Chapter 171 - Completion, Odin, Aggregate

Everything is going according to plan.

Captain was touring and giving speeches under Nick's direction, while Ina and Potts, entrusted by Stark and Luke, helped Captain build his reputation and network. As for Tony and Luke, they were each immersed in their own labs, working tirelessly.

The difference is that Luke is struggling with the data dimension, while Stark and Banner are struggling with the intelligent management system.

The emergence of the mutants has brought a new wave of turmoil to the world. However, thanks to the effects of stabilizers, the situation is still manageable. As a major metropolis hardest hit by the mutants, the captain, backed by giants like Heberon, enjoys incredible popularity. Combined with Nick and his team's efforts, if nothing unexpected happens, the captain will soon take over and achieve ultimate victory.

The better news later is that the main body of Luke's Dark City core energy room can finally be completed and delivered.

It was a massive sphere, about a kilometer in diameter, like a fusion of machinery and flesh. Beneath the metal surface, dark red protrusions snaked densely, like human blood vessels. To the touch, it felt both the coldness of machinery and the warmth of flesh.

"It could have been done earlier, but you changed the blueprint!" Looking at Luke standing next to Ancient One, the haggard Mage King couldn't help but complain.

"This is the first time I've seen something this big." Stephen Strange, draped in a red cape, gazed at the behemoth in amazement. He'd always known the Master was crafting something massive for Luke, but he hadn't imagined just a portion of it would be so massive. Thinking about the various dimensional materials used, he was even more amazed.

Because of the materials, even the Supreme Mage cannot make a second one of this thing.

"You look quite energetic." Luke glanced at Stephen as he emerged from the portal, and was very sensitive to the changes in him. Seeing the scars still lingering on Stephen's face, one could imagine that he had just experienced a fierce battle.

"If you mean struggling on the brink of death to familiarize myself with my abilities, then I do look quite energetic." Stephen smiled, but the muscles on his face where the wound was pulled, turning his smile into a bitter one.

"If you have checked and found no problems, we will send it to the main dark city as soon as possible and install it." The Mage King looked at Luke with an inquiring look.

"No problem." Luke said, and suddenly a blue wormhole opened behind him. A dense group of metal worker bees, carrying their own small hammers, swarmed out of the wormhole, turned into a cloud of bees, and pounced on the core energy room.

"I feel the fluctuation of space." The Mage King looked at the blue wormhole opening behind Luke in surprise.

"It's just an alternative application of Bifrost teleportation technology," Luke said unfazed. Asgard's Bifrost wasn't just for transporting people and supplies; with increased power, it could become a formidable star-destroying weapon. Luke certainly wouldn't build a Bifrost of Asgard's caliber right now, but he could certainly build one that could be used once or twice, similar to Dr. Shavig's wormhole-like Bifrost technology for short-distance teleportation.

Although the energy consumed is also quite expensive.

After the Dark City is completely completed and handed over in the future, Luke will be able to establish a certain connection between it and the data dimension, and use the data dimension as a transit station and storage device.

"You need to prepare quickly. If everything goes smoothly with the core energy room, then subsequent plans will need to be implemented sooner rather than later." The Ancient One, without looking at the bee cloud slumped over the core energy room's surface, turned to Luke and warned him. Odin's devotion, including the teleportation bridge technology and the two dwarven master craftsmen, wasn't just to get Luke to address a potential threat in Asgard. He wanted to confirm the effectiveness of this collaborative model, to see if it could truly live up to the Ancient One's promise.

"The sealing pillar is ready. As for its effectiveness, its ability to seal the energy of the Cosmic Cube speaks for itself. And that's just the initial verification version of the technology. As for me personally, I do need to make some preparations." Luke nodded, indicating that he understood what the Ancient One meant.

This cooperation model was finalized after Luke and Ancient One discussed it many times. He naturally didn't want to see any accidents happen midway, which would lead to the purpose of the cooperation being deviated. So even without Ancient One's reminder, he would take this matter to heart and make extensive preparations cautiously and carefully.

This is related to how much energy supply he can accumulate in the future!

A few hours later, the test went smoothly.

This result made Luke, the Mage King and other mages breathe a sigh of relief.

"So our next step is to send it into the main body of the Dark City?" The Mage King looked at Luke sideways and asked tentatively.

"Okay." Since everything was going well, there was no reason for Luke to refuse.

"You set a time, and then I will take you to see Odin." Master Ancient One opened a portal behind Luke and said before Luke stepped in.

"Three days later, I'll get ready." Luke thought for a moment and gave a time. After seeing that Master Ancient One and Wang and the others were all right, he stepped through the portal opened by Ancient One and returned to Heberon.

He did need time to prepare. Not only for his own equipment, but also to inform a few people about his upcoming trip. After all, he didn't know how long he'd be gone this time. It could be just a day or two, or ten days, half a month, or even longer. With everyone else so busy, and him playing a crucial role in this new process, he certainly needed to notify everyone of his whereabouts in advance to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.

Apart from Ina and other family members, Nick was the first to be notified.

"So, you're finally going to meet the God-King of Asgard?" Nick sighed. Luke had reached this point, yet the S.H.I.E.L.D. he led was still only a semi-outsider. The Asgardians clearly considered him and his S.H.I.E.L.D. to be affiliated with Hyperion and the Sorcerer Supreme.

But Nick quickly composed himself. He said to Luke on the other end of the phone, "I'll let the captain know. Now we just have to wait for everything to be settled."

After hanging up the phone, Luke sorted through his gear. This time, he might need to take action. After all, the seal required releasing the collective hatred. Even with the Ancient One and Odin, two powerful warriors, by his side, there was no telling what might go wrong.

