Chapter 110 - Chapter : 70.1 : The Source of Ultron

The battle erupted without warning, sparking instant curiosity across Terra. Everyone watching felt it. When the entire Avengers team mobilizes, the situation can't possibly be simple. Something major must have gone wrong, serious enough to pull every hero into action.

In the High Council Chamber, several Councilors had already departed to handle external logistics, leaving only seven seated at the round table. Explosions thundered through the live broadcast feed as Gladwin asked grimly, "The appearance of the Infinity Stones will reshape Terra's future. I believe the Wandering Terra Project must now be fully activated."

Kennedy sighed, "But once it initiates, Terra enters near-total planetary dormancy. The impact would be irreversible."

Sith nodded reluctantly, "Unless absolutely necessary… activating it is a last resort."

But Gladwin was resolute, far more decisive than before.

"Start construction of the planetary engines immediately. We cannot fight unprepared. The Plan alone cannot defend us from potential alien threats."

A heavy silence followed.

To ordinary Terra citizens watching the broadcast, the Infinity Stones were astonishing, mysterious, powerful, thrilling. But to the Councilors, they signified something else: a larger cosmic system, capable not only of invading the Terra Earth Age, but even the Terra Federation Era beyond. This was no exaggeration in saying that they carried the lives of billions.

"The Project… what a burden," another Councilor murmured.

The plan's purpose was simple, yet terrifying: push Earth out of the Solar System, guiding it into another system. According to projections, completion would require no less than 300 years, divided into five eras: Brake Phase · Escape Phase · Acceleration Phase · Deceleration Phase · New Sun Phase

During the Brake Phase alone, humanity must: construct 10,000 propulsion engines, install 7,659 steering engines across the equator, halt the planet's rotation through synchronized ignition, and stopping rotation would unleash catastrophic disaster, earthquakes, megastorms, and oceans rising into nightmarish tsunamis.

To protect humanity, underground megacities beneath each planetary engine would shelter Terra's population. It would overshadow even the other Plan, dwarfing it in scale. In fact, that was ultimately intended to become a support structure for Wandering Terra, while the Federation simultaneously initiated mass awakening protocols, hoping to cultivate more humans with supernatural ability.

The planetary engine stood at the core: reactor gate → gas transmutation → pre-reactor → plasma pipeline → refusion core → precision magnetic conduits → main nozzle plus arrays of auxiliary stabilizers, coolant vents, steering systems, and emergency plasma barriers.

Nothing about it was simple. Yet one by one, the Councilors nodded. Gladwin's motion passed. Construction would begin, though activation depended on how severe Terra's threat became.

Hyeon watched the screen intensely, "If those people from the Earth Age can ultimately kill that purple giant… Terra's safety margin improves significantly."

Gladwin and the others exchanged looks, shaken, hopeful.

[Meanwhile, the Avengers Advance as the memory-capture footage resumed: The team charged toward a fortified mountainside base. Tony streaked ahead in his suit, jets roaring. The moment he attempted to breach the perimeter...]

[BOOM A surge of blue energy flared, hurling him backward.]

["Son of a-!" Tony snapped.]

["Language," Rogers warned dryly.]

[Jarvis reported: "Central structure protected by an energy barrier. Sitrikel's technology exceeds prior Hydra installations."]

[Thor sent a person flying, summoning Mjolnir with thunderous force, "Loki's scepter is here, it must be. Without it, Sitrikel couldn't sustain this barrier."]

[The battle below was chaos, fire, debris, screaming metal. Hidden in the treeline, Hawk-Eyed scanned the field: "Our ambush didn't land clean."]

[Tony, blasting through hostiles, snorted: "Hey—someone giving a speech out here?"]

[Rogers, charging ahead on a motorcycle, vaulted skyward and hurled the bike into an armored transport, blowing it apart.]

["My bad, slip of the tongue," he muttered, catching his breath.]

[Inside the Hydra Stronghold, Sitrikel stormed inside, "Who authorized the attack!?"]

["They're the Avengers," an operator answered nervously. "They parachuted in, our lines were stretched."]

[An elderly advisor stepped beside him, "They're here for the scepter."]

[Sitrikel barked: "Deploy all reserve tanks!"]

The livestream exploded with excitement.

"Tanks? This base is stacked!"

"He's using the scepter to power shields, insane tech!"

"Yeah, but men like him deserve whatever's coming."

"All wars deserve judgment."

[Sitrikel rallied his forces: "Strike their weak points, victory raises morale!"]

[The old advisor leaned in, "We could test the twins."]

[Sitrikel hesitated, "Too soon."]

["We need every advantage now," the old man urged. But when they turned, the twins were already gone.]

["Where are they!?"]

The livestream Barrage exploded with curses.

"Brainwashing level 100."

"Two seconds ago: NEVER SURRENDER!

"Now: Delete the files. I'm ready to surrender."

"Absolute clown energy."

[On the battlefield, smoke rolled like torn fabric across the ruins. Hawkeye drew an explosive arrow, breath steady, fingers taut, ready to tear a weapon fortress apart with one perfect shot. He loosed the arrow.]

[But before the explosion could bloom, a pale flicker, like a ghost made of wind and mockery, drifted past. Silence. No fire. No blast.]

[Barton blinked, confused, and lifted another arrow before a blur crashed into him, slamming him into the broken ground.]

[A white-haired man appeared at his side, voice like ice: "Didn't you notice?"]

[And then he vanished, gone like breath in cold air.]

[Hawkeye rose, bow trembling, eyes hunting shadows. A turret swiveled. A hot beam slammed into his waist and abdomen.]

