"Amusement park," Jisoo repeated, his voice hollow. "Closed for ten years. Production converted it into an outdoor performance complex."
Yuhyun leaned forward.
"Like... indoor practice rooms?"
"No. Outdoor. Everything filmed in open air."
I tried to picture it.
"What kind of facilities?"
"Ferris wheel. Carousel. Empty midway. Fountain plaza—that's where we did most formations. Rooftop platforms on the arcade building. At night they powered the neon signs."
Jinwook's chopsticks paused midair.
"That's going to look incredible on camera."
"Visually?" Jisoo nodded. "Spectacular. Our footage will destroy everyone else's."
He said it without enthusiasm.
I studied his face.
"What was the training actually like?"
Jisoo exhaled slowly.
"Psychological warfare."
The table went quiet.
"Every few hours, the coaches changed the mission. We'd learn choreography in the fountain plaza—twenty minutes drilling formations—then suddenly: Ren, switch positions with Hyunki."
I blinked.