Three days passed in a flash amidst the intensive preparations. Luke once again saw the Ancient One in a yellow robe in the snowy land.

"How do we get there?" Luke had some guesses in his mind, but he still asked.

"Are you ready?" Instead of answering Luke, Ancient One asked back.

"Of course." Luke nodded.

"That's good," the Ancient One said, raising his head. Luke, as if sensing something, also raised his head to observe. He saw a dazzling beam of light descend from the sky, enveloping both him and the Ancient One. Amidst the shimmering energy, Luke could feel himself hurtling towards a point in the universe. Within the passage, time seemed to slow down.

Asgard.

Rainbow Bridge.

The light faded, and the figures of Ancient One and Luke appeared in front of Odin and others.

"I brought the person here." Gu Yi said calmly.

Odin glanced at Luke next to Ancient One, observed him carefully for a few seconds, nodded to him, held Gungnir's hand, and with a drastic turn of his body, he took the lead and led everyone towards Asgard.

Heimdall smiled at Luke in a friendly manner. As for Thor, who was eager to try, he had already picked up his hammer. The moment his father turned around, he rushed to Luke's side and put his hand affectionately on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, that's just how he is. He always has to maintain his dignity as a god-king," Thor whispered quietly to Luke. And Thor's words clearly didn't escape Odin's ears. He turned and glared at his foolish son, silencing him completely. Then he resumed his pace, leading the way.

The three parties began a short meeting in Asgard. The meeting was chaired by the host Odin, the father of the gods. The participants of the meeting included Luke, the Supreme Sorcerer Ancient One, Thor, the heir of Asgard, Queen Frigga, and a stern-faced woman named Karnilla.

When introducing everyone to each other, Odin did not say anything to Karnilado, who had a cold and unfriendly face, but Thor, who was sitting next to Luke, could not help but secretly reveal some information to Luke.

For example, Karnila rules over a province called Nornheim within Asgard. Although Nornheim is subordinate to Asgard, she considers it an independent nation. She dislikes Odin and constantly opposes him, calling herself the Queen of the Norns. According to my mother, this self-proclaimed queen possesses all the spells and magical knowledge of Asgard, and possesses magical power second only to that of the Father God Odin. The seal of Mangog, the conjunction of hatred that needs to be dealt with this time, is located in Nornheim, which she rules over. The Father God even confronted her once over this.

The burial place of the tribe defeated and buried by the god-king Odin is located in the shadowy land of the bottomless abyss of Nornheim - Odin's Cave. Odin used this special environment and cast a spell to make it an inescapable detention room.

"It is because of your past atrocities that such a great disaster has been left behind for my country!" Karnila bluntly held Odin, the host of the meeting, accountable.

"This meeting is held precisely to resolve this scourge." Odin and Karnila looked at each other and said coldly.

"But the battlefield is in Nornheim, my territory!" Karnila was a little irritable.

"Nornheim is also part of Asgard. We will try our best to control the power and reduce the losses." Odin first retorted sharply, then softened his tone and comforted.

"I will pull the other party into my mirror space as soon as possible, so as to minimize the losses." Gu Yi also spoke from his position.

"What about him? What is this Midgard person doing here?" Kalnila pointed at Luke.

"Him? He's responsible for the final seal and finishing touches. We need his skills," Odin replied expressionlessly. It was clear that Odin wasn't particularly impressed with this Karnila, but he certainly didn't want to clash with her in Asgard and have Ancient One, Luke, and the others watch.

"You are now putting your hopes on others?" Karnila mocked again, venting his emotions about his defeat in the fight with Odin some time ago.

"It seems we still have to fight first." Odin stood up and gripped his spear.

"Karlnila can come with us." Ancient One also stood up, easing the tense atmosphere between the two. The two looked at each other after Ancient One's words, and tacitly agreed not to target each other.

The following meeting went smoothly. After discussing the details, Odin and the others rushed to the bottomless abyss of Nornheim.

The Abyss was a vast pit, its diameter stretching as far as the eye could see. Everyone stood on the ground before the abyss. Under their gaze, Odin, his entire being surging with intense divine energy, stepped forward, chanting an incomprehensible incantation. As he chanted, the area where he stood became like the eye of a storm, and the surrounding energy began to rapidly converge towards this area, even transforming from the invisible into the visible!

The surging energy wave not only affected the surrounding environment, but also made the people behind Odin feel as if they had difficulty breathing and their footing was unstable, just like mortals facing a storm.

When the last syllable fell with Odin's passionate voice, a roar that penetrated the bones of the abyss seemed to echo from within! It was a sound filled with crazy hatred and anger.

The ground beneath my feet began to tremble slightly, and a great, mysterious fear enveloped the surroundings. It felt like a ferocious and brutal monster was about to crawl out from the abyss!

"It's coming out." A raven landed on Odin's shoulder and pecked twice at his ear. Odin gathered all his divine power, staring intently at the abyss while reminding the people behind him.

The slight shaking of the ground suddenly stopped.

The huge fear that was hovering around seemed to disappear in an instant.

But everyone's senses became more acute and they were aware of the approaching danger.

A deafening roar echoed close by. The mere sound carried a powerful, instantly maddening mental attack. A massive, horned, yellow monster leaped from the abyss. Its ferocious fangs protruded, and its massive arms, carrying a gust of wind, whistled and slapped towards Odin, who was at the forefront.

Luke's vision suddenly began to change. The ground was constantly stretching, and the monster's claws were very close to Odin, but they seemed like an insurmountable barrier.

Ancient One opened the mirror space at the right time.
