"Misused, and cause them to die in vain? Heh heh, that would be quite amusing indeed."

'Nanook' let out a faintly mocking chuckle, and then THEIR voice abruptly turned cold and disdainful.

"One is called Tom. The other is called Jerry. Injuring them is not difficult—but killing them? Heh, pure fantasy!"

"Even the Aeon of Abundance, when it comes to sheer vitality, may not surpass them!"

Hearing this, the cat and mouse crossed their arms proudly and nodded repeatedly, clearly agreeing that Aha could not have been more correct.

But to Phantylia, only one thing remained in her mind—utter disbelief.

"Surpass… the Aeon of Abundance?"

If anyone else had said such words, she would have scoffed outright, dismissing them as an ignorant bumpkin or a raving madman.

Yet this kind of absurd claim, which she would normally disdain, had now been spoken personally by an Aeon!

This… was this truly possible?

She herself had personally experienced the power of Abundance. Even the half-destroyed Ambrosial Arbor had been able to supply her with an overwhelmingly vast surge of vitality.

The might of the Aeon of Abundance was something utterly beyond imagination.

But how could Nanook possibly speak falsely?

Phantylia felt dizzy, her vision swimming. Whether it was her reverence for an Aeon or her understanding of reality itself—something had been shaken.

"There is no need for doubt. This is a conclusion I have verified comprehensively,"'Nanook' said slowly, with an authority that brooked no questioning.

"No matter what damage they suffer—even if they are instantly vaporized—they can recover to their original state in the blink of an eye. This level of ability is not something even Abundance can necessarily achieve."

"However, their power cannot be borrowed or transferred in the slightest."

Cannot be borrowed…

Could that even be considered a restriction?

Phantylia stared at the utterly ordinary-looking cat and mouse, her expression incomparably complex.

Can I truly control monsters like these?

Ignoring whether she could even digest such an overwhelming amount of information, Aha continued unhurriedly. "That is merely the foundation of their survival. Their true strength lies in their unmatched learning ability."

"Their comprehension borders on the absurd—almost anything, they can fully grasp after a single glance."

"This is also the greatest reason I am entrusting them to you. You have subdued the remnants of the Borisin and are my confidant. You can teach them both the powers of Abundance and Destruction, accelerating their growth at the fastest possible pace."

With that, THEY lowered THEIR gaze and fixed it upon Phantylia, questioning her directly. "So? Can you raise them into truly fearsome beasts that strike terror into all who hear of them?"

Though she had not once dared to lift her eyes to meet 'Nanook''s gaze, Phantylia still shuddered instinctively.

The pressure of an Aeon—how could she possibly withstand it casually?

Yet at the same time, knowing that Nanook had entrusted her with such an important task filled her with boundless honor.

If THEIR judgment was not mistaken, then these two… beasts might one day even stand shoulder to shoulder with Aeons.

If she could foster bonds with them, or even control them outright, the benefits would be immeasurable!

"My lord, please rest assured!"

Phantylia prostrated herself once more, solemn and resolute as she declared, "Even if I must feed myself to the tiger, I will present you with the most perfect war beasts imaginable."

"Good. But you must be mentally prepared."

Aha glanced at the cat and mouse, recalling what THEY had experienced on the way here, and 'graciously' offered a warning. "Their destructive urges are extremely strong. You must keep a close watch on them."

As for whether you can truly manage that—well, that's not my problem.

I've already warned you. If you let your guard down and they tear a living planet apart, don't blame me.

Thinking of this, even Aha felt a touch of annoyance.

Just during the journey here, they had chased each other around in THEIR Elation domain and already wrecked two miniature worlds.

How they managed to do it, THEY had no idea—but they just did.

These two little troublemakers—who could possibly tame them, THEY didn't know, but THEY certainly couldn't.

Otherwise, wouldn't it have been better to keep them around for fun? Why dump them on Phantylia instead?

That little spark thought she had received a tremendous blessing—never realizing that this was simply Aha tossing away a burden.

As for what would become of the Borisin remnants she had painstakingly united…

Hahahaha, one could only wish her explosive-level beast-taming talent.

