Chapter 255 - Three Generations of Father and Sons in One Lineage

Chapter 255 — Three Generations of Fathers and Sons in One Bloodline

"I like you, Hinata," Naruto said as he looked straight into her eyes.

"I like you too, Naruto-kun," Hinata replied earnestly.

"Hahahaha, not bad at all," Yusuke burst into loud laughter at the most unsuitable moment, while Kiba's expression twisted with displeasure.

Not because he liked Hinata—no, nothing like that. He simply felt that a "loser" like Naruto was unworthy of someone like her.

"Uncle…" Naruto scratched his head awkwardly.

"Congratulations, Hinata," said Yūhi Kurenai. Seeing her student find happiness filled her with genuine joy.

"Kurenai-sensei…" Hinata lowered her head shyly under everyone's gaze.

"Yusuke, you should know that Hinata is the future heir of the Hyūga main family," Tsunade said.

Hearing that, Hinata's expression immediately tightened with discomfort.

"So what?" Yusuke responded casually.

"He's right. Besides, Naruto is our Sensei's son," Kakashi added. In terms of background, Naruto's was unquestionably the most extraordinary.

"Kakashi, I'll leave this matter to you. Whenever you have the time, inform Hiashi. No matter what happens, Naruto is still our nephew," Yusuke said as he looked at Kakashi.

"I understand, Nii-san," Kakashi replied. Both personally and as a shinobi, he certainly had to help Naruto.

"But Nii-san… what if the head of the Hyūga clan doesn't agree? What should we do?" Kakashi asked.

"Oh, of course we'll win him over with virtue," Yusuke said with a mischievous smile.

"Even if Hiashi agrees, do you really think those stubborn Hyūga elders will accept it?" Tsunade questioned.

"That's true…" Kakashi imagined the elders' faces and shivered. Their attachment to the clan's rules was terrifying.

"Relax, Kakashi. Just do what you normally do. Members of the Hyūga clan can die in their sleep, and the Hyūga elders can choke on their food. So just handle it. Besides, your brother's wife is the Hokage," Yusuke said in an almost too casual tone.

"N-Nii-san, the things you say are way too dangerous…" Kakashi looked at Yusuke with a complicated expression.

"Hahaha, not at all. Remember, in the end this world always bows to strength. Since we're stronger than them, it's only natural," Hatake Yusuke said.

Kakashi nodded quietly.

Tsunade covered her face with one hand.

"Uncle is so cool!" Nawaki said in awe.

"Uncle… I'll earn their approval. About this…" Naruto looked at Yusuke—who was speaking terrifying things with a relaxed expression—and lowered his voice.

"You don't need to worry about this, Naruto," Kakashi said.

"He's right. Leave it to the adults," Hatake Sakumo followed.

"Uncle Sakumo…" Warmth spread through Naruto's chest. He had never felt like he had such a big family truly standing behind him.

"Yes. Leave everything to us. Although… it would be unreasonable for us to pressure them all at once. We can't act recklessly. How about this, little Hinata: go home and inform your father and those elders. If anyone objects, tell them to pick one of us. If they can defeat even one of us, then I'll listen to whatever they have to say," Sakumo said.

Everyone fell silent. No one expected Hatake Sakumo—who was usually cold—to be this cunning. Truly, not a single person in this family was normal.

"What do you think, Nii-san?" Kakashi asked as he looked at Hatake Yusuke.

"I think Father's suggestion is excellent. Oh right, little Hinata, if the entire Hyūga clan wants to fight together, that's fine too. If they want to call for help from outside, that's also fine," Yusuke added kindly.

Everyone rolled their eyes. Defeat the three of them? Don't be ridiculous.

Hatake Sakumo, the White Fang of Konoha—among all the Kage, he had always been one of the strongest. Add decades of continuous improvement, and his current strength was unimaginable.

Kakashi had surpassed his father years ago, and his power now rivaled Hashirama or Madara in their prime.

Hatake Yusuke? He was already unstoppable during the Third Great Ninja War. Now? Defeating him was even more impossible.

"Um…" Hinata whispered bashfully.

"Yusuke, Hinata is an extremely obedient girl. Don't force her to say difficult things. How about this—Tsunade and I will go talk to her family later and explain everything," said Kurenai.

"That works," Tsunade nodded.

"Nee-san, I want to come too!" Nawaki said.

"No. Why would you come?" Tsunade rejected him instantly.

"Everyone…" Naruto watched all these people working together to help him.

"Thank you," he said as he stood up and bowed deeply toward the Hatake family.

"Naruto, come on now. We're family, aren't we?" Sakumo said.

Seeing how the Hatake family treated Naruto, even Kiba and the others felt jealous.

The dinner continued with laughter and warmth.

"All right, Hinata, we'll go with you," said Hatake Kurenai—who, following Japanese custom, now used her husband's family name after marriage.

"Can we come along?" Sakura asked.

"Of course. I've never been to Hinata's house either," Kiba said, followed by Shino. Obviously, they wanted to support Hinata.

Hinata nodded shyly.

As they prepared to leave—

"All right, I'll take you there," Yusuke said.

"That would be for the best," Tsunade agreed. Kurenai, who was pregnant, couldn't move too quickly.

"Are you all ready?" Hatake Yusuke clapped his hands, and in an instant, everyone vanished from sight.

"I really hope they don't agree," Kakashi muttered with a malicious tone.

"True. It's been a while since I last moved my body," Sakumo said while caressing his beloved sword.

"You three… what kind of father and sons are you? If Naruto hears this, he'll be devastated," Yūhi Shinku said helplessly.

"Uncle Shinku, do you want to stretch your legs a little?" Kakashi asked lazily with half-lidded eyes.

"Me? Absolutely not…" Shinku said. Though he was a genjutsu expert, such techniques meant very little against the Byakugan.

"Nii-san, what about you?" Kakashi asked Hatake Yusuke, who was lounging comfortably.

"Me? No thanks. I'm way too weak. If someone got killed because I stepped in, it would just cause trouble," Yusuke said as he leaned back leisurely.

Shinku stared at the three of them with despair in his eyes. Three generations of fathers and sons—every single one was strong, cunning, and absolutely abnormal.

"All right then… Nii-san, want to spar a little? I feel like my strength has hit a plateau lately," Kakashi said lazily.

"No. You're too weak," Yusuke answered flatly.

"You've got to be kidding me—YOU are the one who's not normal, Nii-san!" Kakashi complained.

"No. It's because you really are weak. I haven't trained in years. My life has been so boring," Hatake Yusuke sighed.

Hearing that, Kakashi could only accept his fate.

"If it's only Kenjutsu, I'm not sure I would lose," Kakashi muttered, slightly dissatisfied.

The moment he said that, regret washed over him. He was confident in his swordsmanship, yes—but against Hatake Yusuke, he had absolutely no confidence, especially since Yusuke hadn't touched a sword for years.

"Oh? Really? That's quite the big talk. In that case… let me play with you for a bit," Yusuke said.
