By the time Emily arrived at Sterling Group, it was past mid-morning, and the rush hour of staff had long been over.
Sunlight poured into the company lobby, bouncing off the polished marble floors and sleek glass walls.

And the culprit, Lucian Sterling, was nowhere to be found.
A few had even arrived unusually early, hoping to catch a glimpse of him.
