Liam's POV
"What are you still doing there?" She asked, and I slowly turned my head to look at her.
Skyler's voice resounded from behind me. She held the railings, and she stared at the sky before heaving a sigh. "What a beautiful evening. I've been waiting for you inside, but now I understand why you decided to stay here for so long," she whispered, her hand touching my back and my body tensed.
I kept my gaze on that one star that had become even more visible as the day darkened. "Why were you waiting for me? Why didn't you leave already?" I asked, still looking at that star.
"Are you seriously going to stand here for long? The celebration is just tomorrow, you know?Shouldn't you be prepared as the king of the kingdom? And you know…" her voice became seductive as she caressed my back.
