His eyes drifted back to the wife, the thick woman, the horse keeper, still kneeling in the hay, staring at him with wet, adoring eyes. "Look at them. Do they look harmed to you? They advanced more in one night than in their entire lives."
Mei closed her eyes. The war. The dying swordsmen at the front. The separation law thinning by the day. The upper realm's endless reinforcements. And four of her most promising disciples, kneeling in the hay before a god's erection.
She nodded.
"Please head towards our sect. You will be given the guest chambers."
He smirked. And then, completely naked, as if the concept of shame had never once touched his existence, he rose into the air and flew.