[Black Widow sprinted through falling shrapnel. "Barton!"]

[Rogers' voice snapped across the comms: "We're facing a Superhuman."]

[Black Widow slid beside Barton, shielding him with her body as bullets traced sparks against the stone, "He's badly hurt. We need extraction."]

["Who's hitting the fortress?" Rogers demanded.]

[Before anyone answered, the ground shook. Hulk came crashing in like a living meteor, artillery battering his green hide to no effect. He roared, an earthquake in flesh, and ripped the fort apart like wet paper.]

"Invincible! The Hulk is invincible!"

"Hulk: What did I just run into?"

"Oh, bunkers. They don't exist anymore."

"Society's silent green king…"

"Classic big-green energy."

[Rogers hurled his shield, clearing a ring of enemies, "Stark, move. We need the barrier down."]

[Tony descended like a thunderous star, his suit firing an energy blast that sent terrorists flying, "Jarvis, status."]

["Energy fluctuations detected, north building basement."]

["Perfect. I'll take it." He tore through the battlefield, weaving through gunfire with effortless grace. Arm cannons fired shockwaves; missiles streaked into the barrier's weak point.]

[BOOM-! Light fractured, and the central energy field shattered like glass, "Entrance open! Move!"]

[Snow drifted across the forest edge. Rogers magnet called his shield back. Thor landed beside him, hammer humming.]

["Superhuman?" he asked.]

["Fast," Rogers replied, "The only one who hasn't shown himself since the start."]

[Black Widow's voice cut through static: "Barton's critical. I'm stabilizing him now."]

[Thor answered, urgency rising: "I'll get him airborne. No hesitation."]

[A heavy tank rolled toward them, metal jaws grinding snow.]

[Thor glanced at the incoming force, "Fierce. Like they downed a barrel of steroids."]

[Captain Rogers knelt, shield angled. Thor raised Mjölnir high, brought it down with Rogers' shield as the strike point.]

[BOOOOM-! A shockwave like thunder incarnate vaporized the tank and sent enemy combatants tumbling like leaves.]

["Retrieve the scepter, now." Thor stormed forward, hammer trailing stormlight.]

"Joint strike! The classic!"

"Flash-strike combo! Look at that synergy!"

"I envy them so much it hurts!"

Even the audience fell silent under the weight of awe.

[Inside the base, Dim light, humming servers, metal corridors like veins of a buried beast.]

[Sitrikel hurried down a hallway as glass shattered behind him. Tony flew in, hovering, suit gleaming like living metal. Bullets rained, useless against him.]

["Guys. Stop shooting. We could talk?" They fired harder.]

[He sighed. Shoulder magazines opened, rapid elimination.]

["See? Great talk."]

["What's great about that?" someone muttered before Tony entered deeper.]

[One enemy lurched for the terminal, but Tony blasted him aside and stepped free of the suit.]

["Alert mode." The suit primed weapons behind him.]

[Tony pulled the hard drive. "Jarvis, copy everything. Forward to Hill."]

In the high council, multiple Councilors leaned forward as Tony's feed streamed.

Hyeon exhaled sharply, "He's accessing their research archives? Will he remember?"

Others shook their heads, "We still don't know who he is. If we did, questions would be endless."

Memories belonged to reincarnation, but it hid its owners well. The high council could only watch.

[Snowfield perimeter Black Widow approached Hulk, voice like dusk settling, "Hey… big guy."]

[He roared, breath misting. She stepped closer. Soft. Calm. Steady.]

["The sun's getting low." She knelt, palm open.]

[Hulk wavered, then placed his massive hand in hers. She stroked gently from wrist to forearm. The monster shrank, muscles folding back into Banner's wearied form.]

The livestream erupted:

"Can she really control Hulk like this?"

"Is he blushing??"

"Beauty & Beast dynamic unlocked."

"Hulk: Everyone move, emotional leak incoming."

Inside the Medical community, doctors stared wide-eyed.

"Stress-response conditioning," one whispered. "Coupled with psychological anchors."

Mutation was powerful, yet not invincible.

[Deeper inside the base, Tony scanned, "Infrared, full sweep."]

["Left wall, reinforcement, hidden airflow," Jarvis confirmed.]

[Tony pushed, and the wall slid open like a secret breath.]

"He upgraded again!"

"Money has power. Jarvis IS wealth."

[An underground chamber yawned ahead. Machines. Cold lights. Experiments everywhere.]

[Then Tony saw it. A suspended Leviathan, dissected above a graveyard of Chitauri bodies, robots, grafted limbs, engines, horrors.]

The livestream froze in disbelief.

"He's studying the Chitauri."

"Trying to power them with the scepter!"

"Madness! Absolute madness!"

Tonio slammed the table, "Do you know how many buildings that whale-beast leveled? How many lives?"

Even usually calm Kasey trembled with rage. Darwin spoke quietly, words heavy as winter: "Curiosity enslaves as fast as power corrupts."

And everyone listened.

[Tony finds the scepter. He grabbed it, voice urgent, "Thor, I've got the prize."]

[But a girl stepped from the shadows. Cold fingers brushed Tony's temples. His pupils drowned in black.]

"No! He's compromised!"

[Alarms blared, images scrambled. Tony turned, and a vision hit him like breaking glass.]

[Avengers are dead. Bodies strewn. Half-shield broken. Black Widow. Barton. Rogers. Gone. All gone.]

[Tony staggered, horror clawing up his throat as the Leviathan roared overhead like the world ending.]
