Lyro walked two steps behind Fiona, hands in his pockets.
She moved ahead with her arms folded, back straight, saying nothing.
"Well. At least we're still technically on a date."
He tried to find comfort in that. It was moderate comfort at best.
Fiona stopped abruptly.
She turned halfway toward him. "I'm hungry."
Lyro's expression brightened immediately. He closed the distance between them in a few quick steps.
"I know a place," he said, and moved ahead to lead the way with considerably more energy than he'd had for the last ten minutes.
They arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later.
Lyro stepped ahead and held the door open , before the doorman could , he with a bright smile gestured her to go inside, waving his hand in an elegant motion hoping to impress her.
"Welcome to Faura de ploshe the finest restuarant at the Northern streets ."
The doorman slowly backed off getting a hint of the situation.
But Fiona simply walked through without comment.
