White-faced Owl was one of the top bosses in the underground fighting world, rivaling even Franklin in his abilities. While his name wasn't as well-known as Franklin's and he didn't have as many henchmen as Master Franklin, in a one-on-one fight, Franklin was no match for White-faced Owl.
Franklin only had two reliable fighters, Brother Edgar and Black Dragon, while White-faced Owl had ten, including his strongest and most ruthless fighter, Viper. Dozens of people had died at Viper's hands.
The best fighters like him usually only fought in White-faced Owl's biggest underground arena and only appeared on special occasions or when the boss demanded it. But there was a third reason why Viper would show himself.