Phantylia smiled faintly, her expression tinged with pride. "Leave it to me, my lord. You may put your mind at ease."

Good. Gutsy.

Aha secretly gave her a thumbs-up.

It was a waste for this little spark to serve as Nanook's Emanator—how much better would it be if she followed THEM instead?

Nanook's fury didn't matter anyway. In front of THEM, THEY were almost never not angry.

Unfortunately, the script had only just been handed out. If Aha were to slap a mask onto her face right now, all this effort would go to waste.

Aha laughed inwardly, though THEIR face remained icy cold.

"The items bestowed may not be priceless treasures, but you must not grow lax. You are to accelerate the plan. I will be watching at all times."

Phantylia's spirit surged. "Please rest assured, my lord. When the Luofu's Martial Exposition begins, that shall be the day I deliver the true words of Destruction unto them!"

Although it was too late to raise the two beasts and send them to the battlefield together, following the original plan—rescuing Hoolay and igniting conflict among the three internal factions of the Xianzhou—would be effortless.

Hearing this, Aha nodded indifferently.

"Very well. Matters here are concluded. I shall depart."

With that, the strange space instantly disintegrated, and Phantylia found herself back within the temple constructed by the Borisin.

Looking at the cat and mouse beside her, and the Curio in her hand, she bowed deeply once more and respectfully addressed the boundless void. "Safe travels, my lord."

In another, unknown star region, a black silhouette holding a mask stepped out from warped space.

Immediately afterward, uncontrollable laughter rang out.

"Hahahahahaha! It worked—this is really about to work!"

What kind of expression would Nanook wear upon learning of this, one wondered? Just imagining it was pure Elation.

THEY would surely disregard the gap in power and come charging in madly to seek revenge.

And Lan—stirring chaos right in THEIR homeland—just thinking about it was exhilarating!

THEY had given that little spark no small amount of 'gifts'. Perhaps it really would stir up a storm, rocking that little boat adrift in the starry sea until it reeled.

And that was exactly what THEY wanted to see.

Because THEY had already given the people of the Xianzhou a way to save themselves.

Not long ago, THEY had bestowed a mask upon a pink-haired little girl who had become an Emanator without a Path.

What was her name again? Fu… Xuan?

Ah-ha, names weren't important—the effect of the mask was.

When unleashed, the power of that mask was enough to blow both that little spark and whoever she tried to save to death more than ten times over.

As for the activation condition…

It required ten thousand Xianzhou citizens shouting in unison: "Lan is nothing but a battle-obsessed blockhead! Aha is the supreme god the people of the Xianzhou should worship!"

Hahaha! If that scene really came to pass—hahahaha!

Lan, did you think driving me away back then meant it was all over?

Didn't see this coming, did you? I'll be the one to personally ensure its use!

Nanook's little spark—you'd better pull your weight.

THEY laughed wildly as THEY sped forward, heading straight for the Luofu, countless star regions flung behind THEM.

After laughing to THEIR heart's content, THEY took out two bottles of drinks with a hint of regret.

"Ah, what a pity. Nanook recovered too quickly. Otherwise, pouring both of these straight into THEIR chest wound would've been so much fun."

"Next time, THEY won't fall for it so easily. Tsk tsk. Who should I go cause—cough, go play with next? What a troublesome problem."

Xianzhou Luofu, Exalting Sanctum.

Escorted by the Cloud Knights, Arbiter-General Jing Yuan, Director Lingsha, Helm Master Yukong, and Chief Artificer Gongshu—six of the Six Charioteers still in active duty—appeared together.

The sight drew constant stares and photos from passersby.

They paid the onlookers no heed. As long as traffic was not disrupted, they acted as though nothing unusual was happening.

They hurried forward, converging with Xueyi and Huohuo, who had arrived almost simultaneously.

Jing Yuan stepped forward to greet them.

The calm composure of the ever-serene general was nowhere to be seen. All that remained on his face was caution.

Even so, he looked better than the others—everyone else's anxiety was practically spilling over.

"Judge Xueyi, Judge Huohuo—are you certain this information is accurate?"

"Has the Aeon of Elation truly descended upon the Luofu? If the intelligence is reliable, then where are THEY now?"
