No way this is happening to me"
"How is this even possible?"
Thoughts ran in Ren's mind as he felt surprised by Leo's sudden confession.
"I don't want to delay this anymore. I don't want to lose you"
Leo couldn't hold back his feelings anymore and he doesn't want to lose Ren.
"Leo.. wait." Ren stops him from further saying anymore.
"I don't know why my heart always races when I see Ren and weather i love him or not, but i don't want to loose him and i definitely like him"
"The thought of him getting closer to someone else is crushing me inside"
"I can't lose him"
Thoughts ran in Leo's mind as Ren stooped Leo.
"But we don't even know each other that well" Ren approaches him and asks him in surprise.
"Yes, but we can always know each other as we get along in the future"
"But.."
"Or do you already have someone you like?"
"..No, it's not like that"
"Then why don't you accept my feelings"
Ren feels puzzled and couldn't help but feel a little frustrated on what he is going to do next.
"It is true that I don't love anyone right now, but i have only treated Leo as a friend"
"Also I am still far away from the dream I have always imagined and I can't let any mishaps to shatter that dream"
"I can't expose myself"
Ren's eyes were ready to face Leo's confession but as he was about to respond, he could see the sincerity in Leo's eyes.
He doesn't want to shatter his hopes as well.
He could immediately remember the memories with Leo, the care and concern he has shown to him and how good of a friend he was to him in the past couple of days.
Ren hesitates to confront Leo's feelings but soon Alex comes to Ren's rescue.
"Leo why don't you both take a step back, i think Ren would really use some time to process on what you said"
Rei is listening to their conversation from far away and he starts to feel possessive suddenly.
"Why.." Leo questions Alex.
"Why are you meddling in between us?" Leo feels aggressive as Alex steps between them.
"Because I am his friend and I don't think he is ready to face your confession right now"
Just then Rei steps in, "Lets just drop this here today. Why don't you give him some time to think about it?"
Rei drags Leo by his shoulder gently as he signals Alex with his brow.
The silent communication soon made Alex feel awkward.
"Thankyou Alex" Ren sighs in relief as Alex steps in and Alex's thoughts are dispersed.
"I don't have feelings for Leo and I neither know how to deny a person without hurting them deeply"
"I know that, I realized you were about to deny him, but i think you should also think about it for some time before making any decision"
Ren looks a bit confused.
"Why is that?"
"Because you were about to reject him. I saw that you don't want to lose him as you friend and for that you need to at least respect his feelings instead of directly discarding them"
"You mean, I should accept him?"
"No, I won't say what you should do. But at least you should give him a reason on why you are rejecting him and you can only do that after thinking about it for sometime."
"You should at least let him know that you care about his feelings when you respond to him even though it will hurt him eventually, So that he could understand you"
"This will let him know that you respect him and his feelings"
"So you mean, I should wait for sometime to reject him?"
"Yes"
"But wouldn't that still hurt him?"
"It will hurt him, but in the meantime you will at least know how to respect his feelings and gently reject them as you know why you are not accepting him"
"But?"
"Okay, I know, I shouldn't interfere much. If you think you should think about it and if you still think the same you can respond to him tomorrow morning? How about it?"
"Okay, i think i can only do that" Ren feels low as he has to break someone's heart.
"But I want to ask you something?" Alex's tone turns deep as he starts to question him.
"Yes tell me"
"Why don't you like him? Do you have a reason?"
